  • can you use HK91 furniture/grips/handguards/etc. on the CETME?

  • Koch, = "Coke"

  • good review if ur ever in -40f or colder make sure its not over oiled or things bend n snap. dont ask just trust me

  • la version americana es de plastico. La madera ha sido cambiada por plastico negro.

  • i nearly choked when i herd him say Heckler & Cock

  • Its pronounced Heck-ler and Coke. Should have spent the money on a PTR91 imo.

  • when you put your scope mount on the gun, does it scratch it at all?

  • hahahaha he said heckler and cock...ive owned a cetme for over 5 years,,shot it alot and ive only had a handful of jams..not bad considering the thousands of rounds that have been put through it

  • i just bought 30 mags and dont have the rifle yet :D

  • This gun is crap...I've had 2 and both will jam and the bullet case will blow up in the chamber. Buy the saiga .308 very more reliable. This guy has not really shot this gun enough to give a good review. Don't buy this rifle, it looks cool but to many problems..

  • G3 extended mags and G3 mags work great in the CETME

  • Does that scope mount work well ?and if so what is it?If not which scope mount works best for century cetme? thanks

  • 2;10 heckler and cock? haha

  • heckler and cock? haha

  • MADE IN SPAIN

  • dang dude that scope is a bit high lol

  • Why would it be weird to have the charging handle on the left side as a righty? o_O

  • @aramaki23 - Does this Rifle (Straight outta the box) have any trigger slap/ how is the trigger on it, like whats the trigger pull, how far do you have to pull it, is it crisp, things like that. Sincerely- Brownnz.

  • CHRIS35128 my bad . I worked 14hours ELBOW1989!! Plus college finals.

  • to CHRIS3581 the makers of the PTR-91 make a identical rifle n 7.62x39mn that uses regular AK47 mags. I have cetme M-14-PT91. M14 is more accurate out of all 3. I have AK47s built in OK. that r better then my PTR.

  • i have an HK style front site post on one of my AKs, i like it a lot, though ive never been a fan of the AK rear site.

  • i want one, i just cant afford the ammo at the moment :/

  • Ok never understood why anyone feels the need to do a safe check when you're the owner of the gun. If you shoot yourself its your business. I don't care if you are handling YOUR gun safely. Just tell me about the gun system. Geez. And what's with the empty mag?

  • G3 aluminum military surplus 20 rounders work flawlessly, check out cheaper than dirt. I have a ban era cetme anf I love it. yours appears to have better welds. weight is between 9-10 lbs

  • @hkphanatic I just bought cetme the other day had to return it as it would not cycle...Is yours a new onr from century or is it a few years old? And you say the HK alumium mags work flawly? i got one from a friend used dremel lightly to make it fit then it would only manually feed 1st round and would'nt grab anymore...Did you add scope mount? which one works best? thanks

  • G3 aluminum military surplus 20 rounders work flawlessly, check out cheaper than dirt. I have a ban era cetme anf I love it.

  • why would you do a safety check on youtube? i don't think anyone on here is afraid that they're gonna get shot over the internet. think about it.

  • @entermydeathmask, yes mines came with a stamped HK mag. They're really cheap too , sometimes a $1 a mag !

  • @AKFORDAYS, I own a cetme and I know when I researched changing the rear sights to HK drum sights it requires the whole mounting bracket to be cut off and the HK bracket to be welded on. If you go to rtg you can find all the little things cheap. He has clipped and pinned HK polymer lowers that are set up to slap right on a cetme and give it an HK look

  • do not shoot 308 ammo in this weapon it is chambered for 7.62x51

  • @hkphanatic -__- if its a 7.62 nato then you can shoot .308win through it

  • @GotAmmo21 .308 and 7.62 nato are not the same. The brass is thinner and the shoulder is different.

  • @banditned Yes all I said (if you would have read the comment before commenting) is that you can shoot .308 out of a rifle chambered in 7.62x51mm.

  • Looking to buy one of these and your review was most helpful...will be checking your channel often ! Thanks !

  • Can they fire a 7.62x39?

