stainless and nickle are shit for damascus, Dr. Ray Rantanen retired NASA rocket scientist make the strongest damascus I know. He uses O-1 tool steel , S-2 recycled jack hammer bits and mild steel.

You didn't talk about the zdp 189 steel on the blade? Thats one of the BEST blade steels on the market. ;)

This one does not have a ZDP-189 steel on the blade.. this is a Mike Norris Stainless Damascus blade..

Not sure. Actually this might be Devin Thomas Damascus... It will be a decent performing steel, but would be nowhere near as good as ZDP-189. Its more for looks than performance.

Well I carry a Spyderco Calypso 3 with a razor sharp zdp 189 blade and carbonfiber handle. Sexy knife. For utility I use the new endura 4 with the zdp 189 partial serration blade. Cuts threw rope like butter and whatever else for that matter. ;)

A spyderco Caly 3 g-10 handle with vg-10 blade steel is the perfect EDC knife if you can afford it. If you cant, look at the spyderco Delica 4
