  • Well they were only meant to be a replacement for the DE's.

Not really an FFG replacement, certainly no where near a DDG.

  • I am formerly Royal Ordnance Ammuntion Division. These ships are under armed. A cruiser type ship should have at least, 24 anti-missile missile, 6 "Exocet" type missiles and a CIWS gun! I suppose that both Australia and Nerw Zewaland will expect the US/UK to bail them out in the event of any hostilities!

  • @ericartwo1, just remembering that New Zealand is a piece keeping country, not a war country. If New Zealand was fit for war, we would have more than 2 frigates, a proper air force, and a proper army.

  • @CAMNZ117 The UK is a peace-keeping country! Our whole defence system is based on self defence against a threat of invasion from Russia since they put up the "Iron Curtain!" In order to face a threat from Russia, we have to consider nuclear threats and on that basis we create a response (along with America & NATO) capable of being able to meet that nuclear threat! New Zealand needs to waken up to the fact that China is a huge country with massive nuclear and military capabilities in ur area!

  • Awesome. i think that i'm in that vid, on a boarding party. and during a 50. cal firing.

  • lhahahaha got us a salt dog eh, m8 turn it up

  • eat shit skin

  • hahahahaha

  • wtf half of this clip isnt even anzacs

  • most of this is on ANZACS you probably not even been on one, you have probably been in as long as a dog watch

  • RIP Canterbury (Leander class that is).Nice vid...notes the hatch down to 2K mess! The ANZAC frigates are a good design, with just a couple of flaws. The main one?The mo fo who designed them never allowed for soft spots into machinery spaces! But again a very nice vid,and time to start looking at replacing them as theyre halfway through their service life.

  • @saltydog45 have 10 more years left in them. they are just in their mid-life refit now.

  • @CAMNZ117 Yep,still got mates working in the yard. They better start looking, and saving for replacements now! Still firmly belive they could quite easily purchase any of the mothballed fleet the US has,and most of the weapons systems they currently have, will bolt straight into them.

  • Nice, well done
