@CoolDudeClem The jukebox is from 1946 and the recording from 1928. The machine plays 20 records, single side only. The machine came with 20 records, but they were all from around 1949 or so. My goal is to provide a broad spectrum of selections representing what was popular in the 20's through maybe the early 50's. Earlier acoustical 78 records sound lousy on it, and I don't really like 50's Doo-Wop or Rock N' Roll. Luckily, there is no "thump thump" music on 78's to worry about! :P
@danielmkubacki I don't think this unit ever had a color wheel, but as you can see it does have an illuminated door option which seems to be uncommon on a 1946 model.
I did buy the repro kit to add the color wheel to the dome... I just haven't gotten around to assembling and installing it yet. Thanks!
Nice song, and really nice jukebox! What year is it from? I also like this kind of music, I hate today's generic overused "thump thump thump thump"
