accidents happen, because of bad drivers, not because of fleeing from stupid cops, they have nothing to do with this. Everyone hates cops and that's a given, but they have training and their cars are not stock, at least in US, that's the only reason they ever catch anyone. Go get yourself a mustang, G35, Z, any fast car, with a 50 dollar chip, take 2 classes of stunt driving and you can laugh at those morons tryin to catch you - make sure your gas is at full.

if a chase gets too dangerous, the cops have to decide whether or not to keep chasing.

Exactly...,although it's pretty difficult to make logical decisions like that when your mind is clouded by all of that adrenaline. When the cop kept doing the PIT maneuver (pursuit intervention technique) and spinning that car around several times almost sending him into the oncoming traffic lanes. That's a little too risky a maneuver to try, in my book.

its a last resort maneuver, it works, but the suspect car is supposed to end up right beside the cop car, if they do it wrong, thats where accidents happen with innocent civilians
