Personally, I kinda wish DMC would have gone back to a more horror direction like dmc1....the rest went with more over the top action approach...DMC1 still had action, but it felt more "down to earth" so to speak lol...idk why but DMC1 really freaked me out when I first played, it was really creepy with the gothic architecture and enemies that none of the others were able to repeat(maybe dmc2, but it sucked so no)....but that's just me

Ok Dante is 15 in this game and as you progress the story he "Grows" into the dante we all love and are crazy about but the only real worry I have is the weapons because what the fuck is that he has and where did it come from? I thought it was sparda at first but it can't be.

People need to understand this isn't "Devil May Cry 5" it's a prequel to the first devil may Cry, hence why he looks a lot younger, shorter hair, Ect. I think it looks good and will probably help with the story in DMC 5 when it comes out in a few years.

I think the gameplay looks okay but they didn't have to ruin my favourite video game character of all time. People need to understand this isn't "Devil May Cry 5" it's a prequel to the first devil may Cry, hence why he looks a lot younger, shorter hair, Ect. I think it looks good and will probably help with the story in DMC 5 when it comes out in a few years.

If you buy games, it's because the gameplay and storyline is fun. It's not because it follows that and that and that and that...
My point is, They wanted to change a bit, so we, maybe, could refresh a bit for DMC5. Who knows.

And we've seen what happened when Capcom gives a franchise to a different company. Take a look at DMC2. A lot of people were probably excited over the franchise when it first came out, however people were disappointed and the game sucked.

I think the gameplay looks okay but they didn't have to ruin my favourite video game character of all time.
