Enjoyed the video. It brought back memories. I lived in Taipei for about six years. The people are very nice but no way is the city beautiful to look at. It's one of the ugliest cities in Asia, and there's plenty of competition for that crown!
I was from Taiwan and have been living in US for more than 25 years and my sister and mom live in Bangkok. I visited Bangkok few times in last 5 years. I love both cities but I am shocked to see "Taipei lags Bangkok 8 -10 years". That is most biased comment I have been seen on Youtube. Cheer up! And Taipei is a city full of love.....
I want to visit this country some day... now that I actually have a steady income there's really no excuse for not going. Just gotta plan the travel route and whatnot.
I went there in November of 08' and had a blast. I was there for 3 weeks. Went to Kaohsiung too. such a unique place taiwan is. the people are awesome and the weather is awesome too. just so many people and bad pollution were the only downfalls, besides that everything was awesome.
Is it easy to drive there ?
