  • Its pretty good if you can bench press 60kg at the age of 13.

  • hey bruce lee are u goin to be a famous fighter??

  • Ugh Tae Kwon Do.

  • What the fuck? How dare you compare yourself with Bruce Lee's physique.... you not even big...

  • @MrPete5480 its easy to get out of arm bar u just bite :) as bruce lee says were all animals :)

  • future looks bright for this kid if he joins mma..

  • sry but didnt bruce lee say be your own person dont live up to anyone else but yourself?

  • well i think roids would make him look bigger instead of ripped and he'd probably have a shlt load of veins xD

  • ur chest looks like a womans tits, but ur body is good :)

tho u need to get a life kid...

  • yeap you are right but he have no wide lats which bruce lee have.

  • @victorhugomuzi why hasnt he got a life ... idiot

  • your far from bruce lee... i wouldnt go that far. but not a bad chest.

  • what;s your diet?

  • im 14 and i do 275 lbs

  • woow amazin chest!!!!

  • BRUCE LEE LIIIIIIIIVES

  • 0:58 nice one man ;)

  • 1:29 the guy walks in.. notices two dudes video-ing eachother in the changing rooms.. turns around.. leaves.

  • Awsome body work you´re a grate inspiration 4 everyone! thanks!!

  • Some people just build larger muscles because it's in their Genes, you are one of those Lucky people! :) Keep up the Martial arts too, there's no point being big and well muscled if you cannot move fast and efficiently with them :)

  • I Expect you to be in the next great kung-fu movie.

    Do not dissapoint me.

  • Next Bruce LEE! And you like Metallica, nice.

  • nuthing special, in our kung fu club we train evry kind ground fight and full contact and the thing he does now. lol but hes bullshit, its like hes handicapped.

  • your are built slightly like Bruce Lee, but less so. You were you were a beast already at only 13 years old, so im still very impressed. I'd say that you could get close if you keep it up.

    ...SO KEEP IT UP!

  • i almost look like that

  • god, i wish i had that body..

I've been exercising for a while, i'm starting to see my abs, my chest is getting bigger..

But the thing is, what do you need to do to get ripped and not bulky apart from having a low-calorie diet and cardio?

  • dude u suck.. ill beat the crap out of u. with my terminator body. all bout arnold

  • can punch as fast as bruce lee?

  • that kid would kick my ass and im prbably 2x bigger

  • bruce lee had massive lats. like truly massive lats.

  • man,,, keep going,,, like you,,,,hope you can be a contributor to Chinese martial arts film industry like Jacky. Jet, and Donnie...

  • and how short is this guy???

    exactly, tsk tsk tsk.

  • Diablos men si se ve que usas CREATINA tenes muchas espinillas en la espalda

  • youre awesome dude keep up the good work, bruce would be proud!

  • good stuff dude

  • air dont hit back!!!!!!!

  • @Qu33nZyunGvET718 ok go to were he is and stand in the way then make a comment

  • HAHAHAHA LMAO. i dont use steroids? haha ofocurse you dont, you weight like 90 pounds. if anyone is saying he uses steroids then you must be pretty damn retarted. pretty lean but needs more mass. but your young. give it time youll get there. good foundation now hit heavy n eat like a damn savage!

  • @EquippedProductions He's a martial artist not a body builder he's needs to be lean and strong but mobile, and fast, body builders aren't!!!

  • Nice tits for your age.

  • Essentially you look great. They only thing you are missing in tremendous measure is wingspan/ muscle mass in regards to your back. If you could pack on mass and width onto your back you'd a lot like Bruce or at least be well on your way.

    Great vid!

  • I must add that you are amazing , I would expect this from soemone much older. I want to ask. Are you going to study Jeet Kun Do like he created? that would be a true tribute.

  • I am a Bruce Lee fan. I was at first angry when I saw the title but when I went and saw your video I must admit that your physique looks quite a lot like his muscularity. I also am glad that you are tributing this to him. True no one will ever replace bruce lee nor brandon lee. They were special.

