  • Love hearing my Stepdad Bobby O's blues.......thanks....he was a good man.....he's forever tattoed on my thigh. I think of him every day.....thanks for the riffs! Bob was a good man save for his alcohol problem.....may he rest forever in peace.....

  • Love hearing my Stepdad Bobby O's blues.......thanks....he was a good man......

  • I'm coming to the Winter Blues' Festival in Echuca so wanted to check out your music. Especially love your cover of Little Wing.

  • @bluzebaby Thanks a lot!! BUT...thats the southern hemisphere "Andy Baylor" playing the festival you mentioned ...I'm the northern hemisphere Andy Baylor. You can tell the difference in the breeds from our coats.

I have a thick one, to deal with the cold weather. whereas your Andy Baylor has a lighter coat on top ...not as cold down there...no snow, ice, etc.

Either way , we make wonderful pets! Loyal and trustworthy. :-) Thanks again! ab

  • @AndyBaylor But!....the compliments were definately directed at your workmanship. And if you ever do come down under let me know. I will now have to take a look at the 'other' Andy Baylor....

  • That's really great tone and tasty playing, my man.

  • @BrownBrown90 Thank you for the kind words!

  • yeah, baby!

  • does this amp has the original trannies??

    thanks

    awsome tone

  • @plexilespaul Yes it does. Nik did a great job building the amp. He's great!

  • Great tone. Good playing. What's the problem? I know his problem! ssbmon396 has a TW Expression and can't figure out how to turn it on or how to get his guitar to play through it... Hint for you ssbmon396... Use a GUITAR CABLE and an AC POWER CORD, of course power cord to the amp and guitar cable to the guitar in case you can't figure that out either.

  • @AbraxasTribute Thanks man! Glad you like the tone and playing.

  • Great.

  • @libertalia1975 Thanks for the post!

  • hahaha.. nice:D

  • @HMHMHMHMHMHMHMHMHM Thanks a lot! :-)

  • Lovely tone with excellant smooth slow blues

    Very entertaining

    5*****

  • Thanks man! Thanks a lot.

  • beautifull feedback. can imagine why you hold that tone that long.

  • Thank You.

  • You need to work on your english.

    Spelling and context.

Because you sound like a complete idiot.

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

This is a tribute to a very dear friend.

    Nothing more.

    Thanks for the listen.

  • Me thinks the pictureless themanfilm

needs attention too...we all do sweetheart.

themanfilm, when you get a little older and your brain stops spinning you'll know exactly what I mean.

You will start to like yourself and stop lashing out at people.

  • So because he doesn't have a completely unique tone, just like a lot of the greats, he isn't an artist? Okay. . .

  • And just what are you doing? It looks like you're trolling on youtube instead of being an "artist".

  • Hi -cool man -nice guitar well play -greetings from germany-

    winfried

  • Bro ,at the end of your song the note went away just like a SPIRT?

But what i really need is a Ceriatone that gets me the sweetness of the two rocks punchy cleans and responsiveness ... any suggestions?

  • The Ceriatone Dumble clones are ecxcellent.

But for cleans, you can't beat a Fender design...so it's up to you. Good Luck

  • Are the Dumble clone cleans punchy like a lee jackson ampeg design or ? Your playing is ripping by the way and thanks for your attention and quick reply

  • Thanks for the compliment!

The ones I've played are very unforgiving in the cleans. You've gotta be an accurate player..but it's worth it cause they sound great.

The Star Gainstar 30 is another great clean amp.

  • Hey Bro, when you say unforgiving do you refer to Hiwatt stylie or...? I am looking at a Two Rock Onyx 100 watt combo(my bros) How do you like your two rock? Hope you've got time for all this?

  • found your commentary on two rock costs...this one would be 3kish or so

  • Man..I'm really glad your back!

  • hahahahaha....we missed u 2. the resurrection is now

  • Yes it is!

    BUT...don't EVER TYPE u 2 again!!!!

People might think you like U2...and I hope you don't. Really.

  • DUDE!!

Thought you got shot! Good to have you back!

  • go ahead on...

Awesome feel, sound, notes, and even backing track.

    love them last notes

  • Thanks man. Thanks a lot for listening!

  • Great feeling and nice sound!!!

  • Great stuff man!

  • Hey, Andy! Stumbled across your channel here. I can't tell you how many Clockwork gigs I went to back in the day. Mostly at Mabel's. I had more fun at those Mabel's gigs than all the concerts I went to over the years! Absolutely awesome!

My son is 14 now and playing guitar. I'll be sending him links to your stuff here so he can learn from one of the greats!

  • Thanks Jack! Thanks a bunch!

Thoses were fun times! I'm glad I got to live through em' !!

Thanks for the listen...and buy that kid a Les Paul when he gets good enough!

    AB

  • nice blues jam. so u r a fighting illini..jk.

i hate snows in the midwest..just too much

  • great feel dude!!

  • Thanks Bud!

    Thansk a bunch!

