i work at jiffy lube my self...you cant just nock all jiffy lubes in the country because a few fucking moronic employees, im a CSA myself, and i would never even think about selling something to someone that doesnt need to be done or something that we cant do...and if we cant do it, we simply let the customer know, we arent able to do it. all about trust.
fuck that at my Jiffy Lube we don't waste time thinking about whether to do repairs or not. i mean why would anyone not do the repairs... not like i get more on my paycheck if i charge someone for something i didn't do, so i might as well do it. i mean shit, we were short 8 bucks today hahaha. obviously we don't run scams where i work.
jiffy lube is a crime commiting corp. everyday day 100's of people are lied to and told they need extra expensive services, only to be un needed. sometime they will do the service, sometime's they wont! why? because heartland automotive jiffy lube is owned by quad c investment group therefore they demand an extreme profit daily. the managers are told lie and sell or be honest and get fired no joke! i was one of them! and i had my guys lie lie lie to keep my job! do not go to jiffy lube!
just went to jiffy lube today had y oil changed had to take chance they tried to sell me all kinds of services told them no .went to the nearest parkig lot and made sure they changed oil. if they fuck up my car intentally im going to hurt someone they need to know that can happen
DO NOT EVER go to a dealership to have repair work done. They rape you on repair costs, charge u for unnecessary work, and will scam u any way they can. I know b/c I know a lot of people that work at dealerships (lexus, bmw, and toyota). Go on Yelp and find a good trusted mechanic
@jRunlimited89 I DIY everything, autozone carries all the tools I need. And I can rent them, I get all my monies back after I return them. And I own what most people would consider a dealer service only car. 2001 E39. Unless you own some exotic vehicle like an Aston Martin, Bugatti, Lambo, ect. I really don't see a reason as to why you wouldn't do it yourself. It helps to learn (:
.they couldve just charged me for a new air filter or not changed it at all and still charged me like stiffy lube TRIED to do. Knew they were scamming ppl on those air filters.. im just lucky to have a honest shop down the street (they even got awards for their service) to fix my car the right way and not over charge. ended up putting out a craop of money on brake rotors though but atleast i know the job was done right.

