  • ITS FUNNY BECAUSE SHE CANT BE A PRINCESS BECAUSE SHES IN AMERICA DEMOCRACY BITCH

  • This film was messed up. Every other disney princess gets a castle, what does she get................. messed up right?

  • LOVED THIS FILM! I'M 28 & I've watched it MANY times. Good job, Disney!

  • Yeah the 7 year old girls are cute and all but still I'm 16 and a dude and I enjoyed the movie so broaden the horizon on the people interviewed

  • This movie had 2 too many songs and not NEARLY enough Dr. Facilier

  • i really would like to know if they're making another!! We need more musicals!

  • MOST AMAZING THING SINCE THE LION KING!!!!!

  • Disney needs to keep going back to the classics.

  • no, just no.

    I hated it, 2/10

  • HHhaHAhahAHhaHahAHh HARD WORKING! 2:59 HAHAH slave refrence

  • @RedEggsCereal HAHAHAHAHAHA Go fuck yourself.

  • @RedEggsCereal You're nuts! They were going to make her a maid you know. Be glad they changed her to a waitress! She's working hard to follow her dream you know. That was the 1920s, not 2010! This is the best movie I've seen since Mulan!

  • Luv this movie! If you wanna see it yourself, it's on Full Movie World . com

  • This is like a Disney classic 10/10 good memories : )

  • YATTA! i just found the whole movie online!! apparantly the admin uploaded it... Just go to the site below :D

    w w w . LatestFilms18 . t k

  • Woo ... awesome movie. You'll enjoy this. It's on Ace Free Movies . com - so get watching!

  • People are picking disney apart over this once coz the Princess is so different but you gotta remember that the last real fairy tale story they did was Beauty and the Beast in 1991. So obviously peoples attitudes to certain things have changed since then and maybe they wanted to return to their roots without completely adopting their old storylines.

  • fabb!! A great movie all the way up to the last 10 or so minutes... When it just got totally let down! I wish they had chose a better ending? to finish off the movie the right way! 8 / 10.. watch at MOVIEPRINCESS[DOT]com

  • I think when it comes down to it, America doesn't know how to market animated films outside of it being "kiddy fare". In countries like Japan or France, ANYONE can watch animated films and not have to make excuses. And not all animated film are for children, ALSO: I also don't think it's fair that 2D animation earns blame for making a film bad. Pixar has such great films because of their awesome stories, the 3D is just icing on the cake.

  • John Lasseter is a genius

  • @livesquid13

I actually think this is his worst film.

And not up to par with his other work make's me wonder if he had any issue's working on this movie.

  • always lissin to the children XD

  • 'Don't Mess With Magic' i'll have to remember that all my life...

  • I agree with hyuugafan88j4, I hate how people are picking apart this movie. Why is there always an evil intention that people pull out of no where?

I thought the movie was amazing, very well cast, incredibly addictive soundtrack, amazing animation and very captivating story-line! And hey, Naveen is one of the first princes, aside from Beast who has an actual personality and flaws! I'm really glad that Disney went back to 2D, its what got me to want to be an animmator, thank god for Lasseter!

  • I wished she had interviewed some adults or teenagers. I'm not saying that the kids are not helpful but just because it's animated doesn't mean it's just for kids. I'm 16 and I'm excited about seeing this when it comes out in the UK!

  • @Lissy71 Yea ur right! Im 19 and i want to own the DVD!

  • why did she only ask kids? lol

  • loved prince naveen. and dr. facillier is THE BEST disney villain so far.

  • Why is it that people always question Disney's intentions? They made a Black Princess, they returned to 2D. The end. Jeez.

You know, maybe Disney just *wanted* to make their princess black. Maybe they felt that they needed a black princess. And even if they didn't, even if they had some other motive, who cares? Tiana is a very pretty princess and the first out of the group of Disney Princesses who's independent. If anything, I think that that's not racist at all.

  • haha, i love how they only interviewed little girls for this one. so cute.

