I appreciate that BDM absolute refuses to abandon their roots. You can hate or love this band, but they have consistently developed their sound in a singular direction with one singular purpose: to develop the heaviness of death metal without abandoning the melody that made them so catchy during their early years. And they have done so. The songs grow heavier and more aggressive, yet Trevor and the crew haven't forgotten what drew us fans to them in the first place. Simply masterful

When Shannon was writing the drum parts he kept pushing the metronome higher and higher til he couldnt keep up. He's so solid for how fast he is. I've been drumming for over a decade and I can't play most songs off of Nocturnal and Deflorate.
