This is for both parents. I am a single parent, I get my child support for my kids but it doesn't mean I couldn't be doing better for my kids than I do. I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't do drugs, but I might take myself out to eat and spend money I could be putting away for my kids. A lot of people think if they meet that day to day shit they doing alright, well how are you going to tell your kid who busted their ass getting grades they can't go to college when you could have done better?
I agree with the concept of child support as its stated, as well as by visual definition. I think most men genuinely try. But there are some gaping flaws in most child support and protective guidelines that do little to nothing to actually ensure children are properly cared for mutually, but does more to enhance the setback for supporting ones offspring. For the men who genuinely try, the struggle is mandatory until things change, so don't give up. For those men/women who don't, well, fuck you.
I know a dude who just got 3 years for back support on 6 kids. Fuck him, he can rot for all I care. My question to you is.....If the state (meaning us) is going to have to pay for those babies anyway, why should we also pay to house, feed, and clothe that deadbeat jerkoff too? Perhaps a more permanent solution is needed.

This is for both parents. I am a single parent, I get my child support for my kids but it doesn't mean I couldn't be doing better for my kids than I do. I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't do drugs, but I might take myself out to eat and spend money I could be putting away for my kids. I agree with the concept of child support as its stated, as well as by visual definition. I think most men genuinely try. But there are some gaping flaws in most child support and protective guidelines that do little to nothing to actually ensure children are properly cared for mutually, but does more to enhance the setback for supporting ones offspring. For the men who genuinely try, the struggle is mandatory until things change, so don't give up. For those men/women who don't, well, fuck you.

You probably know that in the American system (probably others too) that there isn't a blank amount of child support to be paid across all families. Often times these amounts are unreasonable. If child support is $1,500 a month but you are $100 short and you know that all your child needs is $500 a month, then you have every reason to be making all those excuses. Forced child support is a crime committed by the Stated. If the father doesn't support his child and the mother can't afford it, then take the child away and let the State raise it. I was raised by my mom who worked two jobs to make sure I had what I needed; not what I wanted. My dad was around some, but he wasn't "timely" with child support at all. When I was a kind, I wanted to be like my dad. Glad he didn't go to jail because I think that would have been the most negative thing to happen to me at a young age.

I say yeah take care of yours, but the child support system is a racket. It's just one more way the government sticks it to the people. And women that just go and have kids, get welfare and child support... I say STOP IT BITCH! I don't have kids because I know I can't afford even one I never see. I do have friends who's lives have been ruined by the child support racket. Really... $500 a month for a kid you never see and you only make $2000 a month? Then the mother gets a check for $250 a month?

True enough, Its takes $ to raise these kids but if the father doesn't pay he is issued a warrant and go's to jail! Meanwhile, the child is still missing a father!!! These kids dont care about the money, what they really want are two parents that love them and are involved in thier lives! My son's father doesnt pay, wont pay and would rather go to jail, then be in childs life! I've been solely responsible financially, emotionally, physically since day 1! The courts want $; the kids want PARENTS!

@frankylovesyall You act as if its "his" child only. Its her child too. Does the mother need cigs? Does she need alcohol? Does she need tv? Internet? Cell phone? You should actually work with both parents on what they dont need so they can put money aside for the kid from both parents.
