I tried it today from my iPhone 3GS to a friends iPhone 3GS. He can see me but I can't see him, my phone says no front camera detected. I'm running 4.0.1 and he is running 3.1.3. We tried multiple times over 3G and Wifi. Same problem. Any suggestions? And one more question is the video calling working on iPhone 3G?

I also called a friend from my 3GS on his evo4 and the video call worked two ways.

yeah but its supposibly a sdk error but no1 is complaining, this to skype out on 3g (at&t 3g coverage area) is actually good most of the time for call quality, but im next to the river so maybe its just me that has minimum bad call quality sometimes?

I used iptel & voipstunt and I;m able to receive calls through BOTH sips but not dial out.

It's misleading to tout the supposed great news that it's available for iPhone with emphasis on the video call. iphone users can install it yeah but they cannot use it! think about it! the camera is on the back of the phone. What good is this video call feature for iPhone users??? that is misleading because when you actually try it the person you call will not be able to see you. c'mon!