So i take my car to a honest shop down the street to get brakes fixed and oil change less than 1,000 miles after jiffy lube (where i shouldve just took it the first time but didnt wanna wait) since the oil obvioulsy handt been changed.. it was dark as hell less than 3 months later and hardley driving it and the guy at the shop tells me my air filter looks good i didnt need a change ( i figured i get it checked to see wht they'd say) . when i took my car there.. i told the guy that looked like the manager toi make sure the vacuum boy didnt touch my car.. didnt want dirty fingerprints on it... 1 dude w/ prints was enough. i eyeballed em the whole time they worked on my car and just likre i knew the manager didnt say shit.. so i had to walk in the shop and stop him. plus 1 guy was calling everyvdy to a computer telling all of us we needed new air filters throwing up some dirty looking filter as a prop. i stared these ppl down
All of this shit going on is why I always do my own work. If it can't be done in my driveway, I pull my XJ into a friends garage and go from there. You just can't trust people anymore.
I don't take my car to any of those quick change oil places just because of this reason. The chances of you getting taken is huge and you are more likely to get scammed! I never take my car to these places anymore. Haven't in years. Find yourself a good trusted mechanic that you can trust and watch the work being done! Doesn't hurt to educate yourself as well on car stuff or just do it yourself. Then you know what is what! Simple!
thank god jiffy lube is a franchise and owned by different company's i mean damn if every single one of them did this then shit we would all be fucked. narrow ass minded people, all of you should die.
I worked for Jiffy lube and other lube shops in the east coast and I have seen this happen before and it wont stop. Shady ass mechanics, I fuckn hate them. They need better mechanics and honest workers for people who trust them to work on their cars. Jiffy Lube needs to go out of business and go fuck themselves or worse.
@4EVERBEASTMAN They worry more about customer service and quantity of customers than they do about doing a good job with knowledgeable staff. I took their "training courses" and about 90% of the time was spent on teaching me not to be a douche to the customers, learning about their little business Mantra, & trying to make me drink the corporate kool-aid. We spent less than 3 hours (out of a 5 day course) actually learning about the "process" on the cars. It's not brain surgery, but still...
I worked at Jiffy Lube...for a day and a half. I don't want to work @ the McDonalds of Autocare. Even when they DO do the work, they do a sloppy job and it's always rush work. I know the word "Jiffy" is in the name, but as a customer I'd rather wait an extra 5-10 minutes for a job well done than a faster half-assed job.
I know mechanics that when they service a car they take off newer parts (especially new cars) and replace with almost expired used parts. Especially with parts that are hard to see (back of engine underneath car) its called skimming ..be warned
Don't go to jiffy lube unless you must. Avoid these discount places at all costs, the techs are not mechanics, and normally don't give a shi* about your car. They go through the motions, and over time get sloppy as hell. On the best occassion visiting this place, they spilled oil all in the area by the exhaust manifold, causing smoke and smell for a while. I brought it back, they 'cleaned' it, and sent me out without an apology.
we were about to go to jiffy lube. i made the wrong turn and then more people got in line. so i went to valvoline across the street. i got my oil changed, brakes fixed and much more. for so much cheaper. the guys at valvoline told us about the scams jiffylube does. they always get people from jiffy lube with no oil in their cars and much more. FUCK JIFFY LUBE. VALVOLINE ALWAYS GOOD.
A few years ago I had my oil changed at JiffyLube. While I was waiting, a young woman was shown her "dirty" trans oil by the tech. She said "well, OK, if you think I need it" to the tech. He walked away; then I asked the woman how many miles on her, apparently, newer car. "7,000". I told her she doesn't need a trans flush. She then told the tech nevermind. That same tech rang up my bill, then said to me, "don't ever come in here again". I haven't.
@dave0mary that is why they rob people, because most people do not know when stuff needs to be changed/replaced. they take advantage of everyone for their own greed and that should be a crime. fucking ridiculous if you ask me.
@dave0mary Good for you.... I think a lot of "car guys" take info for granted...what seems obvious to us makes no sense to the untitiated. It's sad that people actually make a living off of other people's ignorance.
ok, so i went there once to this jiffy lube around my place, i heard it only costs 30$. Before i know it they asked me for $200+. i asked them y? they replied, stuff about the air intake blah blah blah, so to save time i told them OK. they even asked me what kind of oil i preferred- idk that's y i brought it there. and after driving 4 30min. the engine light came on. i took it to some other mechanic, and showed me that they didn't even change the oil filter, and didn't put the correct oil. FUCKU