  • @chris35128 no

  • great to hear the history good job bro

  • GERMAN GUNS BEST GUNS

  • Has anyone ever told you that you sound a lot like Ralphie May?

    Nice rifle by the way.

  • hay man love the Review and the gun. i was thinking about buying a cetme an moding it with the h&K trigger (mgr-279) and th g3 rear sight (MGR-271) from cheaper then dirt but it says that thay does not fit the cetme. what dod u think?

  • Heckler & Cock.

  • @razgriz4977 lmao.

    -TEW

  • Oh, and one more thing. The reason the charging handle is on the left side is so that you can reload and charge the weapon without ever having to remove your hand from the pistol grip.

  • I have to say that it is a very reliable weapon. Far better than any M-16/M-4 or any civilian variant. The only part that requires attention is the actual wheel locking mechanism but not so much that its ever a problem. As long as you take care of the rifle it will continue to fire without any stoppage.

  • Hey I own the same Optics montage thing and even my scope looks similar...

  • Thanks for sharing~ Just bought one myself and enjoyed the video. Thumbs up

  • will this take g3 mags?

  • I could never get my Century Arms Cetme to shoot more then even a few rounds before it would mess up somwhow with failure to extract failure to feed you name it .Their customer service is crap too . I'll NEVER get another Century Arms product again

  • hey everybody who wants to make $ onparts

    plz contact me

  • do you have military experience?

  • modify for inch mags??

  • not spanish... portugal --'

  • I own a G3A3 fully auto and it's pretty awesome. How much are they in USA?

  • God Bless SPAIN

  • hey man im thinkin bout getting one of these to fill the role of a designated marksman rifle, from someone who actually owns one of these i was wondering if you coud describe to me the accuracy, cause it is either this or a saiga 308, thanks

  • @toymachine87 For the price CETME's is a great buy. But if you got the $ go for a PTR-91 ... theyre awsome. Or AR-10, less rugged (its the AR-15s big brother) but even more accurate.

  • i would say it does beat the m16 as far as range goes

  • i like this rifle. but i cannot stand the safety. having to awkwardly flip it up to fire. switch s with f and its all good.

  • hey man where did u get the parts for your cetme. i found some HK parts but not sure if they will fit the cetme.

  • heckler and cock huh?

  • Is there a CA legal version? Any 10 round mags for this gun? I want a budget tactical carbine with out the limitation of the 5.56 round. Looking at this, a mini-30 or an sks.

  • heckler and cock looool

  • all CETME suck ass! get a PTR or a real HK if you want to LIVE through a gun fight!

  • @swansongusa bullcrap use em love em

  • Sturmgewehr was the father of the ak47?

  • @bigjer123

    yeah

  • isnt the Mendoza rifle technically the first assault rifle? or is it an LMG???

  • I was going to pick one up but after checking out the ammo price, I DONT want it

  • @shawnsent for 40 bucks you can get 100 round packs of Brown Bear or Silver Bear on ammunitiontogo . com. and no, im not spamming

  • damn, they should make a new version or receiver kits to reduce weight!Need to go to the gym to handle that barrel of lead weights!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ahahaha

  • whats the best ammo u have used in this rifle?

  • The Cetme evolved from STG45, search the Cetme A, the Cetme B prototypes... the Cetme C is the final evolution on 7.62x51 NATO, the gun what build HK under licence named he G3... and evolved in mp5, hk33... its the best Battle Rifle ever made... because the AK47 has lowest power and acurazy than the Cetme.

  • hey is it 308 nato or 308 winchester?

  • heckler and kock?

  • this gun looks like a G3Ka4

  • Can you feed it cheap ammo, wolf, silver brown bear, surplus

  • It's a good, solid battle rifle. It doubles as a great club too (won't break like ARs and isn't awkward / midget sized like AKs). Perfect for protection against zombies.

  • Dude fix the information you have, its not CAI its CIA. Century International Arms.

  • i think that the charging handle on the left was made so you never take your hand off of grip and trigger

  • So basically, were the CETME and FN FAL both offspring of the Sturmgewehr?

