  • absolutely fabulous work...

  • @rpmartino have you concidered sending this to Mr. Ian Anderson? When I hear your music, I suddenly get the urge to take my Djembe drum for a spin. Respect!

    Namaste.

  • Suggestion: YYZ

  • Thank you!

  • Beautifully played! Nice one! Keep it coming....

  • That is simply wonderful. I'm speechless ! Incredible tone and clarity ! A great tune to demonstrate the range and abilities of this instrument !

  • Amazing, there`s so much feeling. I think it really brings out JT`s writing style with clarity.

  • request....mother goose,

  • Truly amazing...

  • I've never heard a Chapman Stick sound so good! Beautiful playing too

  • Beautiful tone setup and playing, I like to watch and listen - thanks for sharing!

  • beautiful. and the sound is pristine. mate, how do you get it so loud, yet still with all those great dynamics?

  • @Zander4724 Thanks Zander- I use a peak limiter on the master output in Logic to bring up the overall volume (the tricky part is finding the balance between volume and not squashing the peaks too much). I still feel like it's kinda soft compared to other music videos, thanks for the comment :-)

  • Absolutely love this. I come back to this video every so often for my fill. Great stuff.

  • Awesome as usual, Rob. I may have to do a bass tapping version now - surely won't be as good as this tho~

  • @Mr5stringBob IF you do a bass tapping version can you post a tab of it pls?

  • @DazManCat Sure. Working on a few other things first tho - maybe by the end of June.

  • i just discovered this song through you.

just see why youtube should keep allowing people to play other people's material.

  • You're amazing, sir. Keep up the good work.

  • Lovely version, Mr. Martino, as are the others. Out of curiosity, how often do you go theough a set of strings?

  • @pacree mostly due to laziness, I go about 8-12 months between string changes :-) thanks

  • awesome! i was just doing some jethro tull listening recently as well . perfect timing :D

  • amazing

  • I am always Amazed when i hear someone play a Chapman Stick ! Great Job..

    Love the Tull covers!

  • excellent, I got lost in middle part of the song.. wish is was longer

  • You, sir, are a winner.

    Sick stuff, keep it up!

  • beautiful job, Rob

  • @troubleclef thanks troubleclef, you remind me that I need to do a Wond'ring Again arrangement, so I started working on it last night! After all I already know half the tune! (just have to add some harmony to some of the melodic lines, which you do very well in your arrangement)

  • Very cool this!!!!

  • My fav part 1:41-1:46

  • Fantastic!
