  • Thank God we didn't have Fox News when Kennedy braught America together to put a man on the Moon. Thank God we didn't have f-n tea baggers calling FDR communist when we (against massive Republican protest in congress) got America together to defeat the Nazis. They would have called JFK a communist socialist just like they do with Obama. Fox sux! And besides great depressions, bank bailouts stock market crashes and phony wars what have Republicans done for us?

  • I love how he refers to tea partiers as "The Crazies" --It's called accurate reporting they ARE crazy. Tea bag nut job crazies.

  • wow how many people got attack ? right ed

  • this guy is a complete moron. he's proud to be with al "shifty" sharpton. if he listened to beck he would know that beck has said "...don't turn into them (the left)... that's what they want (violence)"... how does mslsd stay on the air with the idiots they have posing as journalists.

  • I love how he refers to the Tea Parties as "The Crazies".

  • Social justice has been distorted by progressives and socialists to the point that it does not even resemble the meaning preached by King.

  • @Sprinkl3Th3Magic Oh, is that what Glenn Beck told you? "We will place the problems of the poor at the seat of government of the wealthiest nation in the history of mankind. If that power refuses to acknowledge its debt to the poor, it would have failed to live up to its promise to insure "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness to its citizens" - Martin Luther King, Jr. Perhaps you should do some real research instead of blindly following whatever Fox News Corp. tells you to.

  • Special Ed.

  • Put on a red nose and flap your clown shoes. What an idiot this Ed guy is.

  • Hey, Ed! What did you say about that reporter moving next door to Palin so he could watch her children from the upstairs window like some kind of liberal paparazzi pervert.

WE'RE YOU SILENT, ED?! WE'RE YOU?!!!!!!

  • @ObamAtheist What liberal political organization endorsed stalking Palin's house? What public blog of what liberal political movement published her home address? It's completely different this is a reporter trying to get a story not a political movement trying to intimidate leaders with physical fear. It's a completely different thing. Nice try though.

  • HEY YOU IDIOTS! There were minorities. They were both speakers & attendees. Ed Schultz is weird.

  • Ed Schultz is the clown!

  • @TedVoron Ed Schultz is LYING. Liberal=Hate

  • Mr. Ed and Cenk are nothing more than flip floppers master of spin, both former republicans who could not make it as a republican. Republicans refused to listen to their garbage. Ed well know for his emotional sickness while trying to deal with a view he does not agree with for example Ed's latest blow up threating to burn down msnbc August 2010. Ed has been informed he will receive a pink slip should he not improve on his behavior.

Ed know for as a pro in media spin.

    Google these facts!

  • Ed Schultz is nothing but an ignorant buffoon. The term "Social Justice" has been hijacked by "progressive" democrats in this country as a way to promote redistribution of wealth... Clearly, NOT what MLK was advocating for... MLK was a devout Christian (and a Republican) that believed in true equality and espoused equal treatment under the law as established by our Constitution. Ed Schultz should really learn some history before he goes spouting off about things he is so clearly ignorant of.

  • Why were there no minorities at Becks "taking back the civil rights movement" rally?

  • @tristanmayfield... There were plenty of minorities at the rally... Both on stage (including MLK's niece Alveda King) and in the crowd of around 500,000 people. By the way, according to the U.S. Census, white people make up 79.6% of the U.S. population, Hispanics 15.8%, and blacks 12.9%. So, of course, most of the crowd of around 500,000 people at the rally would be white, but SO WHAT?! MLK's dream was that people be judged on the content of their character, not on the color of their skin.

  • If the Civil Rights movement were happening today, Beck would be using his media platform to demonize MLK, calling him a commie and an enemy of America...

  • @leeroynaggins You're a mind reader? How nice. NOT!!!

  • @leeroynaggins YES. the "conservatives" back then had MLK on a communist unamerican watch list. Civil rights leaders were regularly "red-bated" and called "communist" by right wingers --the Glenn Beck's of the day.

  • WOW! Is this guy for real? Glenn Beck a hate monger? Practice what you preach.