  • how does that ceriatone plexi feel/sound? im thinkin of buyin one.

im going to use it with a fender bandmaster

and jumper the channels of both amps to jumper them together

i think im gonna have a killer tone

  • Yeah...It's hard to dial in, but once you do...it rocks.

If you can, try a KLON in front of the Bandmaster

  • a what?

  • I donno...

  • Fine playing. BLues with some jazz inflections. In the Robben Ford genre, but all your own feel. Great tone by the way.

  • Thanks Gary Guitar! Thanks a bunch.

I'm just tryin to get the job done, you know? Just tryin to get it done! :)

    Thanks again-AB

  • I use a scientific method of gaging music: the hair on the back of my neck-o-meter. If it stands up--that means it moves me and it did. Is the 355 the 2006 reissue?

  • LOL!!

Thanks! Yes, it's the 06 Reissiue. Nice guitar.

  • Agree, five stars. IMHO rare to hear an HB pup blues tone that really sings on top of the fat harmonics, but you nail it sir. Peace

  • Thanks Man! Thanks a bunch.

  • 5 stars!

  • Thanks man! Thanks a bunch!

  • Andy, will this amp sustain forever? I am searching for the ultimate tone in an overdrive amp? I have finally discovered the Matchless Clubman 35 for cleans and sleight breakup. But I haven't found the right distortion. What do you think?

    Thanks!

  • Jetter Gain Stage Red. Put that infront of the Matchless, and you'll be golden. I'm using the Red and The Purple in front of a Fender Vibroverb, and it kills! It's perfect.

  • very enjoyable vid and what a nice sentiment towards your friend and your comment on his spirit....the feedback was like an old sign swinging in the wind...very beautiful....

    I like the background too.

    Great fun....good spirit.

  • Thank you for listening, and the kind words.

    AB

  • so do you have a blue screen behind you?

    nice video..great tone :)

  • Den fettesten Blueston den ich jeh gehört habe.

  • Any Chance to see you demoing the Ceriatone Overtone ?

    Have you try it ?

  • Great blues Andy,love that 335!

  • great playing and creaaaaaaaamy tone. :)

    I love that guitar!

  • i love that pleasing feedback at 0:37. This is great tone right here. Nice ES, bro. GREAT Phrasing and vibrato too.

  • Notice the bird in the background. Appears on his left shoulder about half way through the video, flies away and returns about the end, flying off the(stage)left side of screen,as if Bob had been there listening while he played and then left, like the spirit he said he felt as he finished the last notes of the song.Maybe he used that background purposefully? but the flight of the dark bird made it all the more meaningful.Jerri Hahs (comment-edited for size limit, made to me by my mom-Beth Oakes)

  • Yeah...I noticed that! It's a 2 minute clip I doubled for the length of the piece, but I didn't mean for THAT to happen! :) AB

  • I knew Bobby for many years and it was a shock to hear of his passing....I know that he is "doing the show" in heaven....

  • Yes he is!

He's goin...I need 5 more minutes to focus!!!

  • I have been so overwlemed by all the out reach and sympathy for our lose. My brother was quite a unique person and I was so proud of him. It warms my heart to know others knew and loved him the same way. It was so kind of you to do this special tribute in memory of Bobby. That last note in the blues piece brought me to tears. Thanks for all you've done. God bless all of you! Christine

  • Christine,

Thank you very much for the kind words. Your brother was a great person.

I will cherish our days of rocking the stages...we had a blast!

    As did many others.

    Andy Baylor

  • You are a gifted musician. Incredibly moving tribute to Bob. The previous comment was posted by my daughter. She was nuts about him as were my other daughters & my grandchildren. He was "Poppie" to the grandbabies. He was so gentle and patient with them. Volume 1 seems to capture both his gentle nature and his sad spirit. No wonder he was so crazy about you guys. Working with Clockwork was one of the favorite times of his life. Thanks for this. I know he is pleased. Beth Oakes

  • Hello there!

I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Yes, I am glad I had the chance to work with him.

His efforts with Clockwork helped greatly.

I am remembering a story where Bob and the rest of the crew hooked me up in a repelling harnass and let me repell down a building...at 3:00 in the morning.

    Crazy rock 'n rollers.

    Thanks for the kind words.

    -Andy Baylor

  • This is a comment made by my step father and my mother, both in their 80's I might add. Will also add a comment by my mother that wouldn't fit here with the limit on how much you can type in here. Thought you'd be pleased to hear them.

Beth Oakes Bill was impressed by the talent of the guitarist and we both were pleased by his love of Bob and his talents...and his adventuresome spirit. Rappelling down a building at

    3:00 a.m.? !

    Jerelyn & Bill Hahs, Bob's mother-in-law and father-in-law

  • That was awesome. I think Bob would have been shocked that he was so cared about! He's my stepdad and I miss him terribly!. ~Jillanna

  • Thank you very much.

    AB

  • Ceriatone sounds amazing on both clips. Great natural sound that is hard to find these days. Thanks for posting.

  • Thank you vey much! Thanks for taking the time to listen.

Great collection of vids on your page as well.

    Keep in touch-AB
