well i watched but this guy looking for Jesus sure as Hell Didn't LEARN anything. When he can be with OCCUPPIED Palestianians and make EXCUSES for the IsraHELL OCCUPIERS well Jesus' MESSAGE FAILED to get through. Sure those BASTARDS "FEARED" for their SAFETY LMAO sure MACHINE Guns are Needed to PROTECT from STONES. You Learned NOTHING ,but you sure are Good at PROMOTING the "POOR JEW" Victim.
nice documentary... ( i watched them all 11 and gave an interesting view to the live of the so called Jesus. A pitty the makers din't talk about the theory of by Michael Baigent, Richard Leigh, and Henry Lincoln about the holy blood and the holy grail
Wow, it's 2 am and I just finished watching the entire series, and it was amazing. Very eye opening because no one society or religion has all the answers. Instead of fighting over who's right or wrong, we should learn from each other's ideas or beliefs instead of purely rejecting an ideology because it's different.
This was a very good documentary. But did anyone notice that the Coptic woman to whom Dr Beckford spoke about the Gnostic gospels almost seemed to think that they were dangerous? Honestly, given the way matters are going in Egypt these days, I fear for the safety of those ancient Gnostic texts.
@crucisnh Good point! I noticed her reaction as well. It's interesting how people, even a highly educated person, can not accept an idea that goes against their beliefs. It's like they shut down and are unwilling to even consider something different than what they were taught. No one has all the answers, and we are still trying to put the pieces together.
@HotChixRock Thx for the reply. I don't even care if they "accept" the idea. But for this Coptic woman to see the Gnostic gospels as "dangerous" is ridiculous IMHO. I've said it elsewhere in YT comments on similar clips that I think that heresy is a joke. Heresy is nothing but a difference of opinion on theological matters. And yet in centuries past, religious people seem to think that not agreeing with the orthodox view warrants death?!?! (to be continued)
@HotChixRock How is that not hypocritical when one of Jesus' underlying messages seems to have been tolerance? Just look at current times when we have different Xtian denominations charging each other with not being "real" Xtians which is just another way of saying that they're heretics. Whatever happened to tolerance? And why not just be tolerant and let God (if there is one) decide who's right and wrong? Who knows? Maybe God isn't worrying about these little details?
from this i can accept the theory as a fact that jesus probably existed but he probably was just a guru the main thing about jesus was like buddha his teaching were what was suppose to go to the world but to make him look like god they added his birth, ressurecttion etc from older figures to make him look divine
You are so right! It does not matter the dogma nor the differing views of who and/or what Jesus is but, instead, what matters is the teachings of Jesus; his message.
A fascinating series and a clear message about the teachings of Jesus, and put plainly within the context of the Quran. May we all learn and benefit from these universal teachings. Love & Peace be with you all.
@Vittoria10538 why would you want to do that hinduism, buddhis, jainism, sikhism are all one we are really the same thing hinduism or santana dharma was orginal then buddha took teachings from it and made it buddhism then jainism came then sikhism came
First, I am a muslim man. thanks a lot for this great effort. Second, I think if Jesus "Eisa" is among us now he will stand beside the suffering people in Palistine, And this is our thought that the God "Allah" will send him back to us while he didn't die in fact. So the God prepare the world for this moment by showing the suffering of our people in palistine while all the power states of world stand in israeli occupation forces. So who can faces all these powers but God "Allah".
All the prophets had opponents and so did the last prophet Mohammad ,and those opponents are companion of Satan,They have been trying every thing to discredit the true and Last Prophet but still people of good conscience are embarrassing Islam and abandoning the the distorted and illogical believes.
This video does not discredit Jesus (peace be upon him) rather explain how true message and purpose of him was distorted .Quran removed all the falsehood and revived the original message.
I heard a story witch fits here: There were two students of a religion/ philosophy who were arguing about one issue, one page on the holy script. They could not get an agreement and they turn to the "master" to ask his advice, who had right on this matter. The master told them to rip of the page from the holy book, because it was more an act of love to rip the page out than to arguing who has right.
I love the work you have done Dr Robert B with this film. You took of the clothes of judgment and concepts from one and only message: love. It does not matter what we called it. It is "same same, different package" and we like different packages in all sort of things: music, candies, phones, home etc. We are talking about the same thing. This take away the drama in all religion (that we put there), but maybe we like the drama;-)
I used to be a Christian Aplogetic, but something kinda inhibited my progress;common sense. I could not deny the evidence I found of certain things anymore than I could deny the mid-day sky is blue. Faith is the sub. of things hoped for and evd. of things not seen, so, by its very deffinition brings forth things but can not negate proven actuality. I believe in actuality and I am skeptical of probablity. To me God does not seem to exist beyond the imagination. Miracles are based on perspetive
First of all, Jesus quoted Psalm 22:1 which begins with, "My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?". Jesus quoted this Psalm in order to draw attention to it and the fact that He was fulfilling it there on the cross. Consider verses 11-18 in Psalm 22:
Exactly ..this is what Quran tells us about original message of Almighty .Quran tells names of some previous prophets who could be recognized by the people of that time but Quran claims more or less one hundered and twenty four prophets in different times, regions and nation have come and their message was the same, this is why we see many similarities but as this research prove that the original message was tempered with, meaning lot of false was added and good was removed by the evil forces...
@azamjaved I think you missed the point of the video. If a video of the real Muhammad was made, No reasoning person could accept him as a good human being.
This was a stupendous series! I've enjoyed watching so much. Thank you! :)