  • @1bentley4ever yeah

  • @aramaki23 Cool, too bad Californians can't get them.

  • @aramaki23 so was the AK

  • @aramaki23 is that a UTG rail/scope mount

  • @1bentley4ever Why dont you be intelligent and look it up? The designs were the result of a continuity project which the west german state and other european states and nations adopted as the standard cold war nato rifle.

  • @Pawnbroker00 I admit I am being unjustifiably lazy. Thanks for the info. I will be less lazy and look into it more. :P

  • @1bentley4ever

Cetme came first i believe. just look up the STG 58. thats the german/austrian FAL.

  • @beans0909 Replaced by the Steyr AUG, just as NZ, and Australia's SLR was replaced by the AUG. STG 58 is not to be mistaken for the Stgw 57, which is a different weapon but similar by 7.62 mm and a similar roller blocking delayed blowback design.

  • @1bentley4ever -narrator is mistaken-the first german assault rifle was the MP41 . the HK series is based on the last MP of nazi germany's ;the sturmgewehr MP 45, which utilized locking rollers. the dude is right on regarding HKs reliability which rivals the Kalashnikov, thanks to the magazine being far superior to the m16's.

all full sized 7,62 nato battle rifles are heavier than 5.56 assault rifles. the stiffer charging handle of the G3 is because the german system is recoil, not gas operated

  • @bademoxy - The MP41 is not a assult rifle. Its a sub-machine gun using pistol cartridge, more communally know as a machine pistol.

  • i own a cetme, by century. i like it for a .308 self loader as it can fire rounds that cant be fired in the m1a due to the gas system. its heavy and the ammo is heavy, 10 loaded mags in a pack will lug you out.

  • @sethwyo true that heavy gun for sure

  • @aramaki23 Hecler and Cock hahahahahah

  • so sick

  • Is this gun pretty good? I found one for like 450 bucks. Seem's pretty cheap for a .308. Was it worth the money?

  • @Fuck3288 i would jump all over one for $450

  • @Fuck328 I know its late but I got one for 450, good gun, we had to grind a pin in the slide that you pull back to open the chamber because it was hitting the inside of the housing, but after an hour of machining we were in business. The one we got is a reconditioned 308 from the spanish army. Dont plan on reloading though, most if the shells get destroyed while ejecting on ours. I think the H&K models would'nt tear up the casing, but thats over two grand!

  • @Fuck3288 I Just saw one for like 579$ thats still pretty cheap Whats the deal

  • @Fuck3288 yeah its just not an exspensive gun but for the price cant beat it in my opinion

  • @Fuck3288 I picked one up for $550.00 3 months ago and I just bought another on Sunday for $500...I love both of them!

  • would your suggest a cetme or ak variant like a m70 or amd65?

  • it is hard to say they are two different animals.... but i think Ak is a better combat fire arm in most cases.. but the Cetme has awesome firepower with he full sized .308 cal

  • If i had a G3, i'd keep it iron sights and put wood furniture on it

  • so i was wondering....where did u get the rails for that weapon???

  • Cheaper than Dirt

  • Solid review, keep em up.

  • Great gun..good review. 1) Barabara Frey is pushing UN gun ban here now (learn from JPFO do t org)This WILL affect US.

    2) US att general (Obama minion) wants a new law that gives him the right to disarm ALL on the gov'ts "watch list" confiscate door to door. (JPFO d ot or g) Est: 700,000 to over a million names. Wake up guys..write your reps. You may be on their list! VETS, Christians, Pro 2nders, Gov't critics etc. etc. Anyone they don't like will be disarmed. Makes no sense.

  • If they do start going door to door, disarming us, that will be the start of a war. It is all over from there. What is most screwed up about that list is they give you no reason why you are even on there to begin with nor do they tell you. You don't even know until you try to board a plane and then escorted by security into a dark room.

  • @makun16 SECOND AMENDMENT FOREVER!!!

  • This is not an autentic cetme, cetmes are spanish made, and in this model, the original uses wood not plastic.

  • Heckler and Cock? Coke man not cock.

  • Koch actually.... Heckler and Koch. H&K

  • Yeah, it is spelled Koch but it is pronounced "Coke"....actually.

