Flow masters are chambered not packed like most exhaust (Borla included) meaning they flow better. The chambers enhance the sound while the lack of fiberglass packing allows no restriction. I know exhaust very well.
tell that to the dyno numbers, theres a reason flowmaster chambered mufflers are worse than most aftermarket mufflers, but they're still one of my favorite catbacks
my car does that too when it goes into gear, reverse more so than drive, theres a big jolt when it gets into gear ! ive just changed my fluid and it made no difference. Is the mount just like a rubber bush thing that holds it up ?
yeah, it's a piece of rubber that sits on top of the crossmember, between the tranny and the crossmember itself, costs about $20 for a polyurethane one from energy suspension or prothane. You can check if it's the bushings fault by trying to lift the tranny up with a crowbar :>
I´m just asking because I have a Firebird and everytime I put it in drive or reverse it kicks. I don´t know what it is but I´ve been told that these transmissions get like that over the years of use. I will change my filter and oil to see if it solves the problem but I´m a little sceptical about it...

Check your tranny mount, that's often the reason for what you're describing

Happened to me, I needed a new rear end mount but it needed to be heavy duty.

Great car!
Does it kick when you put it in drive?
