  • So your intention is to polarize? Wow, you sure are controversial!

  • @EvilReptiles I got a response from you didn't I? You taking notes?

  • @theodyssey2010 LoL!! loosing weight does not mean becoming healthier!! a super skinny person can be sicker then an overweight person!! FACT!! u gotta be healthy first to normalize body fat%! u can loose scale weight but can be water, glycogen, bone dencity and lean tissue!! Worst weight lost!!

  • The simple fact remains that, at the end of the diet, you STILL haven't learned to use food responsibly and you end up right back where you started. Yes, they say it resets your metabolism back to normal. But, you started life with a normal metabolism and you STILL got into trouble. He may be polarizing, even abrasive but, he's right on this score.

  • "while HCG may not be the healthiest way to go, being fat is even more unhealthy, and for some people this is their last resort! Im assuming you are nor have ever been morbidly obese, with complications and such, so you would not understand." i found that by someone who has successfully done hcg.

  • @theodyssey2010 You shouldn't assume anything.

  • I went from 432 to 310 that was two yrs ago so please stop talking about something you know about,i only gained 60 back, and that is only because i starting eating without any care at all.doctors gaved me five yrs to leave tell me hcg did not save my life no more meds for (hbp) diabetes.cholesterol ect:-)

  • @bertlam23 You went from 432 to 370 and you call that a success???? The mind boggles!

  • how is an argument for taking this crap "now i can exercise!" if you feel like you need to take this then it means you have energy to exercise stored in multiple places all over your body. stop being so damn lazy thats probably how you became overweight in the first place

  • @YesieB61 Good call. It's really out of hand.

  • This is all very sad. Its a shame that some people will just never have the self discipline to just adjust their lifestyle.

  • @lukashansenbecker315 We live in a society where lazy folks ( women who take HCG) want a quick fix no matter the ramifications.

  • @shanegeorgebennett The same reason you're watching...

  • @Link2676 It needed to be said.

  • LMAO. Different things work for Different people. Most people who participate in HCG use a modified protocol. I modified and lost over 80 lbs. I have not gained any weight back and built tons of new muscle. It is much more dangerous and unhealthy Before hcg my waist line was over 40inches ( Dangerous) Now it is 29 . It is more dangerous to be obese. I also ate plenty of vegetables, healthy fat, and protein. I'm not sure who you have gotten your info from, but you should do more research.

  • @AshleyAnns1 Dr. Simeons. YOu are so far off base it's scary. Try to keep up.

  • @FigureAthletes I am a real person who HAD a real weight problem. Using hcg helped me get rid of lbs & inches. The numbers don't lie. I have my regular doctors appointments & I'm healthy. They are quite happy to see that i have dropped all the excess weight. I also have more endurance now and I can cross my legs. I successfully completed the protocol day by day. So I am not just speaking from what i have heard or read. I'm speaking from what I know and have experienced first hand.

  • @AshleyAnns1 Nothing healthy about taking drugs to lose wt while eating twigs & berries and no exercise at all.

  • Respond to this video... You should try to keep up. It is very sad that you are trying to discourage people from dropping unhealthy and unwanted body weight. I know tons of people who have done hcg. They are now off of the hypertension, cholesterol, and diabetic medication. They can exercise, move, tie their shoes, etc. Everyone takes their own path to health and weight loss. btw I'm very on base. I used to wear a 18/20 now i'm a 6/8. So U Keep Up <3

  • @AshleyAnns1 Sorry you're too fat to keep up... or understand.

  • Thanks a lot for sharing your Knowledge.

  • @TrainToSmileTV Don't mention it.

  • @socalplum THats like saying there is a right "protocol" for drinking poison. THere is NO right "protocol" for doing something that is harmful!

  • @socalplum THats like saying there is a right "protocol" for drinking poison. THere is NO right "protocol" for doing something that is harmful!

  • @FigureAthletes I will remove my comment because you obviously have no clue what you are talking about.

  • @socalplum LOL obviously not, I've only written customized eating patterns for over a thousand folks all around the globe. With an unmatched list of testamonials & before/after photos to back up the success.

  • @FigureAthletes wow thousands? impressive resume! i guess we will just have to agree to disagree regarding hcg. i sincerely wish you well.

  • @socalplum Gee thanks.

  • Thanks, I apologise to be fair.

