@Kilicka123 Depends on what you mean by USING the larynx. If by USING, you mean keeping it as low as possible, then yes,you should do that. If you mean raising the larynx to help you get to higher notes, for your own voice's sake, DON'T EVER DO THAT! You need to teach the larynx to stay as LOW as possible during the time that you're singing. Practice doing nay-nay-nay's to a song that you have problems with...Do the nay-nay's to every note of it, then slowly come back to regular singing with words
@megacogeta I partly agree with you. don't raise the larynx but also not as low as possible. you should keep it at an even and relaxed level so that you are neither crushing it or stretching it yeah?
this is a joke!!throat is not a muscle, it cannot "stretch", it's like those spots "enlarge your penis" it's not possible, your penis and your throat will always be like your mom made them!!
Ohhh my, you may actually cause damage doing this, run Jeff RUN! By the way - if you are using correct technique your voice will NEVER overtire from singing. Maybe from talking, but NEVER from singing.

HAHAHA what a bullshit teacher. You're not supposed to use the larynx for singing. That's the exact opposite of what you want.
HeyJimmyDeannn 1 year ago
@HeyJimmyDeannn ummm that's not true. you DO want to use your larynx and avoid singing from your throat.

Run. Fast. Put your money back in your pocket.

this guy needs some serious pitch training - he's constantly flat the whole exercise. There's a reason for this which she isn't correcting.
