on my windows machine blob+texture and shader run terribly (or crash), but on another computer it's fine. the windows version is just crappy and really specific to drivers & particular graphics card. my only suggestion is just make sure your drivers are up-to-date, or try it on a different computer.

i downloaded OE cake but whenever i try to run it my computer sounds like it's going to explode and i get about 0.2fps (my computer is not slow, i can run world of warcraft and guildwars at the same time with no lag)

if it's a windows computer, i ran into this too on my work vista pc... just run it in CIRCLES mode and it'll fly. also the video is 2x speed, it's very processor-intensive!
