I'm trying to knit my first scarf and this is not the video to teach me. I've gone back twenty times and it's just too fast. While this might be helpful to someone else, its definitely not for the newbee.

@daphilbin I agree the operative word is beginner here. The title should have the work advanced or intermediate instead. I've seen too many videos that are titled wrong. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Then another for patterns.

I think it's an excellent job! Yes, she goes a little quick, but with any common sense and a Rewind, Fast Forward, and Pause button, anyone SHOULD be able to follow along. There aren't many 12 min long video's that explain the knit. I added you as a favorite! Thanks for your time...ignore the negative.

I think this video is very informative. Thanks for sharing this video, knittinghelp :) I have checked out some of the other videos on your site, and know the basics of knitting so that may be why I think this video is helpful. To the other people here complaining, try watching the first videos such as those for casting on and the knit stitch videos.

She said at the beginning she wasn't going very slow, that she was just showing how all the steps look together. If you look on her channel, you'll see more slower, in depth videos on how to do each step.

Casting on LIKE A BOSS and when I cast on all I get are uneven tight loops. Then I can't figure out how to slide the stick into the next loop. It took me a day to finally rember how to cast on......takes time that I don't have I guess :/

For those of you bothered by the fact that this isn't a "how to" video, she says in the beginning she isn't going to do it slowly and to add, this is just a video so you can see all of the steps in her other tutorials combined (read video info). She has videos (as well as other's on YT) on how to do each step (Cast On/Knit Stitch/ Purl Stitch). Rather than bashing someone's "teaching method", you should find a video that suits you. Everyone learns best in their own way.
