@Blowfeld20k Me think Bruce wont be happy when my paycheck arrives in his bank account, it will be even less that what youtube pays him right now haha.
@magicmike1122 ROLF.... i hear yah brother!! .... you must have same employer as me ....... or your ex has the same flesh eating divorce lawyers as mine.*FUME!!!!!!*
The Pilot did a Great Job in getting the R/C Helicopter on the Ground like he did!!! Thumb-Up Great Job!!! Great Job in getting to the R/C Helicopter too!!! And"KNOWING IS HALF THE BATTLE"G.I.Joe.......56hueycobra
great save good sprint. i dare say only 2 or 3 people in my local club could get there in half the time.. its amazing that he was able to bring it down with alost no damage. might i suggest to all people with this esc to have a small co2 extinguisher on there belt.. what esc is that by the way. dont you think that would be a factory defect if the system was balanced electrically. warranted time
Lol stupid question.. now I realised the aussie accent ... it wasn't.. btw since he 's flying a battery below 8s he could have used a CC ICE100. the non HV ones work great.. I have over 50 flights on mine wth no probs at all. and it's also pushed close to it's limits
Bravo Wayne, perhaps it was not good in the sprint, but gained the lost time before,in barriers jump. I vote 7 / 10, at least, he beat his wife! ;-) LOL....
@iTuurke It's an "old school" Panasonic camera -- from an era when functionality and performance was more important than features and bling. I've given a tour of that camera in a video on my channel called "The video camera I use for filming RC planes" watch?v=6XfxgyNjYg8
@xjet Thanx for the link! Did you ever find a proper replacement for this cam? I love the quick focus ring! Just like my DSLR!
Keep up the good work of entertaining us. It is getting Winter here and today was fogged all day with visibility of 100m or less... No flying... All lipo's charged and manualy discharged....
@iTuurke No, haven't found a replacement for it yet. The cheapest camera on the market today with the key features of this one is about $5K and I just don't have that amount of money to spare. Most of our income goes on just surviving and paying the doctors' bills for the wife.
@xjet Ahh the old GS500!! I had a GS400 for many years before something, which I can't remember, stopped working on it...probably due to the abuse an 18 year old gives a camera while out on his mountain bike. It was a great camera though. Good weight to it. Great functionality. They were the perfect size. I never liked the new cameras coming in and I still don't.
This could have been a lot worse. Great auto gyration until you lost the receiver power. Fence jumping technique needs a lot of work. May have been better to land on this side of the fencing. Luckily there was no expensive camera equipment on board. Please pass on the details of the post mortem.
Lucky guy, usually when the ESC melts down the entire thing goes up in flames, total loss, he was very lucky. It would have been a good idea for someone to take him a fire extinguisher, turned out he didn't need it this time, but if that ever happens again the pilot might not be so lucky.
Awesome heli! One of the very best saves ever seen, and btw excellent camera take. Too bad the triple-thumb-up button is missing on YT :-)

@magicmike1122 Am sure Bruce would be happy to do so as soon as you stop TROLLING & sign over your pay check into his bank account each month.
Methinks you maybe suffer from subscriber envy ........... man up & shut your gob eh m8.
You yanks all to often put your foot in it when you allow yourselves to speak.
Just because you can act like a 12 year old on YouTube is no reason to actually do so :)

That sure was a very good save indeed , Wayne did and excellent job of bringing it in, with no damage to heli other than what the lipo fire s caused

Wonderful save. Next time he should get a fuel powered chopper, lose the engine and it won't burst into flames.

the downside of slowing the shutter speed is that in case of a crash slow motion won't be nearly as spectacular :)

@xjet I heard your story about the health of your wife. Stunning to hear thing like that happen in modern times (do you live that remotely?)
If I had some money to spare....(I know your not getting rich from these lame remarks. Sorry.)
Again, keep up the good work (love your sense of humor btw...)