  • @xxxmailbin that is hilarious. Glenn beck has spun every one of his followers to the right so much with all the weak scare tactics and childish name calling (nazi's, socialists, marxist, anti american) that anything not spinning to the right it appears like everything else is spinning left. Stop watching all republican propaganda and you might learn that not all of the US is as brainwashed as the members in your party.

  • @JoeNoonan27 Another amazing fool, I bet you still believe in the tooth fairy looking for a free dollar from BIG government? What is hilarious (Ed Schultz show) the ratings prove this fact. Ed Schultz is great for people just like you, Ed needs you. Should you leave his side the Ed show may totally collapse. Let’s face it’, democrats destroyed our country with their sup prime loan mess, a few idiots like yourself still don’t understand.

Glenn Beck’s ratings crumble Ed Schultz.

  • Mr. Schultz has lost all credibility many years ago, nothing more than spin.

Recent spin tactics against Glenn Beck’s rally is classic Mr. Shultz playing the race card, a tactic democrats use over and over when their poll numbers tank or run for office.

The Ed show is nothing more than one hour of spin without fair balanced facts and is the reason for the shows failure, Glenn Becks ratings sky rocket into the millions.

Glenn Beck lives rent free in Ed Schultz fearful mind.

  • @xxxmailbin

I don't think you know what spin even is.. Spinning is when someone asks you a question and instead of answering it directly you avoid the question by turning it about something else.. No one is really asking him any questions.. what is he spinning? Balanced facts? are you kidding me? You watch faux news and talk about BALANCED FACTS!??!

  • @gdogg2000 In public relations, spin is a form of propaganda, achieved through providing an interpretation of an event or campaign to persuade public opinion in favor or against a certain organization or public figure. While traditional public relations may also rely on creative presentation of the facts, "spin" often, though not always, implies disingenuous, deceptive and/or highly manipulative tactics.

Your ignorance, the one single reason for your failure. Ed Schultz low ratings.

  • Reading these comments I see alot of folks just don't get. I know the right doesn't get it and the left some of them do but they don't stand of for themselves.

  • I wish a tea party would come to my house I would pratice my second amendment rights on those motherfuckers

  • he connects beck with the tea party which then somehow links him to a tea party in Maine listing DC home addresses - that is quite a stretch!

  • Ed, YOU are traveling down the road to irrelevance.

Listen to the message, not the messenger. If it helps, place Obama's, Sean Penn's or Hugo Chavez's face on Glenn Beck.

Now, listen to what's being said.

Can you see the honesty? Can you see the truth? Can you see the honor that he's trying us to aspire toward? Something our president should be - inspiring.

But all you see is thru the green lens of jealously and hate.

Beck can bring together different faiths, you not so much : (

  • Shame on Ed Schultz for bearing false witness against Beck. Ed Schultz should be honest with himself, and the veiwers of his program.

  • @macdogq

"Bearing false witness?" is this somehow implying you view Beck as your God or similar in some way?? if so.. ... there is no hope

  • @macdogq You are sooooooo far off.

  • MLK was about "NON-VIOLENCE". the rally "SUPPORTS OUR TROOPS"...a.k.a.WAR

    WWJD???

  • seriously that rally had nothing to do about racism, had nothing to do about obama, infact i dont think i heard beck talk about obama at all. saying that they are all racist is a cop-out...this was a rally about religion and supporting our troops

  • Wow!!it's quite sad..the devil is among us and has infiltrated America..

    All hail the mighty dollar...

This country is on a downward spiral to hell.....

  • Yellow journalism at its best. Lots of money to be made here, in this country... before it goes tits-up. Lots of wallets to be pilfered still. Lots of opportunity for the amoral. Beck and his employers will not let any potential sucker escape.

  • I don't really understand why Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin & the Teabaggers are going to the MLK rally ! they are trying to distort MLK's Dream with rightwinger Nazi propaganda ! They are Wolves in heep's clothing ! i hope the Teabaggers don't Bring there "Nigger" signs ! i hate all of those racist bastards !!! burn in Hell !!!

