People being buried alive within the dam is impossible. When Hoover Dam was built in the 30's they had much larger cement pouring buckets and with each pour, the cement would rise by "1 INCH!" You could just step out of it and walk away. So being buried alive in the dam is impossible. That's what the tour guide told us.
