great, we can pass law written by bureaucrats who will have no clue about anything, and will fuck it up. But really, this is a typical argument against the free market, that the little guy can't do it without the help of the government. The fact is, the little guy has a far better chance when the government is out of the way. Net Neutrality is no different. Do you have problems right now, with no net neutrality legislation? Not really. Last thing we need is government involvement.
Net Neutrality IS digital democracy. Net Neutrality IS the last bastion for freedom of speech, freedom of expression. Net Neutrality IS NOT (I repeat) IS NOT giving the Feds control. Net Neutrality IS THE OPPOSITE OF THAT!!! Go to SavetheInternet dot com and find out the facts and how you can help SAVE THE INTERNET. BTW, Rupert Murdock (FOX news) owns MySpace. Google his name if you don't know who he is.
The idea that the Government should (or even that it could) regulate the internet is preposterous. The problem is not ISP's, the problem is human ignorance. With a little knowledge, any ISP block can be circumvented by setting up a proxy.
What?! How do you figure? How on earth can free choice (which is what net neutrality advocates), lead to more control by the corporations than the corporations directly owning it?
Thank you for producing this video! It is important for others to understand the importance of net neutrality, as well as every viewer of the internet to which the concept applies.
The difference between the internet, TV and Telephone is that the internet is not currently regulated by the government. THAT is freedom. Also, xgeronimo, Capitalism cannot exist WITHOUT freedom. A free, capitalist market is what people who desire freedom should fight for. Not handing over what was created in a free market to the government. Socialism sucks.
The Greed vs Freedom battle is going on. It's a lot about differences in values. The battles in the Middle East are of similar nature. The freedom always wins. It's just a matter of time. The jews will smarten up and stop putting up new walls. The capitalists will realise that freedom is a good thing to invest in. Amen.
Awesome. Simple explanation. And you are 100% right!! Thank you for putting it into laymen's terms. I'm sure there are quite a few people confused by the terms being tossed around.

People are confused as to what Net Neutrality exactly is.
You WANT

Net Neutrality is your freedom to visit everything you want to.

watching this guy's mouth move is like having a beaver gnaw out my eyes. He's so cheesey.
I still support his point though.
