He was talking to someone and quickly came over told me thank you, and we had a brief conversation, but had to head back inside. Cool guy.
That was great. Especially great to see Brian Gumbel and Willard Scott together. I remember when they were on "The Today Show" when I was a kid. Only people missing was Katie Couric and Jane Pauley. Great that they still pop in once in a while.
I have met Matt several times and he is truly one of the nicest men you will ever meet! He always takes the time to shake hands/sign autographs/or take pictures with audience members even though he maight be strapped for time. I wihs more celebs were like him!