  • Ed Schultz is famous for his bait and switch tactics on all the hot-stove issues that face our country today. But what's disappointing in this post is that just as he's actually making some sense about Beck maybe misrepresenting a hero like Dr. Martin Luther King, he totally trashes his credibility by mentioning the greatest race baiter of all time next to Jesse Jackson: Al Sharpton, the man who is most famous for his own shady racial tactics...Like Tawana Brawley and his lack of repentance!

  • It only took Ed 57 seconds to make the reflexive Nazi reference.

Predictable, and completely discrediting to whatever he had to say.

  • ED is an idiot

  • @super16g123 its not sarah palin's tea party. that silly bitch only infiltrated it. as did beck

  • Yes Glenn, the communists were left and the nazis were right. That is a historical fact you dribbling, ranting, brainless fucktard.

  • @DaHonestAbe Not if you put them on a scale ranging from little gov't control to complete gov't control -- which is what Beck did. But you didn't see that part. So attacking him for something he said, when you don't know the context, is wrong to do.

  • @InvestigatorDave Actually yes I did. And it was horribly inaccurate. I watched that entire segment when he did it. I also have studied fascism fairly extensively. I know its tennants and its economics. Beck knows nothing on either subject. He's getting his info from Jonah Goldberg's book that has been widely discredited by scholars who have studied the subject for decades. Even in context, Glenn has no damn clue what the hell he's talking about.

  • @DaHonestAbe So you are saying that both the Communist and the Nazis (fascist) DID NOT go for total gov't control? If so, you did not study facsism extensively enough, because they sure did do that.

  • @InvestigatorDave Communists did do total gov't control. The Nazis however collaborated with big business to create a corporatist state. In the 1930's there was a series of mass privatization where state owned firms were turned to private hands as well as many solvent state owned industries. In Italy between 1922-25 there was the same mass privatization of state owned firms and solvent state industries. Stop listening to Beck and do some real research. Try Robert Paxton or Emilio Gentile.

  • @InvestigatorDave you don't understand the State, especially not from the Marxist perspective.

a socialist state is "total government control," but sense the people are the government, its just mass democracy. on top of that, only those who work to produce are allowed to participate in government, therefore if you simply own productive property you would be disenfranchised, and considering how the bourgeois have been running society for the last 300 years i can't say im sad to see them go

  • @DaHonestAbe communist are a small minority of liberals They are the so called progressive labor party. I am a liberal and I don't consider them progressive. I don't support communism. I prefer democratic socialism.

  • @imaginepeace63 Gotta be honest, I'm still trying to understand the concept of democratic socialism. Not saying its bad, though.

  • @DaHonestAbe I believe it is government actions that benefits the people. do a video search of Bernie Sanders + socialism for better clarification. There might be a video that shows him explaining what it is since he believes in it. It is simialr to the government in Denmark or Norway.

  • i guess schultz is ignorant of the fact that dr.alveda king is going to be a speaker at becks rally. does schulz think she is what..racist a self loathing black person?

  • @jhamm999 I guess you ignorant of the fact that Coretta King amd Martin were liberals. Martin was accused of being a communist. He advocated for democratic socialism.

  • @imaginepeace63 you are wasting your time those rightwing Nazis always lie about the facts about MLK. so Fuck them all !!! i have read all your comments. they are great comment , with real facts behind them !

  • @imaginepeace63 well mlk was a registered republican. and about the part of his speech that says to judge a person on the content of their character and not the color of his skin? that is right out of the conservative playbook. as in being agaist race based affirmative action.

  • @jhamm999 Do conservatives judge gays on character? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do conservatives judge muslims on character? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are full of BULLSHIT YOU TROLL!!! GO F OFF!!!

  • @imaginepeace63 yes we do,you brainless twit. it is the liberals who group people together and expect them to act alike. some calling clarence thomas a uncle tom, because he was conservative. just because i popped your little balloon don't go running off and crying like a six year old. even though you have demonstrated it by showing the depth of your intellect. which is about as deep as a thimble full of water.