  • son i am proud

  • using sterions

  • Im in tae kwon do and i dont lift weights and it really feels good but i need somthin more any tips?

  • yano all those kicks are kinda crap when your on the ground and get arm barred :)

  • @MrPete5480

That's why I do Jiu Jitsu and Wrestling too. Haha. o.O

  • @MatthewTYK OOOOO U owned that kid

  • @MatthewTYK OOOOO U owned that kid, i wrestle too but broke my arm 6 days into this season, and im out 4 the rest of it

  • @MatthewTYK where do you live? i am 17 and weigh only 135 and i guarantee i could give you a beating muay thai style!

  • @MatthewTYK Nice Video :) But i strongly suggest you don't lift weight's yet come to 18! cuse you're too young and it will damage you're back and you're still evolving and you don't have the testoreon halt and stuff it's not good and you might not grow in height. But reallly nice video! but remember not to buff you're chest to much or hard it restricts fast movement and work alot on forearms ;). Mostly do isometrics training and do Aerobics it's a nice strength and endurance based training.

  • I'm pretty sure u never really got kicked from who really has been training right?

  • @MrPete5480 but what the point of an arm bar if u cant kick, u cant survives on arm bar it like saying arms bars r crap if u cant kick, u clearly cant kick to save ur life

  • Those kicks are weak!

  • what martial arts do u train ?? ^_^

  • You look good for your age, but apart from being Asian, you don't look anything like Bruce Lee, maybe the face, not the body ;)

  • your screwing up your joints there mate.

  • ur awesome man, i wish i was that ripped, im just bones and fat

  • every generation is better than the other

  • you're a scary motherfucker.

  • dude u r awsome your really hott lol

  • keep it up man.. your amazing

  • all those muscles would be a disadvantage in a real fight

  • hmmm is that taekwondo?

last time i recall, bruce lee does kung fu....

  • @dynastyflygon actually bruce didnt stylize, although he did begin with wing chun, he actually used JKD which isnt a martial art, its a philosopy, the ultimate style is the style of no style. use what works

  • ROIDS ROIDS ROIDS

  • Doesnt even has armpit hair...

  • lifting weights doesn't really gets u stronger, it make you look good just to let you know

  • @Hsuweskiller if lifting weights doesnt make you stronger, than why some people can lift more weight than others? maybe because they are STRONGER?

  • @Chausboy it doesn't, weight lifting gets u heavier sometimes get you slower(if you don't run or work on ur legs) and to get stronger, u need to be very explosive

  • @Hsuweskiller dude wth ur shitting bout?I train with weights and i do workouts with my body weight. when i started training I could only bench 100 lbs,i now i bench 162 lbs. I do 60m sprint in 6.27 secs, i play hockey, i can do 15 pull ups behind the neck and I can hit your head with my foot. yes ive gained weight since i started training, but dude, duhh, muscles grow = more weight. if u trian the right way, not like body builders do, you wont lose flexibility, become slow, fat and ugly.

  • @Hsuweskiller

    This is fundamentally, incredibly stupid.

Take a wild guess about how strongman competitor's train. You know, the guys who do incredible real-world feats of strength?

Guess how guys like Hackenschmidt, the Great Gama, and Bruce Lee loved to train? That's right - resistance training. Bruce Lee loved barbell training (and steroids) which should endear them to many of the "kung fu flick" fanboys who treat Lee as the ultimate reason of why people shouldn't train with weights.

  • @tgtennis i lift sometimes but i do P90X and Insanity(regular and Asylum)

  • @Hsuweskiller

Shitting on weights while jumping on Horton's overmarketed hype-train. Wonderful. You do know that Horton specifically stated his system wasn't for athletes, in order to get all the usual low-self-esteem, home-gym types to buy it. Then, once it was successful, he paid actual athletes to act like a system with jack-all planning and progression actually was a sound way to get bigger, stronger, and faster.

    Huzzah.