  • if someone loses weight on HCG or any diet, they WONT gain the weight back unless they eat more then they spend! easy as that! you can go on any diet even without exercise lose weight and keep it off! simply saying if someone does a HCG diet will eventually gain it back is misleading!

  • @5k1killer There is more to the equation then simply kcals in vs. kcals out. For example, food type, spiked leptin levels, the thermogenic affect of food, metabolism, and body composition of the individual.

  • @FigureAthletes not true! you can eat trash food all day long, if you are in your caloric range the rest does not matter! you can eat trash and if its in your macro range then you are fine! is it healthy probably not! but fat loss yes! go look at bodybuilders that follow IIFYM they look fine... healthy!?

  • @5k1killer LOL @ some ameture trying to "teach" me something about nutrition! where do you kids believe this foolishness from? lol Newsflash!! You can eat ANYTHING and still look good if you have good enough genetics!

  • @FigureAthletes "where do you kids believe this foolishness from?"

Um sir *raises hand* How bout the New England Journal of Medicine for starters.

"LOL @ some ameture trying to "teach" me something about nutrition!"

Now for my lesson to you in logical fallacies. Look up Argument from authority -Guru- LOL

  • @LexPhilogus LOL! Not another 20- something "know it all" who thinks if he reads an article he immediately becomes an expert! Try to keep up junior.

  • I do yes, I didn't thumb it down personally. I watched it because it was sent to me, as I said no offence intended.

  • @planetrockford You ok in my book!

  • thanks u

  • =-)

  • Never heard of this diet, your message is a good one but high dislike number may be because you come across as arogant. No personal offence intended at all.

  • @planetrockford Gee ya think?

  • if you're doing the diet properly, it says exercise is permitted. I also says not to do it too extreme for you are only getting 500 calories, so you want to savor that energy.

  • @tigertz11 LOL thats like saying the "proper" way to slash your wrists lol. There is no "proper" way to do something for you that causes you harm.

  • Thank you

  • it's true. Hcg diet will eventually make you gain the weight back. It's basically unrealistic to never eat carbs/sugar again...once you do...you gain the weight back. Ive done 3 rounds over 2 years...and guess what. Gained it ALL BACK. This diet sucks. Never again will I do it.

  • @lalalooloo if you had a smart, healthy diet + exercise along w/ the right type of carbs, fats & protein you would not have gained the weight back that you had lost.

  • @FigureAthletes I don't recall asking for your advice. All I said was I would never do hcg diet again and yes I did gain it back but I'm good now.But thanks for your input.

  • @lalalooloo I don't recall asking you to post on my page, but hopefully you learned your lesson junior.

  • I have been over weight all my life. I have been off of the hcg diet for close to two years. I love the energy i have and the awesome comfort i have with myself. I just did my senior portraits today and i've never felt better! It helped me to stay on track and stick to healthy. I'm happy i did it. Close to thirty pounds lost on hcg and the next thirty i dropped on my own knowing that i have the ability to do it. I believe there are many ways to lose weight. Hcg was a great kick start.

  • @llkimall starving yourself and dropping all exercise is NEVER a good way to "kickstart" weight loss. Sorry!

  • @FigureAthletes I have done and still do aerobics five days out of the week, although last year i traded it out for weight training. And running the island on Fridays and zumba on Tuesdays. I certainly never dropped exercise.

  • @hsnnut LOL! Listen you old goose, A 55 year old obese hen like yourself has no place talking about "eating healthy" lol

  • @hsnnut - here's your research

    S Afr Med J. 1990 Feb 17;77(4):185-9

And the foundation of HCG use is as alternative to anabolic steroids:

    J Clin Invest. 1950;29(5):619–629.

    Now where is your research?

  • he is right!! this diet is really bad!!! one of the reason is that when u unlock stored fat for fuel u lower your thyroid function and metabolism in general as stored fat tends to be unsaturated and those fats are antithyroid!! u dont gain weight because u eat too much or exercise too little! its because you have very low metabolism and poor thyroid function!! learn from dr.Pay Peat!!

  • @mokugin81 THats true but the type of woman who would follow such a diet does not think logically therefore a reasonable debate goes out the window. lol

  • @berenicej69 really? Then why do you still have 3 chins?