everybody needs to take this shit with a grain of salt. not every jiffy lube operates like this, and that goes for every quick lube company. obviously there was a scheme going on in the major area of this city that was brought to justice, but most of these places are pretty committed to the customer once they realized that scamming would only last for so long. companies like jiffy lube int. are owned by over 100 different franchises and each of them operate differently. think for a minute people
Excellent reporting. Dishonest auto repair shop? Shocking. They should go to jail for theft. Not everyone is smart enough to know jiffy lube is low end junk. I would only let a certified, experienced, VW technician touch my GTI bro.
'whatch out for THE ENGINE PROS. corona california 209 blaine st. scammers scammers.. dont ever get your vehicle there YOU will get rip out.. I hope is not too late for you like it is for me
the first one the fuel filter they marked was not the fuel filter it was a fuel pump the filter on that jeep is inline with the fuel line i just replaced one the other day
Im guessing Jiffy lube has ripped me off lots of times I hate that i dont know how to prove other than.... I cant tell a fucking difference when they charge me about these extra services FUCK Jiffy Lube !! !!
Im guessing Jiffy lube has ripped me off lots of times I hate that i dont know how to prove other than.... I cant tell a fucking difference when they charge me about these extra services FUCK Jiffy Lube !!!!
@tennespeedy In this year grand cherokee the fuel filter/regulator are the same unit. With your lack of knowledge perhaps you should go apply to work at stiffy lube. LOL!
@NowLifeStarts Yeah no shit dumbass. What the hell you think he was writing on? Are you stupid or what? Read my comment again while you're on your meds.
@tennespeedy Depending on the year (93-98) there is either an inline filter or a filter/regulator mounted on the fuel pump module. Later model WJ's have both. The vehicle in the video had the regulator/filter unit that requires dropping the fuel tank. They marked the fuel filter/regulator with a 4 in the video. That is all you get for your free lesson today.
i work for valvoline and we dont do this crooked shit....we do all services with no commision........jiffy who....jiffy what.....jiffy how come...fuk jiffy
wow why i do all of my own work on my car.and if i still had my shop i never did this cuz i had the coustomer watch me as i did the work you were right there with me so no news was on my ass for this bull
Jiffy lube has always ripped people off. I went there years ago for an oil change and they said I had metal shavings on the oil plug. They always removed the oil plug and dip it in metal shavings and then tell you you're engine needs a flush because we found metal shavings on the oil plug, Jiffy Lube will never get my business again they are a bunch of con artist with a drive thru robbery service!
I was a manager and they dont drop tanks and they hire people that breath to fill spots. I had people that coulnt even vacuum or wash the windows right. Its a good company with good intensions, but like I said...... they will hire anyone
and also not that im covering for them becuase i sued them myself but on the honda accord where they put the camera by the transmission lines was wrong becuase honda has a transmission drain plug that looks like the oil pan plug so they prolly just drained it by the plug and filled it up
i use to be a manager for jiffy lube at 3 locations and thats dumb he sold a fuel filter on that jeep becuase they dont drop gas tanks only ones exposed under the hood or under the chassis
I worked for Jiffy Lube in Portland Oregon for 3 years. You are expected to sell $70.00 to every car on average. If you don't , they threaten and fire you. The only way you can average $70.00 a car is to scam the customers by selling them stuff they don't need. I would say 80% of stuff that's sold to customers , they don't really need.
It's not the employee's fault. They are fired if they don't scam customer's enough. So they fear losing their job. The employee's get NO commission at all
This happens every wear yea all the jiffy lube do that sounds pretty fucking stupid not all the shops are like that if that were tru jiffy would not be around he or she or heshe is a cheap ass and realized that it costs money to maintain a car yea they may say you need a lot of work cuse it's badly negleted
This does happen everywhere. What's scary is that the employees have scammed people so many times that when they tell you something needs to be done, even if it doesn't, they themselves believe it because they've done it so many times.
The easiest way to increase profits is to charge for parts and labor that is never done. I worked for a national chain and I saw it happening on a regular basis. IT is because the mechanics pay is tied to bonuses. The best mechanic did over $10,000 worth of work per week and I did the payroll. His bonuses were $700 a week on average, plus his hourly rate.
i have a few friends who are mechanics, they do this shit EVERYWHERE, not just low paying quick service places. one friend of mine works at a dealership. even they screw people by telling them there warranty wont cover a repair due to certain circumstances or they will say it was the customers fault. My advice is go to a trusted friend/relative who knows a lot about cars and buy him a steak or something for doing maintenance on your car... dont trust any repair shop/quick service shop.
i work at jiffy lube and our jiffy lube never skips anything, our work place is honest. its not the corporation, its the people. Yea, LA is gonan suck...
