  • does anyone have this full movie poated?

  • ... We've discovered her on our family tree! Sorry, forgot to add that piece of information!

  • We've recently discovered Daisy Ashcroft, the 9 year ok'd who wrote this in the 1800s. Does anyone know where we can get a copy of this film please? The family would love to see it. Thank you.

  • Poor Rosalind has a Gromit-like loyalty. Sally H. deftly gives her a touching character.

Pity this film isn't available in the U.K.

  • I love Jim Broadbent too much.. I really need to get this on dvd or something, loved this film for too long. my love for it was just reborn on tumblr.

  • Oh my God, Ethel is really pissing me off and this was just a preview. How can she be the leading lady? She is soooo annoying. I don't like her character at all.

  • What a lovely maid! Sally was so adorable in this movie!! :D

  • *knock knock*

    "Entaaaaaaahh!"

Sally, as always, was brilliant. (: Gotta love her.

  • Why is she always a maid? =S

  • It's very nice to see another work of Sally Hawkins. Thank you

  • lol typical english weather ^_^

  • The very first line of the book reads...'Mr Salteena was an ELDERLY man of forty two'.It is a brilliant tale of victorian middle class society perceived through the eyes of it's 10 year old author - a world in which the 'gentry' admire the plush outfits of doormen and servants with envy - and the romantic scenes are hilarious!

  • I read this book about 25 years ago, written by a ten year old victorian girl, and was enchanted. I would recommend this charming short story to anyone with a pulse.

  • I've replayed that rain scene about 5 times...that's some funny shit!

and that thing on top of her head...wth? I can't stop staring at it...distracting. lol

  • Hello Hawkers. Thanks for the comments.

Well, this clip includes almost whole Sally's part.

Rest of her appearance are very few seconds in the epilogue.

  • @PlanetKein THANK YOU FOR PUTTIN THIS UP. I AM HUGE FAN

  • Oh dear...

  • Well, I am German and I find this funny too,

but, of course, Germans have no sense of humour, so my opinion has no weight.

  • I guess we mexicans have no sense of humor either

  • The whole point of why it's so funny is that it was written by a 9 year old victorian child, if you were aware of the context you might not be so quick to judge with your xenophobic remarks based on ignorance and racism.

  • People like you give Americans a bad name, no wonder you have a reputation for failing to understand humour which contains a degree of subtlety or irony - it has to be so obvious that it is rammed down your throats accompanied by canned laughter...in case you miss the 'joke' altogether.

  • hahaha!! she would blow away in the rain, she's so skinny! adorable. :)

  • omg i gotta watch this! make more please~

  • planetkein muchas gracias por esta secuencia, es genial y me he reido mucho, espero alguna vez puedas subir la película completa. Sally esta increíble...gracias

  • oh wowow.

    LOL

love that rain scene poor sally.

Is she suppose to sound retarted tho?

    she really does sound it.

  • isn't the lady who plays ethel in this the actress who plays Twist in Spaced?

  • HAHAHAHAHA!!! Sally Hawkins, you're so funny!!! I love you!!!

  • LOLOL

sooooo funny...she is sooo great...i need to buy this too!LOL

  • Damn, I need to see this whole thing. Sally pwns face.

  • I'm a really big fan of Sally. This is one

that I've not seen. How about posting the

    rest.

    Thanks
