  • you need to get yugo 7.62 with black and red tip

  • Awesome. I modded my SKS. Nothing too crazy. Tell me what ya think!

  • what's the song??

  • whats your takes and thoughts on a 7.62x39 taking down something like a moose or a brown bear from anywhere up to 400 yards? and what 7.62x39 would be the better brand for big game hunting? thanks

  • @123VampireSucks There are much better calibers to use.

  • My 14 year old friend has this gun it's awesome

  • I'd like to see a 5.56mm do that. :P

  • @S1ayerofLegions M855. There should be quite a few videos of it.

  • did you see the jacket fly at around 0:38 ?? priddy cool

  • @arnoldsquashbuckles

Considering you can see oxidization around the bullet-holes, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say no, it's fucking steel. Which is why the vid is titled "SKS 7.62x39 bullets Punching through Steel Plate in Slo-Mo". Go figure.

  • There's something really special in the looks of SKS. It's like a hybrid of AK and M1 Garand :D

  • THAT is what I'd call modern art. Make some bullshit pseudo-philosophical blurb about how it represents man's desire for security and the violence of the world around him and then sell it to an art museum!

  • @LupisLupine That represent pure power.

  • Shot it this summer in Ukrain great rifle.

  • In movies they hide behind car doors and tables

  • WHO NEEDS DRILLS WENE YOU HAVE A RIFFLE

  • damn-!

  • 0:02 hickok45 style

  • @42105 haha i swore it was him

  • Wow, look at the size of those holes! THAT is some real stopping power!

  • @LetUsCoExist I woukldnt bet on it if its chinese or Ruski 7.62 ammo as they use steel jackets and sometimes steel cores.

  • did some shooting today with an sks an it punch throught 3/8'' plate and almost 1/2'' with steel bullet

  • ok wht kinda steel is it? sure looks like alu to me also

  • @nolifemerc It is mild steel, (some call carbon steel). It was painted white to make it more visible to the camera in high speed.

  • @nolifemerc SKS can put a hole into a railroad steel it all depends on what kind of bullets you are using on it.

  • @MithunaOun Yes i was shotting with SKS and K98 through the railroad steel. That can do any caliber strong as 5,56 NATO,7,62/39 or stronger rifle calibers but that must be military pancir bullets with stell inside the bullet.

  • That's fucking crazy. I just got an SKS and I didn't even realize it was this powerful.

  • r they legal in canada? [prob not]

  • @Scamullis LOL they allow guns in canada? Stick to your airsoft kid

  • @damiion666 Umm yeah they allow them in Canada dumb fuck

  • @damiion666

Canada even allows a lot of Russian/Chinese imports the states do not. For the price of an SKS here, they can pick up an SVT-40, or even a Chinese clone M-14.

  • @AngPur The Norinco M305's are a damn good buy for the money. A military friend used one a few years ago for a 1000 yrd shoot on a range and done very well. Not bad considering as they run chrome bores and chambers, gas pistons like the SKS and AK. So you can shoot bloody near anything through it without to much worry.

  • k mala punteris??

  • bad ass!

  • Damn, I keep coming across your vidjas when I look for random stuff, lol

  • @MegaGevehr Did you see the video where we put zippo flints on the tips of 7.62x39 yet? You'll probably dig that one. lol

  • Are you sure that surplus ammo has not got steel cores?I know steel cored ammo has been "Banned" in the US,but I also know there is still plenty about over there. For a lead cored FMJ to go through two thicknesses of 1/4" mild steel seems very unlikely, even at that short range. There are other videos of lead cored being fired at 1/4" plate and it doesnt penetrate.Nice SKS though, one of my favourite rifles of all time.

  • is it me..or did i see a weird illusion type thing a little after 0:48 - 0:60

  • @teddyandsalemrules dude! I saw that to looks awesome!

  • @teddyandsalemrules It's heat and a shock wave dissipating from the target at the bullet struck, nice effect!

  • 7.62x39 :-))))

  • If it was filled with water it would stop it or dirt

  • lol and they hide behind 44 gallon drums in the movies !

  • @rolficus I don't think a drum would stop a .22 !