Every express chain store does that to everybody. They do that because most people are just drive and go. A person who knows about cars then the techs get's all pissed because they can't make money lol.
You know what they need to do, start hiring people that know a transmission from a fuel filter. I'm sorry but every shop i go to these days, nothing but illegal mexicans performing these jobs, because they work cheap. Get rid of them, hire some honest hard working americans. Ive been in the auto business since I was only 15, worked in many shops and I see how it is, its all bullshit. If your going to own a shop, make sure its a shop people respect and trust.
@pallymeat FUCK YOU...YOUR MOM. YOUR HUSBAND (CAUSE YOUR A FAG) ...AND EVERY FAG IN YOUR LIFE....LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT TO GO TOE TO TOE YOU FUCKING QUEER
I used to work at indylube (same kinda place a jiffylube) part of the training was to tell people to change things even when they don't need to be changed, the managment also told us if it takes too long to change something don't change it just charge for it.
My question is would the manager that told you to do that have your back if someone caught you or one of the other techs. and came back with the cops ? I don't know about where you are but in this state there is a law called theft by deception and depending on how much you got ripped off for the charge could be a Class A Misdemenior and over $200.00 is a Felony. I think I would have quit that job before I chanced catching a case LOL.
Wow...who's brown? The black guy is also brown. It kills me how Hispanics (Mexicans in particular) say BROWN when the majority of them ARE NOT BROWN at all...most have the same complexion as white people lol. No one "can look for brown" in a mexican...just by the features lol.
Dammit Leo...Why why why didn't you change that fuel filter? Because its a hard one to get to that's why. I cant believe this happens, its just unheard of. I wonder if Leo has seen this You Tube video yet?? Where are you Leo???
what do you want from the mcdonalds of mechanics? Most of these guys are ex carnies... I wouldn't be bustin my butt either..minimum work for minimum wage..keep sticking it to the customers jiffy lube dudes... you have the right to!
Had a truck inspected on Battleground Ave in Greensboro NC and they charged $50.00 to "adjust the carburetor to pass inspection". Called them back and asked them how it was possible to adjust the carburetor on a throttle body. It was not until after I threatened to contact the NCDOT, that the morons refunded the money. I knew something was up when they tried to slip a $30.00 "headlight alignment" thru A/P on 3 brand new trucks. Don't deal with these people. They are a bunch of crooks.
I just got my oil changed at a Jiffy Lube in Minnesota. They charged me for 8 quarts of oil when my owner's manual clearly states that it takes 6. What is worse is that my car is now leaking oil. They stripped the threads on my oil pan, and instead of telling me or fixing it, they tried to stop the leak with a couple rubber stoppers, which did not work. I brought the car back and they claimed that they are not responsible. Jiffy Lube is a fucking scam!!!
OK OK OK JL should have closed this spot down ASAP.. other people ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT OTHERS DO.. same for anyones race when a White person goes on a killing spree or a black man robs a store... ARE we held accountable? No we are not they are the ones going to jail... Does it give the race a black eye... Yes it does to those who are limited in their thinking... KC sorry you have to take the brunt of other bad work!
ok i am the store manager for jiffy lube in madison.. i can promise you that things have changed since this happened.. if anything like this were to happen in my store id have every one of my guys balls on a rope.. jiffy lube is one of the most respected names in the quick lube business for a reason.. the hell with these lazy bastards come see me at jiffy lube in madison on juction court.. tell them u read this and we will give u 10$ off
Here is THIER latest scam: You go in and ask them "what's the best oil change I can get for under $40." They will tell you a non-total price by saying "the 76 Synthetic upgrade cost $28.99". Then later you find out that the price is $28.99 plus the standard base price of $36.99 for a total of $61.69
im a Jiffy Lube Employee and I have good news for everyone! jiffy lube at that time was owned by shell ....now a new company is buying out all of the jiffy lubes and replacing managers and staff in a heart beat and believe me this new corperation has a zero tallerance policy for cutting corners
Well, do you expect someone at (I don't know)Macdonald's to spit in your burger or deal with your food w/o washing his/her hands because s/he happens to be paid 8$ an hour? That eight dollars someone pays you (although
painfully low) is money given to you because you are supposed to be doing your job...if that means "[putting your] heart into it" then yes, you should be ".
This is why I do my own oil change, not only it is cheaper but I don't have to deal with people pressuring me to change this and that. I know my car better.
Ofcouse I can't repair everything (like the EVAP system, I got a DTC code P0446) and thank goodness there are ASE certified mechanics out there. Does Jiffy Lube have that?
