  • Awesome heli! One of the very best saves ever seen, and btw excellent camera take. Too bad the triple-thumb-up button is missing on YT :-)

  • Stop advertising. One, its annoying. 2, you make nothing from it. Go to account settings and turn off Advertising

  • @magicmike1122 Am sure Bruce would be happy to do so as soon as you stop TROLLING & sign over your pay check into his bank account each month.

Methinks you maybe suffer from subscriber envy ........... man up & shut your gob eh m8.

You yanks all to often put your foot in it when you allow yourselves to speak.

Just because you can act like a 12 year old on YouTube is no reason to actually do so :)

  • @Blowfeld20k Me think Bruce wont be happy when my paycheck arrives in his bank account, it will be even less that what youtube pays him right now haha.

  • best high stress auto i've seen on youtube....... SHE'S GOIN' DOOOOOOOOWN!!!!!

  • The Pilot did a Great Job in getting the R/C Helicopter on the Ground like he did!!! Thumb-Up Great Job!!! Great Job in getting to the R/C Helicopter too!!! And"KNOWING IS HALF THE BATTLE"G.I.Joe.......56hueycobra

  • Great Save! I always enjoy your video's.

  • great save good sprint. i dare say only 2 or 3 people in my local club could get there in half the time.. its amazing that he was able to bring it down with alost no damage. might i suggest to all people with this esc to have a small co2 extinguisher on there belt.. what esc is that by the way. dont you think that would be a factory defect if the system was balanced electrically. warranted time

  • @CeeL33T yep, it's great isn't it?

  • Ha, is this what lazy australians do with their unemployment funds?

  • Yep, great save!

  • That sure was a very good save indeed , Wayne did and excellent job of bringing it in, with no damage to heli other than what the lipo fire s caused

  • It was a great save, but would have been "entertaining" if they packs had exploded....

  • what ESC was it? Castle Creations ?

Lol stupid question.. now I realised the aussie accent ... it wasn't.. btw since he 's flying a battery below 8s he could have used a CC ICE100. the non HV ones work great.. I have over 50 flights on mine wth no probs at all. and it's also pushed close to it's limits

  • what ESC was it? Castle Creations ?

  • You have some awesome skills. I must say, it could have been worse.

  • nice save indeed. glad to see it will fly again

  • so wayne stays in the club he notified the camera man 5 mins before the crash :P

  • Which ESC was he using in the heli?

  • agreed awsome save

  • Bravo Wayne, perhaps it was not good in the sprint, but gained the lost time before,in barriers jump. I vote 7 / 10, at least, he beat his wife! ;-) LOL....

  • Fire Sucks!

  • What a stunning Kasama want to more of that, hopefully it wont be doing an impersonation of a Nitro again

  • Wonderful save. Next time he should get a fuel powered chopper, lose the engine and it won't burst into flames.

  • the downside of slowing the shutter speed is that in case of a crash slow motion won't be nearly as spectacular :)

  • brilliant save made, very nice effort... you should be competing in the NZD Olympic hurdle team for sure!!!

  • Yeah impressive save. In regards to your comment about Doctor's bills and your wife's health, I sincerely hope all is well and she is ok. Cheers.

  • 'How wonderful that save was Man!'

  • I'm impressed the blades are in such good shape despite hitting the dirt at what looked like a couple hundred RPM.

  • Bird strike...

    No sorry, insect strike

  • Great save!

  • 100 yard hurdle

  • I like the comment from Wayne , cant even burn the hobbyking velcro off . nice save )

  • What a great save , good job on saving it !!!!

  • @xjet That's one scary intense little Electric-Eggbeater... Well saved, indeed.... The Cameo by the

Bell-47 G-3-b-1 was pretty nice, too...! Ciao.

  • Good job mitigating the damage once the majic smoke escaped.

  • Excellent save!

@xjet Bruce, what camera are you using? Switching shutter speed without even shaking the camera is not possible with an ordinary Handy-cam!

  • @iTuurke It's an "old school" Panasonic camera -- from an era when functionality and performance was more important than features and bling. I've given a tour of that camera in a video on my channel called "The video camera I use for filming RC planes" watch?v=6XfxgyNjYg8

  • @xjet Thanx for the link! Did you ever find a proper replacement for this cam? I love the quick focus ring! Just like my DSLR!

Keep up the good work of entertaining us. It is getting Winter here and today was fogged all day with visibility of 100m or less... No flying... All lipo's charged and manualy discharged....

  • @iTuurke No, haven't found a replacement for it yet. The cheapest camera on the market today with the key features of this one is about $5K and I just don't have that amount of money to spare. Most of our income goes on just surviving and paying the doctors' bills for the wife.

  • @xjet I hope your wife is okay.

  • @xjet I heard your story about the health of your wife. Stunning to hear thing like that happen in modern times (do you live that remotely?)

If I had some money to spare....(I know your not getting rich from these lame remarks. Sorry.)

Again, keep up the good work (love your sense of humor btw...)

    Arthur

  • @xjet how has your wife been?

  • @xjet Ahh the old GS500!! I had a GS400 for many years before something, which I can't remember, stopped working on it...probably due to the abuse an 18 year old gives a camera while out on his mountain bike. It was a great camera though. Good weight to it. Great functionality. They were the perfect size. I never liked the new cameras coming in and I still don't.

  • nice save and a good sport about it too. Keep up with the great videos :P

  • This could have been a lot worse. Great auto gyration until you lost the receiver power. Fence jumping technique needs a lot of work. May have been better to land on this side of the fencing. Luckily there was no expensive camera equipment on board. Please pass on the details of the post mortem.

  • good save

  • great save

  • Very nice save!!!!!

  • theres a couple hundred dollars worth of batteries gone. good to see the heli itself is still in prime condition!

  • Prestidigitation demo!

Too much smoke, and only just enough magic. ;-)

  • Nice save,, hope to see the heli flying soon!!

  • Lucky guy, usually when the ESC melts down the entire thing goes up in flames, total loss, he was very lucky. It would have been a good idea for someone to take him a fire extinguisher, turned out he didn't need it this time, but if that ever happens again the pilot might not be so lucky.

  • Great save.. Problem is that the smell of an burned ESC doesn't go away.. ever. That is one of the finest helis i wish for

  • Great save. Glad you did not have much damage.

  • nice flight man 1 hell of a save :)

  • Great save Wayne (textbook autorotation) from the boy's over here in the good old USA.

  • an electric helicopter is flying 80kph to the south what way is the smoke blowing?

  • @xenothius 28.69 degrees north east

  • Great flying Wayne and what a mental save mate, nice one ;-) thumbs up.

  • It does look surprisingly unbroken for such a tragic event. Great save indeed.

  • But he got lucky :)

  • Awesome save by Wayne but he must be getting old ... in years gone by he would have cleared both those fences in a single bound.

  • To bad for those last couple of feet though... But very nice save!!

  • well done on getting it to the ground in one piece.

  • What's your take on those Nanotech batteries, Bruce? Any suspicion that it might have played a part in this fire?

  • No more 15C zippy's for this guy!

  • interesting insight on shutter speed.....just wish I could do that on my El Cheapo HK FPV camera.

  • skip to 2:50 for fire

  • thats kinda what we asked you to do with that old trainer.....make it fo in fire in mid air

  • Ouch
