I second that. The flaw with "woe is me" metal like DT is, in excess, it can weaken you mentally, since it's an (albeit beautiful) expression of weakness. Gore metal has such inhuman lyrics that no one except sociopaths are evil enough to relate to them, so the lyrics, and consequently the music, become a mere novelty, taking away from the genre's emotional power. Amon Amarth's music is the perfect mix. It's empowering, but it's extremely human. It doesn't sacrifice one for the other.
