dude thats not upgrading thats like a whole new computer, if u didnt use such expensive shit like the 800D you could probably get a better cpu and mobo
With the cash from the 950W PSU and the 800D alone, you could build a whole new AM3 / Core i series machine with DDR3 memory and good graphics.. Just an excuse for Corsair to flog their overpriced case and CPU cooler. Corsair make good PSU's and RAM.. But that's where the ball stops rolling.
im sorry, i do luv corsair ive got the 800D case myself but i hate seeing videos of just the H50 in the 800D case its a complete waste of space if ur just gonna watercool the cpu wiv the H50 atleast get a smaller case, I mean come on all u need is a 120mm fan exhaust WHICH NEAR ENOUGH EVERY CASE HAS GOT!! case closed :D
Why switch from a better case? Lian Li makes the best chassis. I've built several systems with different Lian Li cases and one with the 800D. The 800D is a very good case but is severly lacking in air intakes. I love the cable management system though. I have no problem with corsair as a company, infact I own a corsair PSU and h70 cooler and they are great.
@fagerbag no unless it corrupts itself while handling it and if you stick it in the same sata port it was it will surely work. i dont know what happens if you stick it in a different sata port because i never tried it
will the Corsair 600T Case be able to support the EVGA SR2 Motherboard? I really want to use a Corsair case for my build, but I don't know if it the SR2 will fit in nicely.
I actually think It´s the opposite, saw a review of the case and the guy complained about the airflow, but when he installed the H50 cooler and it made a big difference.
Going from a perfectly good Lian Li to a oversized 800D? I think I'll pass.
There was honestly nothing wrong with the previous case. The previous owner obviously didn't know how to manage his cables and crap. The video is technically misleading, but what do I expect? It's coming from corsair themselves.
Is there a corsair product (or other company) similar to the H50 for a GPU? I like the closed system and the low price. I have been looking but cant find it.
i dont care who says that they don know shit about hardware no drive including ssd drives have that much cache 64 is the max right now if i were u i would send that guy a message and ask him why hes tryin to scam people
@Cerebrosoft The idea here was to give us room to do more upgrades later. 800D + a 950W PSU might be overkill for the current system, but if you wanted to do a full overhaul to a SLI/Crossfire system later, you'd have a case and PSU that could accommodate.
I was thinking of buying a 800D but I honestly think its a little to big for my liking. Is there any hope in the future for a medium sized tower in the future? And if so, when?
@Cerebrosoft one that plans for the power he will need in the future, rather than one that will get him by long enough to watch a porn movie like you do
@Cerebrosoft A PSU is a component you rarely change, wouldn´t it be smart to have a decent PSU if you in the future might build a more powerconsuming system?
Yep metalmilitia, That motherboard looks so inadequate in the case. They've basically replaced the most expensive parts of the PC, and for what! So they don't need to reinstall? Don't be afraid of reinstalling Windows guys, it's really not that hard, just click next! ;)
This is not really good. The PSU has got enough power for 2-3 PCs like this under full load! And the upgrade components are so expensive that it would be much better to buy a complete new PC!
I like Corsair (have got RAMs and PSU from them) but this video here is simply bullshit!
do PCI 2.0 GTX 560 ti work on a PCI x16? or do i have to upgrade it?

Doesn't the H50 fan completely ruin the airflow in the case by blowing cold air into the case from the back of it?

Argh now they have the tubing of the H50 on the top of the H50.
Shouldnt they be on the bottom? That way the hot water will rise through the radiator and improve the overall cooling.. right?
PaultjuhP 2 years ago
@PaultjuhP There is a pump in the H50 that will keep water flowing through it. It doesn't matter which way you orient the radiator.