  • get pictures of the nuts who show up at their houses, then you'll know who to investigate for past or future hate crimes!

beck is mentally ill, he belongs in a mental institution but until he directly murders someone or is directly connected to a crime he will be free not only spew his bigotry hate & insanity like we all are, but he'll be given a platform by a corporation who doesn't give a damn about truth, justice, fairness, compassion, Democracy or America!

  • Its funny how the "stupid" plays right into Becks hands. His propagandis march on Washington is going to be nothing more than a large mass of middle-aged and old white people who have been convinced by rich white men that they're somehow a victim.

  • I don't believe that banner ever exited Beck, philosophically or literally, but is this a concession that the system you advocate is not socially or economically justifiable, or democratic, and is not in the interest of workers? And surfer, the problem is this : racism, and class inequality along racial lines, did not end with MLK. This is a classic tactic of conservatives, although moreso in places like Europe or Canada: allow the oppressed to convert some constituent power into constituted

  • @yohaneuano4 power, before backing down (the end of history, the third way, meritocracy, whatever you want to call it has been "attained"). Hence why, when slavery ended in the US, further civil rights didn't follow in subsequent conservative governments, or why welfare states, gained through trade unions, did not convert into workers' power in Europe after they had been constituted.

  • Ed Himmler Schultz is so full of shit, his eyes are brown.

  • @ReddNeckerson what a brilliant response! Can you count past twenty without dropping your pants?

  • America is to full of freedom of for Beck.

  • glenn beck is distorting reality ...

  • Glenn is a money cow, and all you beck lemmings, are just headed for a cliff. Glenn is pushing what he believes, and he doesnt care how it effects people, he litteraly thinks he is doing the right thing ..ROFL. "I wouldn't be surprised if he has a god complex"

  • No politician or ideology can claim Dr. King's dream for themselves or itself - let's get that straight. And the only people hijacking the Dream it seems to me is the Democratic Party, who charge racism if you're not for reparations or redistributive change. As for Beck, I reserve the right after 8/28 to determine what he's all about. But it's clear by saying Beck can't celebrate King's legacy, it's others who are making this political. Right then, let's start the name-calling.

  • @surfer53 your a dick so is Beck

  • @rickbar123 You guys are like clockwork, I tell ya. I'm a very liberal person and a Canadian, but I like to keep an open mind about everything just in case I'm wrong. That's what we're supposed to be in Canada - open-minded. The problem is, all the people who taught me to be open minded are the same ones now into name-calling and refusing to discuss important issues. Have I landed in the Twilight Zone? I'll say the same thing to the Right - what if the other side is right about something?

  • @surfer53 The Right is never right.

  • @surfer53 What issues are they refusing to discuss and what might "the other side" be right about?

  • @rickbar123 What, you don't want to talk, have coffee, maybe a few beers before you make that kind of decision? No?

  • @surfer53 As a fellow Canadian, I'd just like to point out a few things. For one, Obama has escalated the war in Afghanistan, this is something he ran on. Yet he's being protested by teabaggers for it. They never protested when George Bush did the same things.

Obama's "health care reform" was nothing but a gift to health insurance companies, and he made deals with pharmaceuticals that caved into them. He did everything Bush did, and he's being protested for it.

  • @EziekielNightwind He's accused of adding to the debt and deficit, and is being protested for it, but when Bush did the EXACT same thing, and turned a surplus that was on track to eliminate the debt by 2012, they didn't raise a peep.

So now, in most respects and on big issues, Obama is no different from Bush. They're both conservative leaders from right wing conservative parties. But what's their major difference? Why is one accused of being, AT ONE TIME, a radical muslim, and a white hating con

  • @EziekielNightwind You're absolutely right. But I was one of the guys who got it from both sides. If I criticized the previous administration, I'd get it from my own family. If I said, be careful what you wish for about Obama, everyone else said I was crazy or racist. I guess being in trouble with everyone equally is a good place to be. Lonely, though. The way I look at the current situation is that you had 8 rotten years, and this guy comes in promising to change things and does nothing.
