Jesus said, "People will hate you because you follow me" not "People will hate me because of you".
Wasn't it "Let your GOOD deeds so shine..."
If we kill and maim in Jesus name we should not wonder why the "world" does not believe".In the past we have been busy committing genocide and slavery in Jesus name - we drove out the "savages" with our "Godly" bullets, today, we invade Iraq and the "right" still calls it Godly.
It makes all the difference in the Spiritual world.

I am asking, did Jesus command us to CAUSE the end of the world?
One human dies every 3.5 seconds from hunger and hunger related disease, on a planet that raises enough food. WHY? Conservative based financial systems. We have relegated the southern hemisphere to unpayable debt (Africa pays 25,000 and hour in interest alone) through the IMF and the World Bank ... you ought to know the truth of your time.
Christians are the CAUSE.