  • Don't even mention that down regulation of leutinizing hormone

  • @Siceone Thats about a mile over their heads Carl ; )

  • @hsnnut lol looks like I got you mad as a wet hen. Who cares, you're still big as a house.

  • Oh, and just in case your thinking of going ahead and doing HCG any way. Remember, only the injections are legitimate. Do not fall for sprays.. drops.. pills.. only injects give the actual boost of LH.

  • Bottom Line:

If you want to do the HCG diet, fine. Your choice, your life, I respect your choice. But it's not a miracle. It's not a secret, and the reason why you succeeded is because you did a crash diet and stuck with the after affects

At least this guy is willing to make a statement and back it up with the results he gets, and continues to get his clients.

  • Since every one is talking about science lets consider a few facts shall we:

Fact: No lab study has proven HCG to have any benefit over a regular 500 cal diet. NONE

    S Afr Med J. 1990 Feb 17;77(4):185-9

The foundation of HCG use is as alternative to anabolic steroids:

    J Clin Invest. 1950;29(5):619–629.

This is why it limits hunger pangs and "maintains muscle"

  • @fitnessnrd Thats true

  • Hey as long as I am losing weight wtf do you care how..Your way is retarded

  • @Lizardking89squeen lol my way is the HEALTHY WAY! Be patient, you'll gain it all back

  • @ElisaGIH Really? Than why does Dr. Simeons call for a breadstick (grissino) or a piece of melba toast?

I've also see another clinic suggest a bowl of Special -K for breaky. Try to keep up.....

  • @FigureAthletes ok, granted, that could have been skipped - many in fact do skip it. But from one breadstick a day to saying that you are eating 500 calories of junk food there is a loooooong way. Some might say you were embellishing just to make your opinion sound valid.

The diet focuses doesn't include junk food. However how some decide to modify it in their twisted way... well, that just goes to show how dumb and ignorant people are. Dr. Simeon's program shouldn't be judged based on that.

  • @ElisaGIH Sorry but Cereal and bread IS junk food!

  • @FigureAthletes my point is that you said that the diet is filled with junk food, and it is not. I don't agree with the breadstick, but if that's what it takes for some people to stick to it, whatever. It may not be great, but it is still not 500 calories of junk food - the diet isn't "filled with junk food."

Anyway - you seem determined to defend your video at all costs, even if you are spreading misinformation through it, so whatever I guess. Best of luck.

  • @ElisaGIH ahh the obligatory female response. When you're eating 500kcals , WHAT you are eating is the least of your problems. Try to keep up.

  • You are so off based on HCG it is pityful. I know women who have lost over 120 pounds on it and kept it off

and couple of them it has been 2 years. And yes it is 500 calories but it sure isn't processed foods.

Lean meat, green veggies..basically you are giving up carbs and fats but that is a good thing. I think

you need to do some more research before you go spouting off your mouth.

  • @Lizardking89squeen You will have the metabolism of a garden SLUG by eating only 500kcals a day, I don't care WHAT You eat.

  • @Lizardking89squeen You need to watch my video again junior, Try to keep up.

  • @rach111718 Of course not, that's why you're posting here lol

  • @berenicej69 low calorie doesn't mean healthy.

  • @FigureAthletes I didnt say low calorie, I am eating now for the rest of my life without sugar & starch, Im done with the 500 cal part, lost 68 pounds, & I feel wonderful, Im ready to hit the gym now, & continue eating my protein, healthy fats, fruits & veggies. I dont eat any of the evil whites like pasta, bread, sugar, its not good for you, just wanted you to know I do like my food, & i am always making things that sub out the bad stuff with healthy now. Im 5'3 & I weigh 126 now, Im happy =)

  • @berenicej69 haha all your fat will come back just be patient ; )

  • @berenicej69 Really? You could have fooled me!

  • what is wrong with you? its not a drug for starters- 2nd its nothing like anerexia- you dont eat whatever you want on loading days, you eat healthy fats, not junk- I lost 100 in 6 months with hcg- get your facts straight- I workout every day on hcg and never gained anything back and didnt lose any muscle on the diet-

  • @carissahcg You must have weighed 400 lbs when you started then.

  • @FigureAthletes nope- went from 277 to 177 in 14 weeks of actual dieting-

  • @carissahcg Don't worry, be patient, you'll gain it all back.
