  • are there more tracks from K'naan?

  • remember when we played with plastic army men we acted out the sounds in our heads the explosions let take their shit and turn un them lets play make believe like when we were kids when we were power rangers when we were autobots let use our imaginations.

  • This is what should be played on the radio not that monotonous, non-enlightening pop rap.

  • my distant relatives brought me here!

  • Damian Marley Second King of Reagee

  • Give thanks and praises for this wonderful tune....keep up the good work Marley and friends.

  • its amazing how u can generate such enlightenment through songs JAH RASTAFARI <3

  • the violin in the beginning reminds me of a jedi mind tricks song i'm not sure what the name is though

  • yes it's true, there was black on black murder before america so, it's nothing new...but, we still must find peace..a common ground..some way..some how..the lord(bless be he) will provide a way soon..

  • This song is briliant genial FKING GOOD NICEEEEE

  • K'naan broke it down, best 5 steps to explain one of the main problems in Africa. sad thing is that divide and conquer was the main weapon for colonization and exploitation of African resources. Yet the impact of that is still relevant today, goes to show that African countries may be free of imperialism, but we're still in the same cycle of violence that our ancestors were in. wish we would wake the fuck up and see we are not each other enemy!

  • Here's the issue. African tribes have been fighting for thousands of years. What made this worse is that the colonizers from Europe decided to randomly cut the continent instead of focusing on the tribes (which did interact very well at one time) during the Berlin Conference of 1884.

I don't know what should be done, or what was best back then, but I know that fighting against each other isn't new.

  • Goddamn Damian's flow is insane!! "Man a war Tribal over colors Over money, over land and over oil and over God and over idols and even lovers Over breakfast, over dinner, over suppers Over jungle, over Rema and over Buckers Over Brooklyn, over Queens and over Rutgers Over red, over blue and over chuckers Over red and over blue and Undercovers Tribal trouble, the drive bys double cause the youth dem nah go a war and go fight with knuckels

  • Marleys & Nas blunt Is lit but never gets put out.

  • Its crazy how often people misconstrue the true meaning of what reggae stands for. All the legends of reggae (Isaacs, Tosh, Marley, Brown, etc) stood for peace, tolerance and unity among people, didnt matter of race or religion. Ive seen a bunch of arguements (especially on Nas &Damian videos) where they are disputing if its a white or a black mans world. Something has been lost it translation guys. Think about what you are saying and think about what reggae truely represents

  • @WhiteSabrewulf Arrogant fuck, how you know what I was gonna say before I've said it? You don't know me, I could explain to you why this is the black / brown peoples world but I'm too lazy at the moment. How about this you figure it out on ya own....

  • @Bsmurfdizzle i Would be able to figure it out if it was true....

  • @Bsmurfdizzle it's everyone's planet, anything other than that is a lie...

  • @DoctorSess ok.

  • @Bsmurfdizzle glad you agree my friend.

  • much respect and props to these two

  • K'naan wrecked his verse!!!! So ill!!!

  • dude ripped dis shiiiiiiiiiit , im mad hype rise black ppl remember what they did to us??? brown brothers join us so we can take back our planet!

  • @Bsmurfdizzle Really your planet? Explain to me how it the African Americans planet? I'm not saying it the whites either cause i know that's what your gonna jump to the second i post this. But really i don't think its your planet.

That's right, it's me against my brother Then we point ak47 And kill one another

  • savers of true hip hop...nas, damian, the roots,k naan etc...there is not really many of these guys left enjoy it while u can...artists and songs who stand for something positive for something healthy with a message and not only that but at the same time still making pleasing music, something that sounds and makes u feel good, very rare...new generation dosent seem to produce anyone likes these guys...embrace em all anyways tho...........

  • @kadir1982 You forgot Lupe Fiasco =D

  • @kadir1982 If you need me to, ill become a real rapper as well. i have no ghetto experience or anything really exciting to rap about. But if people will listen ill rap about working at McDonalds life and school. Maybe also about saying the government is corrupt and cause "hysteria". . . just give me the word and ill begin.

  • Talk about the message. not the fucking industry.

The rap music industry is poison just like every other music industry.

  • deepest song to have been released in many years this song was vitamin c for the hip hop industry but it went unheard... while the infected hip hop runs wild running threw the veins and ears on the next generation... ignore intelligence and support garbage HIP HOP IS TRUELY DEAD!

  • this albums kills ALL the other rap albums dat came out in 2010, Nas and Damian Marley make the perfect duo

  • the real title is "tribal war"

  • Tribal War...no? not Tribe At War

  • it's me and mynation against the world, it's me and my clans against other clans in my nation, it's me and my family against my clan, it's me against my family, thats a part of a very ancient Somali folklore! so proud!

  • @shishisennin if thats true what u sayin..thats ill that he used it...tuff..

  • CLAAASSSS! RESPECT FOR ALL THREE OF THEM!

  • EVERY MAN DESERVES TO EARN AND EVERY CHILD DESERVE TO LEARN. ANOTHER GREAT TRACK PRODUCED BY JR GONG RESPECT RASTA

  • Love this song! Makes me proud to be a Diaspora African. Gotta love Mama Africa!

  • This is so relevant and poetic for the inner soul, not just for the pure blooded African, but those of us who've been transported to the western hemisphere of the world... this entire album reminds me of Dead Prez's "I'm A African"... we've gotta all know that we are indeed African. if Nas and Damian aren't awarded the most prestigious of music awards for this album... it's probably be the greatest shame in musical history... and there's been great disgrace, especially within the last decade.

  • @poetryselite U know they're not gonna reward this amazing effort fam, I mean with as great as thses songs are, I've never heard 1 joint from this album on the supposed home of HiHop here in NY Wack97, or Power 105 . they'll probably get a nomination but they won't win, not wit people like Drake nd Em releasing albums too

  • very good song. very african and proud of it coz I AM African

  • Why did LiL wayne have to get on this FUCKIN ALBUM WHY!!! WHY!#U!!H#!#U!HEIUHADoiaud

  • @dubskinz you know it bro, i know someone who used to like tupac, then tupac died, he switched to nas... then jay-z got more succesful he switched to jay-z... then ja rule became the new tupac he switched to ja rule... then 50 kills ja rule he switches to 50... I wish he knew how low a character he has from my point of view but he is my dawg... it's not easy keeping it real in this world and for what? so people can think of you as jesus? but still SOME people keep it real and thats beautiful

  • @fmth1311

    Awesome comment.

  • fuck, that is good
