I'm on oral chemo now- have been ever since I was able to stop the IV chemo in 2007. I get mouth ulcers (have some really bad ones right now) and have all kinds of crazy and awful side effects and have been on prednisone for close to 10 years now and have osteoporosis now :( I had 4 vertebral fractures thanks to the osteoporosis and all types of fractures throughout my whole body. It's a really hard disease and when it's this severe it's hard too... how are YOU doing now? hope you're ok! <3
Did you have - or do you have a port a cath? your scar on your chest looks like the one of mine.... just wondered... I don't know many others who have one. I did IV chemo for 3.5 yrs for severe systemic lupus...
@CNDbutterflybabe Yup it's a port scar! :) That's crazy that you did chemo for that long! I thought my 7 months was annoying. Hope everything is better or at least is manageable now! :)
i bet this was nothing compared to what your cancer treatments where...way to go being a tropper I cannot say that I would be able to handel sucha a thing
i used to be shit scared of needles ha but i had to go with my mum one time and i was in town and i knew i couldnt cry so i kinda got over my fear then and there lol
@saddiecalico Not yet! Lol. I'm a cancer survivor and this was a few months after treatment so they kinda had to rebuild my immune system by giving me a lot of vaccinations. I think I'm done now! :)
@ItsMSquizzle All of those shots are for diseases that don't really exist (for the most part) anymore... Unless they killed every last memory cell in your immune system, this should be unnecessary. If you lost immunity to everything, you would ALWAYS be sick just like a young kid again.

nope they dont hurt. i do not get shots because first our bodies were made to be naturally immuned so i eat healthier than u can imagine and second my moms a docter who DOESNT want me to get shots but i stopped getting them when i was 5 so i rememeber that they dont hurt
