  • I was always an Olbermann fan (still am, think he rocks). It blew me away though when I learned his mother had his testicles removed when he was still a toddler. Later, prior to his broadcasting career, he had massive infusions of testosterone replcement therapy to restore his voice to the post-prepubescent level (and requires it to this day).

  • you are the best

  • Olbermann OWNS. This comment is excellent. We need more though!

  • I think Olbermann is correct on this issue and I am glad to see him calling Obama on this decision. I wonder why Obama made the decision not to go after the Bush Admin. Do they have something on him? Now the Democrats can no longer claim they are any better than the Republicans on this issue since they let it go and allowed it to happen. Terrible decision.

  • Gosh I just don't get it....Keith mentions all the mistakes from decades ago, but then, at 2:52 he completely skips the corruption of the 90's and talks about the Iraq war. Golly, how could Keith, this fair journalist, miss such a thing??? What a transparent ,miserable HACK!!!!!!

  • McCain lost, get over it people.

  • Keith, you normally annoy me, but you're right on with this.

  • im shocked lol msnbc is admitting that obama is another puppet. Keith Olbermann is true american unlike that glenn beck lying ass he blames it all on bush when obama is president

  • All you MORONIC TEA BAGGERS & RIGHT WING REEETARDS are a BUNCH of FRUITCAKES & IDIOTS! You put NUMB NUTS (bush) in for 2 terms as he ran our country into the ground. Where was your outrage then??? Face it, ALL you RIGHT WING WHACKO REPUBLICAN REEEEETARDS are basically THIRD RATE FUCK UPS! Just like your big hero bush! The ABSOLUTE WORST, MOST CORRUPT & INCOMPETENT PRESIDENT EVER! So keep CRYING THE FUCKING BLUES! I guess you should have done a better job when you were in charge for 8 years.

  • This is true. I voted for Obama but am EXTREMELY ANGERED & DISAPPOINTED that Obama cannot do the difficult task to hold in bush & the rest responsible. There needs to be an investigation. I think Obama can be a good president. He will NEVER be a great president however, if he looks the other way, like he is doing now. The average joe would be thrown in prison for the crimes that are being discussed, NO ONE is ABOVE THE LAW. I really wanted Kuchinich for pres he IS the only one with any balls!

  • Where is your outrage Keith about the President allowing phone companies "off the hook" pun intended.

Where is your outrage that in under 4 months has almost caught up to the "Bush Administrations" total spending over 8 years?

Where is your outrage that this President bows to a Saudi "king"

Protect our children? He's assigned them to inescapable slavery by taxation and continues to do so.

Your history, where the hell did you go to school? lemme guess, an Ivy league University.

  • secertIDIOT ... How long have you been a TOTAL FUCKING MORON????

  • SecretMORON

TYPICAL DUMB ASS, RIGHT WING, REEETARD, WHACKO, REPUBLICAN, NEO-CON MORON! WOW! I guess your STILL CRYING THE FUCKING BLUES & BAWLING LIKE A BABY in SHITTY DIAPERS from the WELL DESERVED, LONG OVER DUE SPANKING your DUMB ASS got on Nov 4 You ASSHOLE REPUBLICAN REETARDS should have done a better job whhen you were in charge for 8 years! Of course, ALL you republicans are TOTAL FUCK UPS ... so now we're (the intelligent people ... you excluded) have our country back! Later FRUITLOOP!

  • Countdown to no ratings Keith Overbite.

  • Hahaha! What a left wing freak!!! I wonder what's going to happen when we get atacked after the inteligence community gets their hands all tied up...no wonder no one watches this leftard...

  • Like I know anything. I just babble for babble sake. Even I can't listen to my crap and pay attention to it. ARE YOU PEOPLE STILL LISTENING? Pssssst ... I don't even write these lies, and I don't preread them. Otherwise I could not do them with this great enthusiasm. I usually just picture a naked Barney Frank and then I babble ahead.

  • Good speech by Olbermann. It would have been nice to see the Bush Admin and others responsible for illegally torturing prisoners get prosecuted. I think this is a mistake by Obama, I think this is a mistake that rocks even his own followers. I thought Obama was trying to set an example. This is sad news. I hope Obama isn't going soft.

  • Comment removed

  • If he finds it "divisive" to order the prosecution of torturers (as is the duty of any signatory to the Torture Convention), that is one thing. Quite another thing is to try and prevent anyone else from doing so.

  • that was one hell of a speech, bravo. and its exactly the point ive been making for years regarding torture: history does not only record who wins, but the manner in which it was won!

  • Hummmm, I thought all my viewers were stupid. You are the King of My Stupid Viewers!!!

