@RealityCheckHero if you get a chance check out the band or BRYAN FERRY, either is still touring, blacks are included, always have been..very integral part of FERRY'S repetoire..
Bryan Ferry was a prophet of the 70’s! His lyrics were so deep and touching, his lyrics were not only about parties, sex and easy life; he always wanted to show the consequences of everything and how life is about; always dressed in his bright personal style, a total genius
THIS IS WHAT IT WAS ALL ABOUT..VINTAGE ROXY MUSIC HERE...AND AMERICA JUST COULDN'T GRASP IT..DIDN'T WANT TO TAKE THE TIME OR GREY MATTER TO TRY AND FIGURE IT OUT..AMERICA LOOK WHAT YOU MISSED OUT ON..LONG LIVE DONNIE AND MARIE OSMOND!
This was shot in early 1975 at the University of Chicago during Roxy's short U S tour. When, during this tour, the band played a full concert at the Chicago Auditorium (the "These Foolish Things" LP played over the PA before the show), Bryan announced the band's "experiment" using a prerecorded string section during "A Really Good Time."
One of Roxy Music best songs. Great lyrics and phrasing ..how many people out there are " well educated with no common sense"? I know more than few...Thanks for the great upload, I had never seen this before.
ANOTHER work of genius-not many bands could match the amazing lyrics-with music that conveyed the emotion of them -so perfectly as Roxy-it has no date code-song after song...just a timeless gift to our lives.
He dresses very classy, even back in the 70's and early 80's when everybody was dressing as shocking as possible, he always wore something with class. Either his uniform or a tux, he dressed with class.
wow, never seen this song live! Bryan is the best, I love the way he sings with so much intention with the least gestures - Brilliant! thanx for the upload
and I know, and you know, we all know...we want ROXY! Those were the days...

They deserved to have done a theme for one of the James Bond movies.

I love how Brian's always wearing a tux and slicked-back hair while the rest of the band looks like the Spiders from Mars.
