I never heard of Tintin until I ended up in England when I was 10. Our school encouraged the kids to read Tintin, but all other comics (especially Batman) were off-limits because of violence and foul language.

Tintin, however, is extremely violent, with Tintin weilding a gun in every episode, even though there's no chance of him being licensed to carry a firearm in the countries where he ends up making trouble.

As far as I'm concerned, this film will have the similar violence as in the books, but it's not going to be bad violence as in R rated movies. It'll be the violence that some kids can relate to when being bullied. And maybe this movie might teach them to give their enemies payback for what the bullies have been doing to them that they shouldn't have been.

Oh gawd. $10 says that these characters are going to be emotionless zombies just like in the polar express. gotta love how you get almost no face time on the characters the longest you see their faces in this clip is like half a second until the end where it shows a kid that looks exactly like the kid from "The Fray - Over My Head" music video. If they fuck that up the movie is going to be complete garbage.