  • @Hsuweskiller

    Here's a little gem:

    higher-faster-sports ...-... com ...-... relativestrengthmyth

The author demonstrates that athletes of a roughly average height (5'8"-6') and builds reach peak athleticism at a weight of 180-200 pounds, 10-12% bodyfat. This is when they are most explosive, with great cardio and strength. Interestingly, pre-historic homo sapiens stood 5'10" and weight 170-180 at 10-12% bodyfat on average.

  • Don't take this the wrong way (you've got a good build, no doubt) but you are not built like Bruce Lee yet. To anyone with an eye for physiques (beyond "lean Asian") one of Lee's defining characteristics were amazing lats, as well as a particularly heavy set of abdominal muscles. In fact, he had a thick midsection (that's a good thing) due to abdominal muscle mass and his huge lats gave him the v-shape. To an athlete/martial artist, those muscles are more important than similarities in arms/neck

  • @tgtennis

Look this kid's only 13, how can you compare him to a 32 year old Bruce Lee? When I was young, Bruce Lee gave me some inspiration as well as Mas Oyama. Anyways, when Bruce Lee was 13, he was a little skinny kid actor who just started Martial Arts. This kid's is body is almost comparable to Lee at only 13.

  • @TheLightningkick

Just because Lee inspires people doesn't mean they have the same body type as him. Pyrros Dimas inspires me and my build is closest to that of an Olympic weightlifter, but that doesn't mean I've got his physique.

And nobody compares themselves to a "13 year old Bruce Lee" let's be real here. How many fairly ripped asian guys have posted "Bruce Lee physique" vids at this point? Tons - and they are all missing his signature abs/lats. Those were an inspiration to bodybuilders

  • @tgtennis i totally agree. bruce wasn't a bodybuilder and stated it in his book art of expressing the human body. sure bruce knew how to train for the right speed and strength in your punch you actually do have to train every muscle in your body when it comes to combat just as it is, but you don't train them to have big bulky muscles. he trained for the skills needed to fight and combined with his strength training gave him a unique body, very ripped and strong yet explosive.

  • @MartialExpert

I'm a big believe in "form follows function." Train for athletic qualities (strength, speed, etc) and much of the bodily aesthetic will come naturally.

I should say, though, that "bulky muscles" are almost NEVER a problem. More muscle is a good thing 49 times out of 50, at least. If you don't train for flexibility, speed, etc as well, then you'll suffer. Granted, an all-out mass gain phase can present some initial cardio problems, but those are easily settled.

  • @tgtennis yea his lats were huge no doubt at all, but his core and chest were soooo ripped that it made his lats look even bigger. also he did like 8-10 different variations of chest.

  • Hey i'm 13 and I also have that bone sticking out when i flex my chest muscles. Right in between the chest muscles underneath. It disappears as you get older my dad said :P

  • respeckt kleiner ;D

  • how much are u benching on this video?

  • Asian Pride.

  • hey man how much can you bench?

  • @MrOriginalkyle

Well I'm 14 now and almost 15, I can bench around 230/235 Ilbs just once.

  • @MatthewTYK damn man thats huge! haha keep up the good work btw are you chinese?

  • @MatthewTYK

    what is your weight

  • i was 15 last year and benched 295, just thought id throw that out there

  • @danramz69

    really?

  • @aznpatrik00 yepp

  • @MatthewTYK

wow, haha, i know some people bigger then you and go to the gym that cant do that. haha

  • @MatthewTYK i'm not very good in turning lbs to kilo but if im not wrong its around 100-110 kilo's and thats sick for ur age. Very well done!

  • @MatthewTYK

bro I really, really hope that you didn't stunt your own growth by working out at this age. I'm assuming you didn't which would be good, but you shouldn't really start lifting weights until you're 15. At 13-14 you should just be doing isometric workouts like sit-ups and pushups etc etc.... That would suck if you coulda been 6 feet but now you'll stay 5"5' lmao

  • @jthetrackr

Lol, I'm 5' 10' at the moment so I'm not doomed to be a miget... 2 more inches.

