I got a songbook off them when they played the Purple Haze in Montreal over 20 years ago. Best $20 I ever spent. This band taught me how to write a tune, not to mention how to deliver it live.
i saw these guys every year at christmas at the Corner Hotel fo many years always great live show. I had the thrill of being given a lift home by the bass player Dupree after one of the gigs a crazy guy and a top assed band. We miss them
i saw them at gaelic in april, id waited 16 years, awesome, can anyone tell me where I can find the lyrics for this brilliant song..they led with boys back in town at that gig as well
You need the Weds song book. I thought there was a few copies of volume II at the gig, Vol I is a bit harder to come by. Yep, were were at that gig too. :o)
great stuff!! saw them at the Gaelic in Sydney last week for the first time ever and i was so impressed i'm flying down to Melbourne on thursday especially to see them!! got tickets for 2 shows....still working on tickets for saturday night :-)
Thanks for this!! I was at the other 2 Zoo shows - audio and video quality is excellent considering WPA's volume and ppl dancing
The video got promoted by Mick Thomas at the Sunday show. Along the lines of "Thanks to the miracle of the internet, last night's version of this song is already on Youtube. But we're going to examine it carefully to see if we can identify the person who threw a coin at Michael Barclay's [drummer] face"
Look carefully at the 4th wave of coins. Dangerous song.

Read the sleeve on 'they were better live' it says why they do this one early !
I saw them last night in Melb - they were ace. It was over too quick. Ten years over in two hours.
I thought the CD of wednesday night would have been in order ? Would they have started with 'boys are back in town' then ??