I like to feel sexy....knowing someone is watching me ..wanting me...turns me on!BADLY! I like to flirt and pose..and sometimes i like to get WILD! how? ..he he..come in video and youll see:-)) maybe u can teach me something..or maybe i will ! come visit me at ... MeetYourFling (.COM) ... my user-id there is sydney-enln chat soon on cam :-) mjbiekmamj
hey i work at jiffy lube and we dont do any of this. were legit. and for the bastards who think we pressure the customers...were jus doin our jobs. im sure the dumbass here are the customers..there the idiots to agree to pay for the ancillary service. JUST SAY NO!
5 out of 9 doesn't look good for the honest stores. I'm not sure why the customers are dumb asses though. Do they deserve to be screwed because they trusted a mechanic at Jiffy Lube?
no they do not deserve to be screwed over. but they have the ability to just say no. if ur just there for an oil change then stick with that plan...and say no to other offers. yes i know this vid makes us look very bad but there are hundreds of other jiffy lubes out there that are very honest and true to there customers, and you cant really justify us as a screwed up company cuz of a few fuck ups tht happens to get caught on tv.
While you're correct that people have the option of declining service, they also expect that their not being lied to. Last time I was their they offered to change the fluid in my headlamps which seemed like a good idea until I found out that their is NO fluid in my headlamps.
Wow, jkwanx89x is calling his customers "idiots". So when you pressure customers, you're just "doing your job". And if customers take your advice, they're idiots. And you stick up for Jiffy Lube. And you claim that you are trustworthy. So, you lie to and pressure customers, and still claim to be legit. Customers are supposed to trust Jiffy Lube enough to go there in the first place, but not enough to take their advice. And when that advice is lies, it's the customer's fault. Okey dokey.
You can open a shop called "jwanx89x lube", and do the right thing all day long. By being a part of that chain, you BENEFIT from their national advertising and their corporate goodwill, so sorry, you ARE partly responsible for what the other Jiffy Lube's are doing.
I always stay with my car and I don't like Valvoline either. They're too fast and slap happy.
Jiffy Lube overfilled my sister's Chevy Trail Blazer with more than 16 quarts of oil. It totally screwed it up and then they didn't want to deal with it. There might be a good one or two out there, but I've never been to them and I'm sure I won't go.
I never liked jiffy lube because they want you to sit in the waiting room, away from your car....thats why I go to Valvaline...at least I get to stay with my car.
Jiffy Lube is worse than most because they're corrupt from the top. They pressure people to get stupid stuff like 3000 mi Mobil 1 oil changes. They pressure you for fuel filter, tranny service way more frequently than dealers recommend. And thats the good shops! As you can see the bad ones just flat rob you.
Joel Grover needs a new mechanic! I am a jeep engineer and that part he marked on the jeep is the fuel pressure regulator not the fuel filter! You do not have to lower the gas tank to get to the fuel filter.
Um, buddy, that isn't the fuel pressure regulator, it is the filter. On a lot of newer Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep products have the fuel filter in the top of the fuel tank sending unit. You are obviously not a Jeep engineer.
I used to let them do my oil changes until one time when i went there they said I had a really really bad oil leak....and I had not noticed any oil on my garage floor, nor smelled any burning...so i took my car to my dealership and they said I DIDN'T HAVE an oil leak. I wondered if they just didn't tighten the oil plug after the previous oil change but again, i didn't have any oil under my car or on the outside of the engine.
and i've been took b4 i'm a 31 year old guy that does all my own work to my truck but 1 time i had problems with a tranny so i took it in and they did the work and said there was something else wrong and i said fix it while u got it apart and a week later i had a problemm and got to fixing it and relized my old part i fixed b4 was still there the one they said they changed i know cause i rigged it to work and they said they put a newone on so watch as they work on ur vehicle
i used to work at a walmart and we caught a guy doing the same thing. we fired him and called all the customers offered them free oil changes. thats why you always watch your car. also you can do the exact same fluid exchange the t-tech machine does by draining the fluid and refilling it and since you have to usually take the pan off to do this replace the filter. also quick lubes wont do a jeep cherokee since its a life long filter. so in my opinon this story is almost complete bull sh@t.
yes to get all the fluid you would have to do that. but the machine just hooks in line with any hose. as it takes fluid out and dumps it, it refills the pan, mixing with old fluid. so in my opinion it would be better to take the pan off still. most tech that i have worked with just drain it by hand if they cant find a hose within 5 seconds. but good point man.
i work at jiffy lube my self...you cant just nock all jiffy lubes in the country because a few fucking moronic employees, im a CSA myself, and i would never even think about selling something to someone that doesnt need to be done or something that we cant do...and if we cant do it, we simply let the customer know, we arent able to do it. all about trust.

