  • Excellent tutorial. Thank you so much for teaching us!!

  • @Bloodblender,cost 500 dollars on eBay but everyone jus illigally downloads it off ta Internet jus search how on youtube bro

  • DOES SONY VEGAS COST MONEY!?!?!?!?!?! PLEASE ANSWER!!!

  • Thanks you, was able to do EXACTLY want I wanted to do.

  • Thanks about the tutorial man, you helped me a lot because i'm new in moviemaking. Good Tutorial ! : )

  • This helped me so much! You have no idea how many tutorials I'e watched and NONE of them hav gone into trimming and splitting! Thanks dude!! :)

  • How to you take audio and match it with the video? When I record a video it always seems to mis match the action going on. Any ideas?

  • @ufekoc One way is to put the vid on the time line, click the clip once (vid or audio is fine) to select it, then press the "u" key. That should ungroup the audio and vid so you could move the audio or vid to match with each other :)

  • you know how you have your transitions/video fx/project media are in one spot at the bottom. I accidently made my transitions box come outta there, how do u put it bk?

  • @Danc3rG1rl go to view and select transitions, then you'll get a pop up box of it. Drag that box to the top, but under the toolbar where it has icons of new, open, save, etc...(keep holding it), so when it looks like it merged to make another section(don't let go of it yet) in the middle of the section with the tabs and the video preview, start dragging it slowly to the left until it looks like it took over the section with the tabs. Then let go and you'll have the transitions back on the tabs

  • @LalaAccount Thanks but I'm still having problems . Do you think you can make a tutorial pleasee ? (:

  • i accidently some how deleted my tansitions o_o LIKE the entireee thing .

is it possible to get it back ? :o

  • @1NT3R35T1NG If you mean the tab, go to "View" and you should be able to toggle tabs on and off. On Sony Vegas 8 "ALT+7" will toggle "Transitions" :)

  • my vid wont go in.

  • @Cat6768 A possibility may be is that the file type isn't supported ?

  • How can I squash/screw the video rather than stretching it.

I want to squash the video horizontally so it's not so wide.

    Please answer

  • @aprimic One way is to select the clip on the timeline, go to video/media fx, select deform, and there should be an effect there to compress horizontally and compress vertically. Select which one you want for the clip, put it on the clip, then you should be able to control how much you want the video compressed.. :)

  • how to add video fx?

  • @KlassikoGratido Open the video fx window (alt 8 or go to the tab if it's there) then drag it to your clip and adjust the effect, or right click the clip, select media fx, choose an effect, then adjust it :)

  • please speak up next time. i got the volume all the way up and i can barley hear you. :|

our language is very complicated if you compare it to alot of others

We were raised with it so of course its easy to you and me

  • how do you put a name in the corner part while the video is playing? *(:

  • Make a text layer and put it on a track above your video.

  • @Purplepaulinefaye i didnt use it! but i think u can put a video u wanna put name on! and then ut text! and in that text window there is an option ! where u can drag the text! so drag to corner! after smaling the text! i saw it in a video! tutorial..!

  • how do you unseparate auido video?plz

  • i dont know, ive always just undone back to where it was. There must be an easier way though

  • right click on the video or audio and click on group, then ungroup. or click on the video or audio and press U :)

  • I cant see any 'ungroup' buttom:( and press u wont work

  • To C0DfourPr0 To separate audio Right click on your Audio Clip .From menu click Group >Ungroup. Return to your clip Right Click then Delete. Easy.

  • Supposing I had an audio track and I wanted to remove the music but keep the dialogue, could I do that?

    Great review btw =)

  • I dont now how to do that or whether it can be done in vegas but I really want ti find out. I think you need some music editing software. I've seen editors edit songs for videos so it can be done. If you find out then msg back :)

  • I have looked around, Audacity can do that and I think you can use it with Sony Vegas, the results aren't brilliant but that might be because of the thing i'm trying to do lol

  • Ive got a video uploaded on how to edit music on vegas check it out and subscribe

  • i might sound really dumb but what is the 'yes key' ?

  • helped a bunch lol nice triple kill

  • can someone please help me:

how do i insert only audio from a serparate clip onto a different clip.

  • If you do ctrl U then that will split the audio from the video and the you can just delete the video and drag the audio under your other video clip

Sorry for the late reply, some of these msgs avn't been appearing in my comments box

  • after you split videos... can you put them back together somehow so you dont have those black lines... because im making a video that requires a lot of splitting sooo... it gets annoying having to move one piece of video at a time.

  • If you hold ctrl you can select multiple clips at once or holding shift and clicking somewhere else it will select all the clips in between.

  • yea.. i figured that out.... thank you though =D

  • what video formats can you use on sony vegas?

  • .AVI and .WMV

  • Hey do u know how to make it so that u have one video on the screen and then another video like in the corner so that hteres 2 videos, like on those Rock Band 2 Drum Videos where theres the game and then the guys drum, just search a video or something, do u know how to cuz ive been trying to do that.

  • Get your 2 video clips and put 1 above the other on a seperate video track. Then on the top 1 zoom it out using the pan/crop and it will get smaller so then you can just place it in a corner or wherever u want.