  • It's funny and yet disturbing to see another American not understanding the roots of WOII and fascism in Europe and meanwhile talk about justice... The rest was right on the spot

  • Also, in contrast to Obama's campaign rhetoric, unlawful wiretapping continues as well. I think I've been duped.

  • Olbermann speaks for Olbermann and Olbermann alone.

  • Something that will stain Obama. He needed to prosecute those who commited crimes. He has failed and this will damage him. in He either chickened out or doesnt believe in what he said before.

  • Shouldn't the lefties have their own Rush?

  • I believe Olberman is right, we must make an example of them or this will never stop...

  • President Obama is right. A mirror image of "our long national nightmare is over" said by President Ford when taking office; and of President Lincoln's 2nd Inaugural where he offered conciliatory overtones to the South. It's easy to say prosecute President Bush and his conspirators. President Obama took the highroad like his predecessors. Think about it, would anyone in the Bush administration be convicted? The answer is no after a protracted trial costing millions more in tax payer dollars.

  • Although I don't agree with him on the arguements of civil war and slavery,I still think Olberman' conclusion is right that in this case Obama is totally wrong.

Obama don't have the guts to prosecute Bush and his colleges.

  • watch?v=cWEEWteEm3I&feature=channel_page

  • Olbermann is the voice of reason.

  • Ron Paul was, is and shall be the answer...Otherwise keep on complaining...over and over again.

  • The right-wing commentators on YouTube are working extra hard spewing the hatred and fear-mongering because they know their party's sunk.

Were you funboys licking on Glenn Beck's teabag this past Wednesday or what?

  • "Were you funboys licking on Glenn Beck's teabag this past Wednesday or what?"

Please, the teabaggers were huffing Beck's taint.

  • you are so right, and im glad to see someone else say it,

seems like im seeing a shitload of hatred and fear mongering on youtube, starting to think thats the public's mood, hoping your right, just the right resorting to youtube bitching.

  • It is so satisfying that Mr. Olbermann always voices what I want to say publicly. I, too, have been a strong Obama supporter, but I regret just as strongly that he has not taken steps to bring to justice those who ignored our laws and morality. It has also been proved that torture gained NO HELPFUL INFORMATION.

  • olberman is an idiot along with all the other super-liberal short-sided bastards at msnbc political news. as obama is releasing criminals from guantanamo bay they go back to their hiding spots about the world and hinder the noble efforts of the United States to provide freedom for everyone. hey mr. olberman: do you think al qaeda would torture innocent americans? the u.s. needs to grow some balls and fight back. there willbe no peace if we keep babying these criminals

  • what? the US are fighting for freedom?

Must have gotten something wrong then, cause I thought they're fighting to destroy freedom worldwide, and your sorry-ass prez has been working for international banking syndicates for ages.

Now they have stolen most of what you got and stood for, and you still cant see it :)

If most american people are so dumb like you, they deserve being destroyed by the bankers.

    wont take long anyway.

listen to the best talk radio show: Infowars. com

  • You know it all, don't you?

  • So basically you're suggesting that we become just as bad as the terrorists? Good job.

  • There are no terrorists. Only CIA assets. you obviously know nothing about covert operations or how the US 'actually" operates. Not what you see on the boob tube. Open a book and realize that radical islamic "terrorism" is simply a CIA controlled false enemy to keep the US geopolitical strategy of the middle east alive....and to tkeep the american people dumb enough to live in fear to give up all our rights. You sir, are extremely naive. You suck the kool aid just the way they want you to.. :-(

  • "Criminals" you say. You contradict the Bush administration who NEVER CHARGED THEM WITH ANYTHING, because they couldn't invent anything that would stick, even with its own military.

"efforts to provide freedom for everyone" ...you evidently live on a house in a street in Disneyworld.

  • God Bless Keith for this.

  • If I where take some one prisoner, slap them, beat them, starve them, and abuse them; I would go to prison. So what is being said with this is that Bush and his boys are above the law. Obama is a puppet too. I honestly think the we should just take these people out, touture them shoot them when its over. Lets start with the Bilderbergs and Bush.

  • Can't say I agree with that @ all.

  • Middle finger up to all you gimps who think Keith Olbermann is merely an Obama brown noser. Keith is a proper social commentator who isnt afraid to criticise even those he supports.

Republicans and Right wing supporters/ reporters (i.e. everyone at Fox Noise) take note. This is political commentary for the people, of the people and BY THE PEOPLE!

I like Obama but I have to agree with Olbermann on thi issue. The preseident needs to prosecute the bush administartion today.

  • UlriQ: he may not be brownnosing obama but he is certainly brown-nosing liberals even further. olberman here has succeeded in doing something i thought impossible: being more liberal than obama.

  • He's not 'brown-nosing liberals', he is a liberal and he's speaking his mind.

    Welcome to freedom of speech.