  • @MatthewTYK

hey man, in that case this video is awesome and congrats. I'm 21, only 130 lbs but I can't bench press like that. There's other excercises I can do very, very well though. Regardless that's very impressive. Keep it up but just don't get too huge. Trust me being regular sized and ripped is way better then being a huge mutant body builder freak and my own friend who's a personal trainer tells me girls liked him way better when he WASN'T 5"9 220 lbs of muscle lol.

  • i am 14 as well and almost 15 to and my max at the moment is 230

  • @MatthewTYK you're going to grow up into a beast...no joke

  • @MatthewTYK I just turned 14 and i do about that too.

  • @MatthewTYK i bet ur strong my friend, but the amount of weight one can do doesnt define how strong they are. Example my friend does like 60 pounds for arms but yet i can eat him alive lol (and i do 15 for my arms lol)

  • @MatthewTYK doubt it

  • @MatthewTYK

What the...??! You're lifting weight at only 15? I think u should stop until you stop growing up. At this age only sport and body weight exercises are not dangerous! Just ask your doctor!

  • @MatthewTYK dude wat gave you the idea to do that

  • @BourgeoisCody There are only one two different types of muscle fibers. One of them needs more time for recovery. The comment I made wasn't based upon whether or not being exposed to different stresses would have a different effect. Chistriker implied that there would be "leaner" muscle. Go read any article about bodybuilding and you will find that there is no such thing. There is no fat content in your muscles.

  • wow for 13 this is absolutely insane

  • weak ass abs , only bad thing :D

  • you dun even bench properly

  • @x3Mappy

I was just starting out. If I were a body builder I would have good form. But I just lift to get stronger. I have no intention of being a body builder. o.O

  • @MatthewTYK lol nah what i meant was even if you;re not a body builder its always good to got good form otherwise you fuck up your bones and muscles which is serious to your martial arts training true or what?

  • @MatthewTYK if you lift for strength then you gotta squat and deadlift too. Those lifts are far superior to building strength than the bench press. Keep at it man, I wish I started lifting at 13.

  • @MatthewTYK It's still important to learn good form though, so you don't end up injuring yourself. :S

  • @x3Mappy And you 'dun even' write properly. Wonder what might be more important...

  • @edsheadsaid its writing. Doesnt mean i dont know how to write it just saves me alot of time writing shorter words

  • @x3Mappy buddy he can bench more than yu can count, so stfu,

  • @q92rox no he cant LOL

  • @x3Mappy he can probably kick your ass easily

  • @mercedesr63 probaly and probaly not (:

  • nice body... but bruce lee has got wings larger than an airbus

  • Looking sharp! Stay kicking ass and taking care of yourself. Look into acting or a modeling agency that has some good credibility, if you're wanting to go that route. It may be fun for you and staying on the route you're on, I don't see why you couldn't make it working on some great projects.

    Wishing you well.

  • I like how you point out that you HAVENT used steroids and DOESENT know how they look, besides everybody can see your rash on your back and its starting to come on your chest, sry bro you failed.

  • ur kick have no power

    its girly

  • wahoouuuuuuuuuuu impressionnant putin de koréen lollll bien putin y gére le mino houuu l enculer c'est une béte

  • roids ? of course not but , supplements ? creatine ?

  • you sure look like him... but you got to rub your nose from time to time too.. ;))

  • I droped a sword down my stairs and listened for the song and wat ever came out was my asian boys name =)

  • dang dude massive pecs. whats your routine?

  • I would so kick his ass.

  • this is beast as shit for a 13 year old...

  • You have an asian background (there is nothing wrong with it) so you more than likely never going to be big. i am 14 and im naturally big and heavy its been my family so more than likey thats how its gonna be. I weigh around 200 and lift around 150 as my max(just started weight lifting 1 mouth ago). I dont know if im wrong or right but i think you should eat food with fat and carbs so you can gain weight a little then burn that so it help with the building process a little nice work. btwi wreslt

  • You're great. Your baby face shows you are really 13 in this video. Your physical development is amazing for that age, and you're a so talented martial artist.

