@GP3PocketSnare Has to do with motion sickness. I can sit anywhere in a car and do whatever in a car and not even feel remotely nauseous (including in a drift car, which I have ridden in. Not much rally here, sadly :( ), and I'm not a seasoned co-driver :P A lot of people deal with motion sickness though, especially at the G's they pull in a rally and drift car (basically same thing, just different mediums).

@bluered1322 There all wheel drive, but the new STI's as well as i think in the New Evo's have controls that can switch from All Wheel drive to 2 wheel drive for drifting purposes. They had a special on TOP Gear BBC on the speed channel. Im sure if you google it youll find it.

@WRXSubaru08 You can't switch either to 2 wheel drive. I can't elaborate on the Evo but I own one of the new STis and the DCCD can switch the center differential from anywhere between a 50/50 split to a 42/58 bias in the rear. The rumor that you can turn one into 2 wheel drive is totally false.

Those who say that you cant win you first race, check out Rally Finland 1994 footage, Tommi Mäkinen was having his first drive in Ford wrc car and rest is history. A lot of people have been putting Ken down, saying that we won't make anything of himself in WRC and won't stand a chance against the other drivers. All I have to say is before running your mouth, let's wait and see what he can do. I realize that the top WRC drivers are very very skilled, but keep in mind that Ken has only been at this since 2005. I'm not saying he's going to take WRC by storm, but I'm sure he'll do decent at least.

I live 10 minutes from were this video was shot and they should try it at night. its insane. my subaru has been down this road so many times that it can probly drive itself down it. They werent even on the best part, that road is about 20-25 miles long. Ken Block and Travis Pastrana are by far the 2 best american rally drivers and they have some of the nastiest subys ive ever seen.

Yes, WRC drivers can be more aggressive for sure, because they drive world rally cars. Ken is basically driving a glorified Group N, production based impreza on that stage. I'm sure he could be much more aggressive if he was driving a world rally car.

WRC is all about consistency and reliability. To win you don't have to be the fastest, just be the fastest of those who finish. There are plenty of national level drivers who are just as fast as the top stars, but they just can't stay on the road 3 days straight without a single mistake...

This guy is aboout spectacular, I like him for that, but he's nothing of a WRC driver. He has no chance against Loeb, Hirvonen, Latvala, Ogier , Sordo and most of the actual WRC driver. His driving is gross... Sorry to say...
