this is an example to humans. These gulls REALLY love their young, and as a species, will continue to survive for 100's of millions of years. The human species is like a flash in the pan compared to gulls, sorry to say. And I am human, wishing I was a gull

i spot the baby seagulls again at waterfront pier this morning....they are 90% fully grown...still have all gray feathers and make baby sounds...& guess what they have in the mouth?......starfish!.... they learn to be stubborn when they are young ^^
