Well, if it doesn't work for you, try other methods. I actually ended up HATING the twist and rip method, and I'm four months into the natural/neglect dreads! So much better!~
ive been trying to dread my hair all night and none of the videos were helping but after watching yours i finally got it and it looks awesome! thanks :)
i did mine this way two days after this was upladed. they look terrible lol. on the ones you do have does it seem like there sliding out? like does it look like the dread is getting farther from your scalp?
The twist and rip dreads I have did not do that, but they might do it for you either because you have fine hair, or because you didn't do the roots tight enough. Put up a video :3
@Roses4evry1 i have a video up from when they were a week old, but i dont think the roots were like how i described in it. ill do another in 3 days for the one month and ill show the roots.
hey I made one yesterday (I'm a first time dready) ;P and since my hair is shorter I used this method but it turned out like crap -__- I might upload a video later of it but yeah. What do you do about the roots if they're loose? :0 I have that problem.
It's best to make the roots as tight as possible while you're making the dread., meaning that you'll have to pull super tight in the making. It makes your scalp a bit itchy for the first week or so, but it'll eventually go away.
does it make your hair any shorter?

@candacetravis1
Not nearly as much if you were to back comb or go natural, But if anything, it might shrink an inch or so. But I'm not sure

What method do you think is better for thin hair?
JahRootsism 5 months ago
@JahRootsism
Probably the natural way, which really is best for any hair type.
I quit all the false methods, and now I just do nothing to my hair! :o)