  • Wow, awesome. You can tell that he's not on roids at first glance. His muscle proportion to his body is alright, and his cuts are all showing. But they look a little...weird?

  • Nice physique and strong lifts, only thing though that I might add is that your bench press form looks a bit off, and it's preventing you from lifting more weight, also I'm not sure, but I believe the way you do it has the potential to cause rotator cuff problems. Try to tuck in your elbows when you bring the bar down, the bar should go to just below the bottom of your pecs (you're bringing it down to the nipple line). But anyways, looking great, keep up the good work :)

  • while in the changing room, the guy came and saw him and just left lol

  • keep up the good work !!!

  • Steroids....

  • what do you eat

  • @Killare2 nothing id guessxD nah..just kidding^^

  • A Korean" 14 year old Bruce Lee." What an insult. Sorry guy in video. But Bruce Lee would have been insulted by that remark too, but taken it on the chin!

He was American! You have an uncanny resemblance to him though.

Most don't even know how Bruce trained, trained his mind, his will,or understand what he was saying in his movies, interviews.or books.I Am putting up a unique site soon for all die hard Lee fans! Watch out for it! It's gonna B HOT! I'll probably post a video about it up on here!

  • @shadowmanfan

The only reason I put Bruce Lee in the title is because I got a bunch of comments that I'm build like him.

In the beginning of this clip I wrote that I wasn't trying to imitate him in any way.

Also I wrote NOBODY can replace him too.

He's the most influencial Martial Artist who ever lived.

**By the way** I'm a Korean-American born in Seattle, WA, and Bruce Lee was a Chinese-American who used to teach in Seattle!

Don't misunderstand that I'm trying to be him.

    Thanks.

  • @MatthewTYK Ikr people don't read first before start saying stuff

  • @shadowmanfan plus dude Lee's mother was half german. so he is a german/ american / chinese. SUPER COMBO

  • wow you're only 13 in this vid? pretty damn good taekwondo kicker for a 13 year old

and body too....I admire you, if I had to choose, I would have started martial arts when I was at a young age

  • @userantifa

WOW, maybe you should learn to read. It says I've been lifting for 6 MONTHS! NOT since I was 6 years old... I would appreciate it if you don't use any profanity.

  • @MatthewTYK most likely he's the one with the small penis

  • ppl need to stfu if they dont know nothing about lifting... when i see hard work, all these idiots see is roids. And more idiots see that and start putting up more idiotic comments.

  • no one but jesus, god, and buddha should even be put in the same category as bruce lee.

  • So Korean Bruce Lee are u gona be in MMA wen ur 18?

  • lol man be careful your gonna stunt your growth you look short already..

  • @ChiStriker

You mentioned that sprinters lift only a little bit of weights. When I posted this video, I was on of the younger 8th graders, and most of them were a year older than me. But I lifted weights and it made me faster than anyone in my whole school. I could run close to a 12 second 100 meter. Without the strength I got from lifting, I wouldn't run that fast. Now at 14, I can sprint close to 11 seconds, even though I lift weights. My father said that Bruce Lee lifted weights!

  • @MatthewTYK I may be becoming a skinny kung fu guy (my goal) but if you look around and see that every true martial arts master, every traditional asian kung fu/karate/ninjutsu master if you look at them are very strong, but they have never lifted one weight in their life. Thats how their filled with lean muscle, its just from practicing the same technique, every day, for decades. Take the shaolin monks for example!! They are extremely strong and they never lift weights!!

  • @MatthewTYK The only thing your doing right is preparing for the MMA, which is not even a true martial arts championship...

  • @MatthewTYK your father never met bruce lee so that doesn't matter what he said.. and bruce lee was hella skinny he din't lift waits like you do but to each his own.. bruce from what most of the world could see thru his interviews and movies he stuck to push ups..