  • GREATTTT movieee!!! :DDDDD

fell in love with it! :]

  • my point i reckon disney are running out of ideas

  • STOP THE ADVERTISEMENTS!!!

  • @googlax01 thank you i hated the watch at monster movie (DOt) com shit. i wish they would Ban all of them from youtube DAMN HUhhhh happy i got that out of my system ;-l

  • This movie is super cute.

  • I love that movie.

  • I thought this movie was amazing! And It really made Tianna shine as a strong independent women!

  • song of the south? just thought i'd put my input.

  • The first Black Princess and Black Prince!

    (not racist, just saying)

  • Actually, I believe Naveen is Latin.

  • its fantastic

  • the cake...is a lie

  • i don't care about ethnicity background in this movie....this movie is just awesome....and i don't care about rude ppl saying that it was bad because the main character is African American....it is an awesome movie and ppl should get over the barrier in racial discrimination.

  • actually people are saying its a bad movie because she wasn't human enough and that Disney is been racist. As far as I'm concerned, they are only saying that because they can and feel like it.

The movie looks so good. I really want to see it!

  • like kids there age would know about hand drawn animation

  • I agree with people here, the only reason disney made this film was to add a black girl to the 'disney princesses' thing.

Otherwise it just doesn't make sense that they would go back to 2D animation. Its 2D so she would fit in with the rest of the disney princesses. It fits in perfectly.

  • What are they talking about First africian american She is the first one from the Americas all together.

  • @DrIvoRobotnick Actually, the first one from the Americas all together would have been Pocahontas.

  • i loved this movie and any won who dident like it, STFU

  • 00:13=Jupiter(brightest star)?

  • whats up with that womans voice?

  • I love how the kids love a variety of different princesses, even some Pocahontas love there.

Kids don't see color. Tiana was created for cynical adults who look for prejudice in everything.

  • looks like the target audience loves it.. YAY!

  • "don't mess with magic!" XD excellent advice all around :P

  • This beyond the trailer doesn't really give you any idea if the film is good or not. Nobody rated it and they only talked to kids. What's up with that?

  • Come check it my review, I'll let you know...

    -The Movie Messenger

  • I just see the movie and it was great.

Finally Disney brought us another beautiful story... and they have to keep doing it.

  • I agree very interisting and nice :) 4/5

  • this is lovely.

  • "the best part of it...the middle" xD

  • "Don't mess with magic"

    lololol that's a good one.

  • remember, only pretty girls can be princesses.

  • ok seriously to all you people who put race on the main focus here

so what?! the princess is black ooh how racist. GROW UP

theres been asian, native american, white, arabic princesses, etc. cant the story be the focus here?

  • It's not because she's black, it is because they stereotype it.

  • How?

  • The grandma, nuff said.

  • You mean Mama Odie? She's a blind, vodoun woman. And I have heard, "Give us some sugar," from plenty of older Southern women (of any color).

  • Don't mess with magic, BITCHES!

  • WE WANT BFX!!!

  • did you learn any lessons?

    --not really

    hahahahahh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Well, she WOULD HAVE started out as a Chambermaid (just like Cinderella did), but everyone got all up in a huff, so they made her a waitress.

  • Grace i <3 u !!!!

  • Yes! They finaly made the last princess now they can make Kingdom Hearts III. . . If only, lol.

  • actually, now they are busy making rupunzel =D

  • not that the race thing is relevant, but they actually interviewed more white ppl than they did blk

as if that really matters tho...dope movie btw lol

  • Man this movie was AMAZING! but I'm so sad they didn't put more time into the villan...it wasn't needed, but as far as villainy went he was a bad ass and needed more screen time.

  • Yeah, I loved the movie, and I'm glad she asked the little kids, I tend to see a lot of interviewers ask the wrong people sometimes. XD

  • ahh... haven't seen it.. I'm gonna watch itlike in 2 weeks or so.. right now it's full of little crying, annoying non-stoppable talking kids.. ha :)

  • okay, we've got 9 princesses now, 10 in 2010 itself rapunsel, i wonder if they will make alice a real princess soon

  • maybe you should have asked a different audience, and for a 1 to 10. seriously, it's not like your being sponsored by them and I wanna know the truth from all audiences

  • Comment removed

  • I saw the Princess and the Frog the day it came out and I love it.

