Pure Porno. Shots like this and many others beyond 500yards will only be appreciated by those who know what goes into pulling off a tough shot like this.
Sako TRG 22 is the .308WIN so accuratley out to 800m with good to average conditions. The Sako TRG 42 is the 300Win Mag and the 338 Lap Mag. All three cartridges have different capabilities and therefore accurate distances of course heavily varting on prejectiles design and MV. .308WIn 800m, 300WM 1200m and 338LM 1600m.
I can remember exactly on the day but it was around 17.5 Milrad to get it there. This was on the second turn of the S&B 3-12 x 50 DT Turret. The load was not hot, it was a factory Federal match 175gn Sierra. Just a lot or work calibrating it over temperature and using good software with a good scope.
It goups under half MOA with this rifle. The powder burn rate with Federal match is usually around 1fps/deg C (low). The Sierra 175gn Matchking flys beautifully supersonic, transonic and subsonic (rare). It all adds up to getting it there at the right spot. Why not?
Excellent. What kind of scope is that?

Around 17.5 Milrad. Not a hot load. Just a factory Federal 175gn Sierra. Heaps of elevation in the S&B Drum though.