  • STOP LIFTING WEIGHTS, REAL MARTIAL ARTISTS DONT LIFT WEIGHTS!!! THATS CHEATING!! LIFTING WILL MAKE YOU SLOWER. Martial arts is about speed...

  • @ChiStriker Cheating?! thats utter bullshit. If you think weights dont improve martial arts, thats like defying sports physiology, kinesiology, bodybuilding, and even...SPORTS!! and weight training DOES improve speed. You just have to know how to use them

  • @joetheazl that may be true for some sports, but in the world of Kung Fu, weight lifting will only make you slower. Here and most sprinters spend like 90% of their training sprinting, and maybe only some weight lifting. If you look at Kung Fu masters and other TRUE martial art master. (Bruce Lee for example) they didnt beef up by doing one year of easy weight lifting at the gym and spending money on protein supplements. They dedicated their life to hard training such as holding the horsestance

  • @ChiStriker weight trainin IMPROVES speed which develops POWER!! and first off, bruce lee wasnt beefed up, he was just very lean, which is how he had the very muscular defined look! Second, theres a difference between weight LIFTING and weight TRAINING!! To be fast, your muscles have to fast twitched so weight TRAINIGN improves ENDURANCE! So athletes use weights to IMPROVE, not subsitute their training with it from swimming, sprinting, and even boxing!! What you're thinking is the kind of weight

  • @ChiStriker lifting you see in bodybuilders! of course they get big, but thats only for showmanship, not to imrpove their athletic ability. Bruce Lee DEF used weights cuz he has done his homework on the human body more than YOU!!!

  • @joetheazl for over 30 minutes Practicing the same kicks and techniques thousands of times, holding the most irratating stances for long ass times and doing plenty of resistance and flexebility training. They didnt fucking lift weights like a cheater.LookAt theUFC rit now.All those guys do is lift weights, and watch their fighting technequesSwinging your fists as hard as you can at your oponent and hoping one hits him in the head.Watch how slow theirFistsMove.WeightTraining improves powerNotSpeed

  • @ChiStriker

Wow, I can just picture you being a skinny Kung Fu guy.

Before you incorporate technique, you need a basic foundation of Speed, Strength, Flexibility, and Conditioning. Once you have those, then you can build technique on top of that. Without those essentials, you can't ever be a good Martial Artist. Most Martial Arts were created so that you could use it in real life, but if you cannot beat your opponent, then your not a good Martial Artist.

    POWER=SPEED

    No power=Wimp.

  • @MatthewTYK THANK YOU matthew!!

  • @MatthewTYK You ever got into a street fight?

  • @ChiStriker I disagree. I practiced traditional MA over a thousand days without any weight training. I think that it will take us to a point beyond which we stop growing.

I'm not as athletic as I use to be but now I am weight training. After 4 weeks, I noticed that I packed on muscles and my kicks are MUCH stronger and just as fast. I think weight training, if done correctly, will take MA to higher level.

  • @wbk360 yes but look at masters, that keep practicing the same technque without weights their whole life, they are very strong because of the slow lean muscle they gained over dozens of years, look up Samuel Kwok and then Ip Man Chung. They are Kung Fu

  • @ChiStriker You idot. You left so many comments that martial artist should not lift weight thats a stupid concept. If some guys have same weight and same level of skills who could win, the strong guy or weak guy?. The answer is clear. I look up the Samuel Kwok, that was joke. With my muay tha/kickboxing I can take him out few seconds. Becouse I 'm faster , stronger , bigger and more skilled. Ip man was Bruce Lee's teacher but he looked like 5 feet tall and 100 pound.

  • @ChiStriker I don't disagree there. Genuine masters are incredible. But the practices those people have are impractical for the average joe. Requires lifetime achievement. I have to pack on quality muscles faster than that. My kicks are deadlier than I ever wished for thanks to proper weight training. I was surprised how strong my kicks were. At the current rate of growth.. I can KO in a year with one kick. Running 250+ miles in 12 weeks also strengthened those muscles.
