there is no online in phantasy star portable actually.its ad-hoc mode only so as in playing with people close to you.so that kinda sucks...but.....Phantasy star portable 2 is gonna have online play :D

Once i get my dissidia psp on aug 25 im buying this game as well. I will play online with anyone huge Phantasy star vet lol i gotta get this one lol. I played ep 1 and 2 up to level 103 and i played a bit of universe would love to play this with some folks ^_^

Well, it says "online" when you choose the option. Turns out US version is online but local only. Which I guess means Local play. I was waiting a while before I figured out why no one was joining my game. (x_X)

no, it also has a "single Player", but It's the same thing as playing online alone.

uh.....if you have like 10 upgrade grinders you can upgrade a weapon 10 times......

Oh wait, what I meant was the levels of the weapon's special attack. Like Dus Daggas for the Spears, or the Tornado Break for the Heavy Blades.

I connected online but I added cpu party members because no one was joining my game and I wasn't finding any games. So, I figured it was something wrong with the server. I figured it was online because it acts like it is. It connects to my wi-fi and never said anything about it being local. No instructions. I guess that's why I never found anyone else. That sucks. I'll correct it to say local online gameplay. Thx for correcting me. (T_T)

Why so gullible the game is not online sorry I wanted it 2 be online but it is only Ad hoc only. He is using the NPC's parnter cards as teammates
