This was the logo/theme for KFWB, one of the top music stations in L.A. in the early 60's. Those 1st six notes were sung as "K - F - double U - B" and the 5 fast notes immediately following were "channel 98". Even after the station went all news (circa 1968) they retained that theme but it became "News 98".
I have this on a 45. Under the title it says it's from "Painted Desert Music" - Maybe an album? Still play it occasionally. Thanx for posting.
