  • (continued)- strength with that hand. Then your other hand that wraps around should be about 60% squeeze with the off hand. Make sure your body is squared off at the target and when your pointing the gun at your target with the grip I told you about make sure your elbows are pointing towards the outside so that takes alot of the recoil and it doesn't make the gun have as much muzzle flip!

  • If I can give you a little helpful tip! From your video I can see your putting to much finger on the trigger, it should only be the tip of your pad, the part between your nail. Second your pulling the trigger not squeezing it! The pad of your finger should never leave the trigger and it should be a gentle squeeze not pull/yank. Also when your griping the gun, make sure the hand that's squeezing the trigger is high up as far as it can go on the gun and you should only be using about 40% grip str

  • @RoadHardOffRoad Always open to advice on my technique. As you can probably tell I'm pretty new to shooting, well pistols anyway. I will give all this a shot. thanks!

  • I went to the range Monday--still had my shirt and tie on-- and shot two outstanding groups. 10 yards and all you could see is a hole in the head and chest about 2" in diameter. What a good shoot. My sig is a gem.

  • @hlgrice Shirt and tie eh? why to stay classy. I've been using the glock 23 lately but I need to take the sig to the range again soon. Just got night sights on the glock so she's been my go to lately.

  • It is a great pistol.

  • Same here, once I shot it (sp2022) a couple of times I began to adjust to it. I had been so use to my Glock 17 and 22 model that the high bore axis was very different.

  • @hlgrice I've shot it a few more times since and accuracy has improved. it's such a great gun I'm suprised it isn't more popular, especially for the price. Seems like the new Walther PPQ is the new hot ticket polymer gun on the market.

  • I have this very gun and I love it ALMOST as much as my 1911:) I found myself to be pretty accurate with it suprisingly after owning an M&P 45c that I couldn't hit anything with.It reminds me ALOT of my S&W 3rd gen pistols-keep practicing with it and watch yourself quickly get to where you want to be,it's a totally underrated gun IMHO.

  • @1911heaven I'm definitely in love with this gun. I have no doubt once I get used to it I will be plenty accurate. I was just telling my co-worker about it the other day. He wants a p226 and I was like get the sig pro man it's half the price and a great pistol.

  • nice now pick up all the brass for me :-)

  • @MrVTHILLBILLY I do need to get better about picking up my brass. I could probably collect it and sell it to someone at the range when I go there lol.