  • @taofledermaus If you filled it with concrete...

  • @taofledermaus Meh, it probably would i think.

  • @taofledermaus They do, I only know this because I used to shoot at one all the time. They will not stop a .17 HMR fmj though.

  • That looks like an aluminum angle to me!

  • @frostheev It is mild steel. I just painted it white to make it more visible for the camera.

  • I just bought a norinco SKS the other day, I am still waiting for it in the mail. Videos like this make me so excited to get it :)

  • @BJCN100 It's a very good rifle, and I am sure you'll get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

  • well that sucks... i was looking at maybe getting some 10x12 steel plate inserts for a tactical vest/plate carrier... now I'm not so sure... lol

  • @silenthunder85 Very bad idea Mild steel will not stop a Rifle bullet Besides do you really want to carry an extra 15-20 KG of 1/2 in plate..Even high carbon hardened and tempered steel will not stop a high powered rifle bullet at anything less than 200 yards. Unless you are wearing a kevlar helmet even an average shooter will still be able to head shoot you at 350-400 yards with a half decent rifle. So Why Bother??

  • @vince38curious2 I would love to see someone see someones head at 400 yards with iron sights.

  • @iowaworker Can you see the the red circle on a standard 6 pack target at 400 yards? If you can Then Yes you can see someones head at 400 yards I KNOW I CAN ! I may not hit it with the first shot BUT I will get Bloody Close! BTW I never said anything about iron sights. That said I can still see a 6inch target well enough with the Iron sights on my 6.5X55 Swedish Mauser to score in the 7 ring or better for a 5 shot group of 5 inches at 400 yards. Better when I use a 4X scope.

  • whats the vilocity?

  • Awesome...

  • wooo amazing video !

  • wow! epic slow mo and music!

  • looked like some double penetrations. 1/2 defeated?

  • That's just so fuckin awesome. Now I have to go get one. XD

  • what kind of sks do u have ...like a norinco, russian , yugo

  • @switchbladec It is a Norinco. (Chinese)

  • @taofledermaus ya i no thats what i got but yours looks way cooler than mine

  • We should have tried it at a 45 degree angle. Then it would have been twice as thick like angled tank armor. Bet they would have just deflected off.

  • @shiznit93274 That would have been easy to do too. Next time for sure. I predict it WILL go through though, but not as cleanly.

  • @taofledermaus Can you make a video of 7.62x39 vs 3/8" steel?

  • I like it man, nice.

  • TOTALLY AWESOME!!!

  • @TheHiddenPart Thank you!!!

  • Awesome. :D What are those nylon core bullets used for, anyway?

  • @DaBomb1 I think they are just target rounds or training rounds.

  • can i borrow that to make some speed holes in the hood of my car! lol, amazing vid as usual!

  • @thomassmyth65 lol! Sure!

  • @thomassmyth65 lmao

  • Damn, this is power!

  • @SlaveZero1234 I've got another video coming up where we try to

shoot through a 12mm stainless steel plate. More to come!

  • SWEET. I've never wanted your camera more than I do now. :)

  • @miGsKills I know, right?!

  • Holy shit! Now that's what I call a 'hole puncher'!

    Great video, Jeffro!

  • @billhaley1868 Thanks!

  • Can you try 5.45x39? neat video

  • @semiautoriflelover If I can find someone with a rifle in that cal. I'm limited by what guns my friends own!

  • @taofledermaus I'm in NY so it's almost as bad. We can get rifles but only the cheap AK74s, Arsenal hasn't graced us with their presence in NY yet. I'm not sure how hard it would be to pin on a muzzle brake, lazy fools. I'm not even good with tools and I pinned on a muzzle brake in 5 minutes.

  • Nice. I've got the SKS M. That 30 caliber round packs a punch doesn't it?

  • The shot at 0:34 is so incredibly awesome. Especially the piece of steel flying off to the right.

  • Love it!! :)*****

  • @robbie574 Thanks!! I'm glad you liked it.

  • @taofledermaus Try to get your hands on a 30-06 or 300 win mag and do one of these.Im getting a .308 for stuff like this