  • noone said mulan! is it cuz shes asian?!?!?

  • Ancient Chinese religion was heavy on ancestral worship.

  • She's not a princess.

  • she is now.

  • She's not a princess, she's a noblewoman. I love her too, but I'm sure she's only on the princess calendar so PC crybabies could finally STFU.

  • @supedupandstillsik Many black people were living in ghettos in 1913, which is probably why she lived in one. In fact it was probably quite rare to have a black person living a richer lifestyle. The reason she worked probably has something to do with the fact that her dream was to own a restaurant. Just because you get royal, doesn't mean you stop having dreams you know.

  • Interesting how you used absolutely no punctuation. Yep, I bet people REALLY take you seriously.

  • lol the movie looks alright, even though i dont feel so interested in seeing this :)

    nice video though yo ^_^

  • It would b better to use some children to review the New Moon too..

  • I loved this movie! I went with my friend and we felt like children again. It was simply fantastic. I have some restored faith in the future of Disney movies. I hope to god they do more 2D instead of Pixar and Live Action. Don't get me wrong, Pixar movies are great and all, but they just don't have any magic in them.

  • It's just really funny how this is set in 1920s and Tiana could have a rich white girl as her BFF. For being set in 1920s, It's amazing how black people can walk the streets and go into any public building without being harassed by white people.

To think about it, it took the Disney company 80 years to have a black princess. I feel 2008-2009 are the years where black people can be things we didn't think possible, like being president or the new Disney princess.

  • i hope the next princess follows another religions morals,a lot of there movies and tv specials are Christian,it seems really biased and wrong,im Christian but after a while the princesses seem to always do the same thing, WWJD ,i wish the next princess follows a different religion

  • disney classics are always the best

  • What John lacks in hair he makes up for in 2-D passion that rivals the love affair of Zhuo Wenjun and Sima Xiangru during the Han Dynasty.

  • The princesses facial profile was based on my cousins face.

  • I love how you only talked to childern, Since thats who the movie is aimed at. I also enjoyed how none of your questions asked about the princess's race. Good job! Every time theres a new movie out this is the first place i come to get a review. You ask the people who matter, the people who are average joes and not some person whose is paid to talk about a movie. Keep the reviews coming Love them!

  • tiana was too black, lol!

  • to black?

what should she have been high "yeller"

  • I haven't seen it yet, but I did think the animation style looked really good. I would love to see more styles like this(:!

  • i thought she was black (dont worry...im black)

  • omg she is sooo annoyyyinnggggg sheesh.

  • Loved the introduction, very informative.

Oh wow, I was laughing so hard. Children are so stupid. hahaha

  • As someone who lives in New Orleans, I can say that it was amazing to see Disney draw the swamps and the streets of the south. Every character was amazing, even the bad guy, and the overtones of voodoo were really transferred well into the movie.

  • I ask every single boy in my school, they say they don't want to see this movie cuz it's The PRINCESS and the Frog. Way to act mature, guys. (sarcasm)

  • I saw this movie and it was great! 5 stars!!!

  • @kocaj17 i found it racist just by the trailer they say she is a princess but she is a middle class(maybe lower) waitress that is no princess

  • Then what was cinderella, or belle from beauty and the beast

  • touché, your right haha

  • @threj0760

she turns into a princess, dumbass. I haven't even seen the movie and I realized that.

And even if she wasn't a princess, how would that be racist? Calling someone who's not a princess and princess? How does that insult black people?

Really, its just pathetic how much some people try to find racism in simple things.

  • @1boyos1 i already said i was wrong thanks anyways...

  • thank you the trailer turned me off to

  • @kocaj17

Get over your racism stunt. They aren't ghetto whatsoever; they are from New Orleans. Only a few places in Nawlins are ghetto, and that actually insults me by you saying that.

