I love how everYone thinks he is good, BUT THERE IS NO GOALKEEPER! OF COURSE IT IS EASY TO SCORE FROM WHERE HE SHOOTS FROM, EMPTY NET AND THE DEFENDERS ON THE OTHER TEAM SUCK.
But I gotta say that those goals are massive to have without a keeper! My boy is 5 years old playing U6's and has small goals. My other boy is 8 years old playing U9's and they have similar sized goals to this video but they have a keeper in them.
@puguglyhfd So your saying hogging the ball is going to help learn how to play soccer (football)? It's a shame how people think hogging the ball and not sharing the ball is going to improve skills.
P.S it doesn't matter what age, you just need to share the ball no matter what!
dannnnngg!! your child is honestly really good. to have that knowelage and skill and such a young age is amazing! i already know i will see his name on tv one day!
Unfortunately this looks like a TOTAL individual player. Didnt see any passing or giving his teammates and opportunity to make a play. The problem academy players have is that they are ALL about individual talent not TEAM FIRST concept. Its a shame
@samsung8369 I appreciate your input but this video is showing Caleb's talent and not the team as a whole. Unfortunately, as a TEAM-they had no talent. Caleb would pass the ball or make a perfect cross and no one could do anything to finish. He is a total team player and makes some amazing passes without even having to look. If you see any of his more recent videos, you would see some of the accurate passes that he DOES make.
With 6 years old you just get introduced to the game. The aim of a coach should not be to focus at the team as a whole, but, rather, at each INDIVIDUAL. Indeed, football is a competitive sport, therefore the coach must, at this stage, learn the importance of scoring. Teaching a 6 year old to pass is creating confusion for the child will no longer have a sense of scoring which is the main aim in this sport.
Im not taking anthing away from your son you can see he is a good player through his slill moves and shooting in some games but theres no keeper! Whys there no goalie?? He is a gifted young player what we need to see in yhe game :)
@THodge1994 In this video you are talking about there was no keeper because the age division he was playing at the time (U8) they didn't have a keeper. The division he is playing in now (U9 Academy at 7 years old) there is a keeper and his skill level (shooting, passing and moves) have got a lot better. If you go to his channel, you will see his latest videos, including his U9 Academy highlight video. Thank you for watching and having nice things to say.
@evanbournehighfly Oh trust me! Plenty of kids missed the net. Haha! It wasn't pretty. But Caleb worked hard for each and everyone of those goals. Id you check out his latest videos-there are goalies and he is still scoring a lot. Thanks for watching the video though. :)
@Deluxegamers Thank you. He sure hopes so :) There will be a new video up very shortly of his season highlights from this season. It's a great one. Hope you check it out when we post it! :) Thanks for watching!!!! :)
@rollerbladeskill Ummm...if that is what you think-you should check out the latest videos. There are videos up from this season that show I still can score WITH a keeper.
At this age players should be encouraged to keep the ball and use their skills and to not worry about sharing and passing. Most kids won't develop those skills or concepts until U10 and maybe U8 although some kids like this one do understand the concept and will pass it because some kids have it and some don't. Don't waste your kids time worrying if someone else hasn't scored or not. We shouldn't be teaching our kids to "share" at the U8 and below level.
@pluguglyhfd Thank you very much for pointing that out. For some reason-people who watch these videos thinks he should be constantly feeding his team mates the ball through out the whole game. Right now-the level he is at-it's all about player development and becoming more and more comfortable on the field. He passes the ball plenty! :) But he also knows that if he has the opportunity to drive the ball up field and score-he is going to do that first!
@cross2707 I can assure you I am not a "ballhog." Please check out my other videos and you will see there are a lot of passes up the field made by me. You will also see I am playing U9 Academy (I am 7), there is a goalie now and I am still scoring 4-6 goals and making passes. Thank you for watching my video and your comments though.
@homerorules101 If you're hung up on the fact that there is no goalie-go check out my latest videos of me playing U9 Academy WITH a goalie. I still score 4-6 goals a game. But thanks for watching!
@grady407 If you're hung up on the fact that there is no goalie-go check out my latest videos of me playing U9 Academy WITH a goalie. I still score 4-6 goals a game. But thanks for watching!
@xb0xkid Thanks a ton for watching my video. I am waiting for season to start again so I can get back into the game. I have a tournament coming up soon so hopefully I will have highlights from those games to add.
I wear a size 2 so I couldn't by those cleats your talking about. Any other good suggestions though?
@domdabomb2009 Thanks so much again for checking out my videos. I like to hear what other people say and suggestions they have to make me a better player. I don't start playing Academy until August so stay tuned for my highlights. My parents are making me a season highlight reel so that should be up soon. Thanks again!
@rknglit There aren't any keepers in this division. But if you notice-I have 2 or more guys on me at all times trying to take the ball away. Next season I am playing a division that has goalies. I have played in an indoor league that had goalies and I did just as well as I am doing now. Thanks for watching my video and I hope you at least enjoyed it.
Solid player for being 6, however no goalkeeper does pose little challenge. The deffenders on the white team are just watching. I had two 5 year old boys play U8 indoor last winter and score multiple goals (with keepers) my 7 year old son plays U9 indoor and outdoor and posted 4 goals vs a U10 team indoor (a poor U10 team) he has good foot work but I saw no passing. Teach your son to play within a team concept, and dribble with his head up.
@airborneranger62 Thanks for watching my video and posting your comments about it. It may not look like I do a lot of passing but I do. These videos are of my HIGH LIGHTS through out the game. The videos don't include my every move. I played on a select U7 team when I was five and we had a goalie and I still pulled off an average of four goals a game.
@airborneranger62 Also, When my mom and dad make these videos-they don't include every pass and assist I have. This game I had 5 assists. Also, the majority of the time I did pass- my teammates missed the pass or didn't quite know what to do with the ball. I have been recruited to play in an Academy U9 team in the fall so I hope to have better coaching and more players who know the game better.
@xsammymanx1 And NOT anyone can score a goal with out a keeper. Trust me! The majority of the kids on my team go WIDE of the net about 80% of the time!
@xsammymanx1 Thanks for watching my video. I know it's a lot easier to score with out a keeper but I am only 6 and the U8 division I play in doesn't have a goalie. Next season I have been recruited to play in a Select U9 club so I make sure to practice a lot outside in the backyard to work on my moves and my dad plays goalie to I can work on my shots. Thanks for the advice though.
youre a really good player, let me just warn you that when you are about 12-13 years old its going to be alot more technical so keep practicing (you got talent)
@OSMAN14DZEKO11 Thank you for watching my videos. I try to practice as much as I can to perfect my moves. Please subscribe to my channel to see the latest videos. :)
