@TrendyGuy1994 If your still looking for it, the lever is quite obvious to be honest. As you make your way to Hags End and fought your way to the top, the secret room should be behind the throne just before the entrance to the Top of Hags end to finish off the hagraven (Boss) The lever is just on the left side of the wall entrance to the room where the Assassin of Old lays dead, shouldn't be hard to miss m8

I have not yet beaten the dark brotherhood questline but I HAVE been to hags end for that misc quest. will the armor still have that high rating? or do i have to finish the dark brotherhood questline for the armor to show up with that high armor rating?

@DaSaiyanBoii well, you don't get the "ancient edition", with the armor it's sneak skill is increased by 100 percent (ala video) but the armor given to you in the dark brotherhood storyline is just resistance to poison, plus i think the other stats like muffling and bow damage is increased compared to the regular gloves/boots

@caw1995 It's a thief armour and doesn't have that sweet 2x backstab damage bonus which, combined with the 15x perk, allows you to one-shot almost anything in the game.

Power sneak attack in Nightingale will only do 30x the damage of normal attack.

Power sneak attack in Shrouded will do 60x.

Nightingale is better looking, but it has a different purpose. Ancient Shrouded is by far a better stealth combat armour.

By doing the Dark Brotherhood quest to recieve Olava's token and using it to gain access to the Ancient assassin like in the video, you recieve "Ancient Dark Brotherhood armour" which is the same except it has improved enchantments. Therfore better.

Gr8 vid and for those who don't know the lever isn't there until u get the reading from the old lady if u do one of the main dark brotherhood quests(forgot what it's called)the bonus to that quest is that u get a reading of your future and then the lever magically appears after the lady says there's an assassin that left u something

@GtaRockt Mine does that too. I also have Cicero's jester hat too. I noticed that when I put Cicero's Jester hat on while still having the cowl on, I received both bonuses. Not 100% sure on the stats off the top of my head. But Cicero's hat is +35% sneak and the cowl is +35% bow damage.  If you check Magic - Active Effects (?) it says the bonuses are there for both.

This is not the best assassin armor, If you start killing the dark brotherhood "by killing astrid" you get to kill all of the dark brotherhood.When you do so you will get armor from dead bodys. Some of these bodys have the diffrient armor.Pick it up and look at what it says,Then tell me if this is better.:D