Second of all, dont you think that whites are the only racist people in the world. You are most likely very racist against white people, considering you grouped us all together and said that all white people need to "Open your eyes."

Shut up until you stop being such a hypocrite, asshole.

  • hello read carefully i never said new orleans ppl were ghetto but if u know black history witch you dont you would know that the animals are exacly like the ''black crows'' and another thing why is she the only princess to be in an exact area like new new orleans the others were under the see inchanted forrest n she is from new orleans come on they made it racist with every negative sterotype they could think of you need to do ya history and open your eyes

  • soooooo you are a fucking idiot

  • Those little kids didn't understand how amazing this movie was.

  • the best part of it.............. was th biddle

  • METAL GEAR SOLID

  • This wasn't a review...

  • They never are

  • This is the first time I've seen one of these. I'm disappointed... :'(

  • people are calling this a return to classic Disney princess animation, but they are so wrong, it has all the elegance and beauty of one but also adding real characters that you could relate to... and talking frogs

    8/10

  • really great stuff

  • she has an annoying voice :P

  • Some of the kids' responses disturbed me, but other than that most of these reviews were great. You should've thrown in a few adults though, but great episode guys!

  • I feel kind of insulted at this push at being super PC with all the black stuff. Don't wanna see it?

    Racist.

Don't wanna buy all the crap they put out?

    Racist.

    Fuck Disney.

  • DAT RITE DER IZ A NIGGER

  • wondering if they made a deal with a designer to wear a certain brand of t-shirts....

  • You should do an Indy Mogul build on Altiar's wrist knife from assassins creed

  • A) This is Beyond the Trailer, not BFX.

    B) They made a spring-loaded gun you could hide under your sleeve once, just modificative it.

  • The litle girls are SOO cute! Wonderful job Grace!

  • "I liked it really much" haha classic.

  • Although, Howard Ashman DID work with Alan Menkin, so even though they don't have the team dynamic anymore, Alan Menkin has been able to do some great work alone. Saying that the animated films rested on Ashman's shoulders, though, might be giving him a bit too much credit. I think that "Honor" would go to Katzenberg.

  • Finally Disney Woke up and make a 2D animated movie instead of all the shit that pixar pulled out of their ass

  • pixar shit?

  • I learned children are retarded

  • whats a disney princess?

  • 3:12! CUTE!

  • Mulan is not a princess. She married a GENERAL not a prince. And I'm glad they finally included Pocahontas as a princess. I mean, sheesh, took them long enough.

  • Disnay "princess" is a term for a Disney animated feature main female character.

  • Not really. Disney "Princess" is a franchise to make money. The reason Mulan is included is because she's Asian. If it were just that, then Eilonwy, Alice, Lady, and so on, would all be princesses.

  • @ChaoticButterfly wow you commented on a lot of comments. Mad props.

  • you guys should build a prop barrett sniper rifle

  • disney sucks balls without pixar and this movie looks crap because of it

  • Your logic is backwards. Disney would be just fine if they continued to do more 2D.

  • 1:23 how is mulan considered a princess she only marries a general of the imperial army. Also who is the 3rd princess from the left

  • kitchean

that girl is phocohantas i think

  • The one in the pink? Sleeping Beautiy.

  • You know about that don;t you XD ?

  • that is whats her face from sleeping beauty

  • @kitchean thats jasmine from aladin

  • @deathless3 You should learn your lefts from rights.

  • @kitchean Aurora from Sleeping Beauty.

  • She's in there honorarily, to cover the Asian girls.

  • They should have interviewed at least an adult or two. Little kids tend to see the latest movie they've seen as "the best movie ever."

  • Oh, btw a review with only 5 little girls isn't really a great review.

  • I saw it and it was awesome. The animation is great, the comedy is super solid, and even the songs are great.

  • THIS LOOKS SHIT

  • WTH does that guy says on 0:23 ???

  • Glad to see that disney is making 2D animation again.

  • " Don´t mess with magic "

    " voodo magic " :D

  • im a guy and i wanna see it