They need better mechanics and honest workers for people who trust them to work on their cars. Jiffy Lube needs to go out of business and go fuck themselves or worse.
4EVERBEASTMAN 8 months ago
@4EVERBEASTMAN They worry more about customer service and quantity of customers than they do about doing a good job with knowledgeable staff. I took their "training courses" and about 90% of the time was spent on teaching me not to be a douche to the customers, learning about their little business Mantra, & trying to make me drink the corporate kool-aid. We spent less than 3 hours (out of a 5 day course) actually learning about the "process" on the cars. It's not brain surgery, but still...
nightmathzombieethan 8 months ago
I worked at Jiffy Lube...for a day and a half. I don't want to work @ the McDonalds of Autocare. Even when they DO do the work, they do a sloppy job and it's always rush work. I know the word "Jiffy" is in the name, but as a customer I'd rather wait an extra 5-10 minutes for a job well done than a faster half-assed job.
nightmathzombieethan 8 months ago
I know mechanics that when they service a car they take off newer parts (especially new cars) and replace with almost expired used parts. Especially with parts that are hard to see (back of engine underneath car) its called skimming ..be warned
fuhrman66 8 months ago

Ihit2run2 10 months ago
A few years ago I had my oil changed at JiffyLube. While I was waiting, a young woman was shown her "dirty" trans oil by the tech. She said "well, OK, if you think I need it" to the tech. He walked away; then I asked the woman how many miles on her, apparently, newer car. "7,000". I told her she doesn't need a trans flush. She then told the tech nevermind. That same tech rang up my bill, then said to me, "don't ever come in here again". I haven't.
dave0mary 10 months ago
@dave0mary that is why they rob people, because most people do not know when stuff needs to be changed/replaced. they take advantage of everyone for their own greed and that should be a crime. fucking ridiculous if you ask me.
zbenes6741 10 months ago
@dave0mary Good for you.... I think a lot of "car guys" take info for granted...what seems obvious to us makes no sense to the untitiated. It's sad that people actually make a living off of other people's ignorance.

