I like Welker alot (esp as Megatron), but Ironside is the definitive Darkseid. Also, no 1 show Darkseid the star wars films, it will cause him 2 develop a sense of humour. he'll b making puns about "u don't know the power of the darkside" left right and centre
I would have liked to have seen some villian in the Wonder Woman live action series design the same type of machine to use on her during seasons 2 & 3 with the same intentions as Darkseid.
I completely agree:the produicers of the live action series should had brought back Hamlin Rule for an episode during the third season. Hamlin Rule could had built a machine similar to the one that Darkseid used in this video and used the machine to hypnotyze Wonder Woman. Such an episode would had been much better than most of the strories that were featured during the third (and final) season.

Hamlin Rule would blame Wonder Woman for his problems;with a strong desire for revenge and a desperate need for money, Hamlin Rule would build a bigger and more powerful mind control machine and use the machine to hypnotyze Wonder Woman and program her to commit robberies for him.
This would had made a great episode because the focus would had been on Wonder Woman;unfortunately, by the middle of the second season, the focus of the show had shifted from Wonder Woman to Diana Prince. Who wants to watch a show about Diana Prince when the title of the show is "The New Adventures of Wonder Woman"?

That's not completely true;though Darkseid would weaken Wonder Woman physically if he chained her barcelets together (Wonder Woman loses her Amazon powers when she is chained by a man), he wouldn't control her mind. If Darkseid wants Wonder Woman to be his bride, he should tie up Wonder Woman with her own magic lasso;bound with her own lasso, Wonder Woman would be compeled to marry Darkseid when he proposed to her.
Take that voice, give it the same treatment they gave Hugo Weaving for '07 Megatron, and THERE you have the perfect voice for a cinematic Darkseid. >:) Come on, Warner Bros., get with the program and show Superman fighting a REAL adversary! :P

Oh, I noticed the change. How I hated her new voice as a kid. Her old voice made her sound powerful and authoritative. The new voice made her sound weak and helpless. They also turned her into a damsel in distress. Disgusting.
I noticed it too when I first saw the show...I was so used to Shannon Farnon's voice as Wonder Woman...wasn't too keen on B.J. Ward's voice at all. But I did like how the animators drew her hair after all those years.
I've enjoyed Auberjenois's voice in a lot of cartoons. I noticed he also played other parts in the JLU cartoon. He's been acting and voice acting for a long time now.
so dr. claw and darkseid were the same person, no wonder you never saw dr. claw's face in the cartoon, and now i've got new respect for inspector gadget, going up against darkseid and winning all the time.
Plus he said penetrate and wonderwoman dangerously close 2 each other, LMAO!
yeah his voice was cool. i liked his voice on superman tas on the first episode he was in also, but later on, his voice changed, not as good as it was.
it may look cheesy in comparison to justice leauge but it did pave the way for the justice leauge and the teen titans. rene aborjenois did an excellent job playing desad on the super powers team and on justice leauge unlimited
