I have a tin of Reiners Long Golden Flake waiting here for me to open. I am sort of nervous that it will not live up to expectations.....but ;-) I think when you get the 'ashtray' taste is when the tobacco burns too hot......You made me smile talking of how some of the aroma reminded you of suntan oil on the toasting ladies on the beach when you were young ;-)..lol...amazing how aromas are sometimes so evocative and instantly take us back to a moment in time ;-)
@hampshirepipe I have decided to age my ReinersLGF. I enjoyed it but have heard it is even better 8 months down the road. Yes that made me probably like reiners even more when it refreshed those anchient memories :-)

@dagnerperformance I just made an order today from boswell's. I ordered an ounce of thier top 5 selling tobaccy's . So whatever i get i hope that thier va slice is a part of it.

I hope you get it to. I just recieved 5 ounces of the VA slice. I hope you enjoy all of them, they really dont have a bad tobacco at Boswells.