@nightmathzombieethan Yep - I've slept good every night since then. I wonder if the mgr/staff has?

ok, so i went there once to this jiffy lube around my place, i heard it only costs 30$.

It's a Jifflube/Fast Lube trademark
MrMakavellii 2 years ago
You people saying this doesn't happen everywhere have your head ion the sand. It's not just Jiffy lube, most shops do the same thing or worse.
ckerst 2 years ago
I worked for Jiffy Lube in Portland Oregon for 3 years. You are expected to sell $70.00 to every car on average. If you don't , they threaten and fire you. The only way you can average $70.00 a car is to scam the customers by selling them stuff they don't need. I would say 80% of stuff that's sold to customers , they don't really need.
It's not the employee's fault. They are fired if they don't scam customer's enough. So they fear losing their job. The employee's get NO commission at all
MrMakavellii 2 years ago 2
This happens every wear yea all the jiffy lube do that sounds pretty fucking stupid not all the shops are like that if that were tru jiffy would not be around he or she or heshe is a cheap ass and realized that it costs money to maintain a car yea they may say you need a lot of work cuse it's badly negleted
Synner83 2 years ago
This does happen everywhere. What's scary is that the employees have scammed people so many times that when they tell you something needs to be done, even if it doesn't, they themselves believe it because they've done it so many times.
theNecksLevel 2 years ago
The easiest way to increase profits is to charge for parts and labor that is never done. I worked for a national chain and I saw it happening on a regular basis. IT is because the mechanics pay is tied to bonuses. The best mechanic did over $10,000 worth of work per week and I did the payroll. His bonuses were $700 a week on average, plus his hourly rate.
EnergySupply2008 2 years ago
i have a few friends who are mechanics, they do this shit EVERYWHERE, not just low paying quick service places. one friend of mine works at a dealership. even they screw people by telling them there warranty wont cover a repair due to certain circumstances or they will say it was the customers fault. My advice is go to a trusted friend/relative who knows a lot about cars and buy him a steak or something for doing maintenance on your car... dont trust any repair shop/quick service shop.

squeeto99 2 years ago
My question is would the manager that told you to do that have your back if someone caught you or one of the other techs. and came back with the cops ? Wow...who's brown? The black guy is also brown. It kills me how Hispanics (Mexicans in particular) say BROWN when the majority of them ARE NOT BROWN at all...most have the same complexion as white people lol. No one "can look for brown" in a mexican...just by the features lol.
prettygangsta55 2 years ago
WAIT, how is the "black guy" brown?
if your correcting me on the literal complexion of the people, how can you say the "black guy" is brown? isnt that an oxymoron?
if you said the African American is brown that makes sense, but the black guy is brown?
was the red car blue?
funny how you call him the "Black Guy" when theres no such thing as a BLACK GUY
but i cant say BROWN to identify hispanics, even though SOME hispanics ARE INFACT BROWN.
car000333 2 years ago
my point is colors are used to identify certain races:
Caucasians: White
African Americans: Black(you clearly agree here)
Asians: Yellow(i dont see it, but they are known as yellow)
Native Americans: Red(again, i dont see it)
Hispanics: BROWN
my "look for brown" comment was not to be taken literally, it was metaphoric since
gopconservative78 said its all the "mexicans" fault, even though theres clearly an "African American" there too, and a "Caucasian" is the owner

Okey dokey.

Um, buddy, that isn't the fuel pressure regulator, it is the filter. On a lot of newer Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep products have the fuel filter in the top of the fuel tank sending unit. You are obviously not a Jeep engineer.

if you have a manuel and some automatics there is ddrain and fill plug like oil change on tranny

I used to let them do my oil changes until one time when i went there they said I had a really really bad oil leak....and I had not noticed any oil on my garage floor, nor smelled any burning...so i took my car to my dealership and they said I DIDN'T HAVE an oil leak. I wondered if they just didn't tighten the oil plug after the previous oil change but again, i didn't have any oil under my car or on the outside of the engine.

i used to work at a walmart and we caught a guy doing the same thing. we fired him and called all the customers offered them free oil changes. thats why you always watch your car. also you can do the exact same fluid exchange the t-tech machine does by draining the fluid and refilling it and since you have to usually take the pan off to do this replace the filter. also quick lubes wont do a jeep cherokee since its a life long filter. so in my opinon this story is almost complete bull sh@t.

You forgot to mention you need to drain the torque converter and transmission cooler to perform the same thing as the machine.

yes to get all the fluid you would have to do that. but the machine just hooks in line with any hose. as it takes fluid out and dumps it, it refills the pan, mixing with old fluid. so in my opinion it would be better to take the pan off still. most tech that i have worked with just drain it by hand if they cant find a hose within 5 seconds. but good point man.