  • @cameljoe212 Ive heard a German pronounce it as "Kosh"

  • @labartic I dont care, the customer service people at H and K say "coke". I have also heard the H and K guys at the Shot show, including a German, say "coke".It is pronounced Coke, end of argument.

  • @cameljoe212

    No, it's pronounced Koch.

But few americans can do it right so they just do it wrong and yell "DEAL WITH IT"

  • You say potato! I say Patatoe

  • I like how easy your mags release and pop in. I have to hit the bottom of my mags to seat them in good. Is their something I can do to make it smoother or more positive? Great gun and good review. Nice job & thanks.

  • Best thing/Cheapest thing you can do, if you have the know how, is to buy a CETME parts kit. Get yourself a G3 rear sight and sight base and some HK mags. Get a good quality reciever put it together and you got yourself a nice rifle.

  • how much are these? i saw one go for about 500 i think last month...are they worth the money?

  • The HK has a nice barrel sight on the rear. Much better than the peep sight.

  • i just bought one of these recently. the manual says it has a 19 1/4 inch barrel and weighs in at 9.5 pounds. however, i could believe 12 lbs. with mag and ammo. i cant comment on reliability yet, as cetmes have a break in period and I have not passed it yet. i dont think it gets as dirty as an AR. Accuracy is top notch. i would say it shoots as good as an AR but with a whole lot more punch. great vid.

  • A century arms CETME is as reliable as an ak, r u serious? I've heard horror stories about every gun Century makes especially the CETME. Im in the market for a .308 now I'd consider a century if they really have improved their quality that much, especially for the $ next to other .308s, I'll research further.

  • Yeah Back when it first came out they had some big problems but it seams that CAI fixed them... I still haven't had a malfunction yet with mine

  • yes, i have one, and after shooting a few hundred rounds though it, (& after cleaning it) the firing pin starts pecker tapping the primer cap on the shell. putting a indent, & sometimes the fuker even goes (bang) when you chamber a round!....its in the gun smith shop right now, but STILL!, if you buy a product, it should work properly

  • I hear a lot of complaints for the CETME. I just got one and it works great! I guess some of the home builds are out there and are iffy.

  • Well from what i can understand The Century CETME had some problems when it first came out but the ones they are putting out right now seem to be great guns

  • semi auto 308? Talk about firepower lol

  • Great video!!!!

  • Thank you very much =)

  • nice vid. I own 3 AK's All are converted Saigas. I trust and love the AK design, but if I could get the kind of accuracy out of this rifle that I do with my AR15 then I NEED to buy one! Does it get as gummed up (Dirty) as the AR15?

I'm honestly thinking about buying one.

  • It does get dirty like the AR's but it just keeps on shooting even dirty.

If you really are thinking about getting one now is the time to buy they are $500 on J&G sales that is $100 less than i payed.

  • Wolf steel ammo good to use?

  • I use it in mine and i don't see any problem

  • The CETME is a fine weapon!!You do want the weight with that cailber or it will really rock your shoulder under rapid fire!!

  • sadly, this is not a lefty friendly rifle (you don't want the charging handle on the same side as your trigger had too)

easily fixed with a saiga .308 though :)

  • yeah i think it is stupid how far up the charging handle is it makes reloads sooooooooooo slow.

  • think you very much

  • I can covert mine to be belt fed but don't have a way to attach a box to the side.

I stick to the 20rd mags but after 45 rds it heats up to the point where you have to let it cool before touching it. Kinda sucks I need to figure a way to cool it off it also jams a lot after this point.

  • Just a heads up I have recently bought the 50rd drum made by AA and it fires flawlessly, have fired around 600rds out of the 50rd drum

  • that is awesome how much was it and where did you get it?

  • I have it and love it!

  • what do you mean by MOA?

  • MOA stands for minute of angle if a gun is a 1MOA gun that means it will group all rounds within one inch at 100yards if it is a 2MOA gun all the rounds will be in a 2 inch group at 100 yards

  • I Love this gun

  • Intersting...thanks!!! =]
