I have been desperately tring to find Jerry Lanning in an episode he did of The Dick VanDyke show, where he sang "the Twizzle", and my favorite "This Nearly Was Mine" from "South Pacific". He sang it so beautifully, I have it on video, but would love to find it here someday...

I THOUGHT that was Jerry Lanning. What a gorgeous voice and what a sexy man. I saw him once on tour in 1776 as the sexiest John Dickinson ever, and later on Broadway as Freddy in My Fair Lady. I had quite a crush.
I actually saw this broadcast and have been looking for it for years. Wacky and cheap backdrops. Buy GOD is she beautiful. I was only 11 when this was shown, but looking at her I started spouting facial hair.
Not exactly Fosse's choreography, although the "groovy" orchestrations and backgrounds evoke "Sweet Charity" a bit... Was it shot in NY or LA? My guess is the latter...
